Better Late than Never 

Evelyn Espinosa is the constant party girl. She knows how to have a fun time. She makes all the people around her happy with her enthusism.She keeps up with the latest parties. She keeps up with all her friends' birthdays,  and anniversaries. She is  the first one to remember the days we first met. She is trust worthy and kind but she has one flaw, she never on time never. She feels it is better to be late than never. She always runs late for everything dances, parties, even to work. It just has not caught up with her, some believe it never will. She is the queen of being late.Sometimes Pamela Reed is late too. Pamela reed, Kara Harris, Evelyn Espinosa came to the restaurant straight from their jobs to be here tonight with the girls.Tonight, is a special night tonight being Girls Night Out. Tonight, is a special night out with her friends Isabel Izzy Hernandez, Izzy for short. I know that Izzy is a typical nickname for Isabella. Izzy suits her. Pamela Reed, Kara Harris, Rebecca Shelton Becca for short and Natalie Tram. I know again Becca another typical name, Becca is quieter, but speaks her mind. Lainie Taylor. Not so typical. She bold and the first to let you know if she likes something or does not like something. 

The time that all of us make a point of meeting up. Tonight, is at Madre Dee’s restaurant. It is an Italian food restaurant. We always try to meet up with each other every other Friday. We are successful most of the time. We all work, but we try to meet up 80% of the time. Madres Dee’s has the best food we eat tons and stuff ourselves until we are sick. 

Right now, Evelyn is in her closet debating on what to wear tonight. She has four choices. That are debatable if it snows. The first outfit is a black dress with black strappy shoes and a black jacket and scarf. The second outfit is a red/black plaid skirt and red top and black jacket with another pair of black shoes. The third outfit is a black skirt black top and black jacket and red coat. The 4th and last outfit are the blue dress with black leggings and black coat and blue shoes. Evelyn has a lot of black shoes she has a lot of shoes in general. Evelyn is not tall, not short she is about 5.7.  That is not tall. Shes a brown-haired person with green eyes. Evelyn went with the black skirt, black top and red jacket and red/black scarf and she added a black hat. Evelyn states to herself that I will show up better late than never, the party never starts to alter anyway, well the restaurant stays open late. Evelyn spent and eternity putting om makeup. Laini is a red head, kept calling us about her outfit suggestions should I wear the dress or necklace. She picked both Natalie and Kara both have blonde hair and are both 5’6. 

The girls have not had a night in ages. They usually go to movie's, restaurants, and dancing, and karaoke bars to sing and visit one another's house. Tonight, the girls choose to eat at Madere Dee’s. They usually have drinks not tonight they choose non alcolock drinks did want to order them except Pamela she has a non- alcoholic margheritas strawberry it just a margherita without alcohol, are all driving, pam, and Izzy and Lainie came together. Kara came with Gretchen and Evelyn who is always late. The girls order shrimp scampi whole cheese and peperoni pizzas, mini pepperoni pizzas, and a vegetables platter as hors oeuvres and ranch dressing, bread sticks chef salad, chicken alfredo everyone wanted peperoni pizza they do serve pizza, For dessert they cannoli and , blondies, root beer ice cream floats, chocolate cake. we stuffed ouselves until we were literally sick. we even ordered more pizza on top of that. We ordered sodas and lemon water as well. we gourged ourselves on the root beer floats we all had more than one each.

The girls finally arrived Natalie wore black so did pam and Becca Izzy wore all beige including a beige hat, and all wore scarfs. Everyone wore boots because it was snowing outside. Pamela was not the designated driver. We all hugged and sat down at the table and stated eating the mini- pizza and vegetables. 

We all discussed what happened to us at work. Becca is a philosophy student, but works in retail, Becca told us about how her boss keeps on losing the receipts and them have everyone re-do them only to find them later. She real busy with classes and work. But she is available to see us. 

Natalie is an art student and works as a part time server. she says: It will give her inspiration meeting different people.” She is a fantastic artist, she does still life and abstract images. Her best painting is a painting with shapes of green yellows and blue paint marks and ovals. Evelyn wants to be her own boss an open a restaurant. Gretchen too workers in a restaurant. She told us about a couple that came in and proposed 2 years ago to celebrate their 2- year anniversary they had music playing and everything. She told us about an adorable little girl and boy that ordered for their whole table. It was so cute. she told us about people who came into the restaurant that ordered only coffee and Danishes, and cheese blintzes.  Laini and Becca did not want to discuss work they wanted to relax and spent time with friends. Laini has a boyfriend James Stewart whom she has been dating for 3 years so does Gretchen she dates William Marquez, she met him on a blind date. 

Laini, Becca Natalie grew up together they attended the same high school. Evelyn, Kara, and Izzy grew up together. Because we were all different friends at first does not mean when we combined friends that we are not close friends we are very tight knit friends. Evelyn is not the only one who comes late, but Pamela comes late too but not as often. Laini was suppose to soend time with her boyfriend but this is a girls night out no guys allowed. they chatted on the phone though.

We had a fun time together like we always do Becca has a crush on the waiter David Simms, she kept telling her to go for it. Laini asked for Becca was David single he said yes, Laini winked at Becca. Laini asked what kind of girls he liked. David answered “Nice, fun, smart girls” that described our Becca. Becca managed to get David's telephone number. They both exchanged telephone numbers, becca asked what time Davis ends his shift , he said alte. He works a lot of kllate shifts. He siasd even though it is early he could find time for Becca.Evelyn and Pamela swore he lloked dead at Becca.So, it turned out an even better night. We had a fun all girls night. We promise to go out and find time to spend time with each other. it was a long night, becca Natalie and Evelyn had work in the morning even though it was a Friday.We stayed up until after 2 am then left the restaurant and made sure we vcalled each other on the way home.We told each other to stay safe driving on snowy roads home.
