Aurora: ‘Hi! All Philip and I are holding a ball for the festive season. Are you all free to attend?’

Snow White: “Hey, Aurora that sounds great haven’t had a decent party since we all celebrated our weddings. Yes, Florian and I will be there. Hope you're putting on a feast Florian eats like a horse the kitchen staff are always complaining that he’s always looking for something to eat.”

Aurora: “LOL! Yes, Snow, there will be a big banquet table full of food.”

Snow White: “How are things with you and Philip anyway? How’ve things been since your wedding?”

Aurora: “Well, we’re trying to decorate the castle the way we want it, or rather the way I want it. Philip’s parent’s tastes are a bit too old-fashioned for my liking, I want a bit of a modern feel to the place. How are you and Florian getting on?”

Snow White: “Well, put it this way he’s learning, it’s hard to get some private intimate time when you have seven brothers, all keeping their eyes on you.”

Aurora: “You’re a married woman now surely they can leave you alone”

Snow White: “You’d think so wouldn’t you, but no! The other day we retired to our chambers for some alone time and were greeted by a resounding snore, Sleepy was well out on our bed, drool dripping onto the silk pillowcases. Talk about a turn-off! We’ll never provide the kingdom with the long-awaited ‘heir and a spare (or two) at this rate.”

Aurora: “I feel for you sister, my in-laws gave Philip and I a crib for our wedding present! Talk about pressure to perform! I mean most people give money, vouchers or dare I say too many toasters as wedding gifts, but not my in-laws they gave us a crib.”

Snow White: “I know it’s not all parties and fun being royalty, is it?Hey Rapunzel and Cinders, are joining us, nice to hear from you both. Aurora and I are discussing a party she and Philip are hosting. Will you be able to attend?”

Cinderella: “Charming and I will be there.”

Aurora: “Question is though Cinders, will you be running away from the party before midnight?”

Rapunzel: “Maybe she likes running away before midnight these days now that she’s got a prince to run away with, if you catch my drift!”

Cinderella: “Excuse me! There will be no running away at midnight for me thank you very much. I spent the first nearly 19 years of my life as an unpaid maid to my stepmother and her daughters, I’ve got years of teenage fun to catch up with. I’ll be one of those guests that you have to throw out at the end of the night.”

Rapunzel: “Aurora let me know the exact date please, as there’s a shortage of hairdressers in the kingdom now so appointments are like gold dust and that’s if you only need one. With the length of my hair, I need at least three or four of them. The last time I attended a ball it took three hairdressers two days to finish it. Think they needed counselling afterwards.”

Aurora: “Why don’t you get your hair cut Rapunzel, I liked it short.”

Rapunzel “I would but Fitzherbert loves it long. He loves to tie himself up in my hair when we're alone.”

Cinderella: “Excuse me I don’t think I want to hear about it thanks very much”

Aurora: “Shhh Cinders I do, tell all Rap.”

Rapunzel: “He calls it 50 braids LOL! I married a regular joker.”

Snow White: “Hey Cinders, are you going to wear your beautiful glass slippers for the ball? I love them they’re so stylish and unique”

Cinderella: “I’m not sure to be honest, ever since I wore them to the ball where I met Charming loads of our citizens are wearing them. They’ve turned from unique to more common than trainer’s TBH. Besides which the Health and Safety council started an investigation into the safety aspect of them. Some young woman wore a pair and got so intoxicated that she fell over broke one and cut her foot. Her mother is thinking of suing my fairy Godmother for damages for heaven's sake. The poor fairy is having to find a lawyer it’s crazy! I’ll probably wear my Jimmy Choo’s. On top of that my two ugly sisters are up in arms as well. They’re saying it’s prejudicial to call them ‘ugly sisters,’ and that it’s affecting their chances of finding a suitable match. What do I do I can hardly call them pretty sisters can I? Look what happened to Pinocchio he lied that much his nose grew that long it snapped in the middle. He’s still in the hospital receiving treatment as it refuses to shrink back down. You want to see how many hankies he needs these days if he gets a cold.”

Snow White: “That’s a really lovely image Cinders”

Cinderella: “I know right.”

Ariel: “Hello, everyone I’m sorry I’m late I’ve been trying to join the chat for ages, but I kept pressing the wrong thingamabob. What do you call it?’

Rapunzel: “Button Ariel.”

Ariel: “Oh yes button what a lovely word makes you feel happier just saying it. Button, button.”

Rapunzel: “Yes, Ariel, we get it.”

Ariel: “Sorry Rap, I just love the names you humans give to things.”

Rapunzel: “How are you and Eric Ariel? Have you decided whether to live on the land all the time or spend some of your time on land with Eric and some time in the sea with your family?”

Ariel: “I will spend most of my time with Eric we’re so in love. I also love my erm what are the things I walk on again?”

Rapunzel: “Legs Ariel”

Ariel: “Thank you, legs lovely legs.”

Aurora: “Are you both coming to my ball to celebrate the festive season”

Ariel: “Well after spending all my life praying for legs, I want to use them as much as possible. We will be there. You’re all so lucky that you have had legs all your life to walk around on.”

Rapunzel: “We might have had legs all our lives, but I think most of us are envious of you. To live under the ocean seeing the colour and the beauty of life under the waves, that’s a privilege, Ariel.”

Ariel: “You’re right Rapunzel, life under the waves is beautiful.Swimming with Dolphins is amazing they love to race the Mermaids to see who’s fastest. However, life on land with Eric is everything I’ve ever wanted. We will definitely attend your festive party. I love parties the music, the lights everyone dancing. OOOh I love dancing whirling around and around with Eric.”

Aurora: “One last thing we need to talk about before we all hang up.We need to sort out transport to and from the ball. I don’t want anyone getting a ticket for driving home under the influence. I mean the palace is big enough if anyone wants to crash down at my place.”

Snow White: “No worries there, Aurora, I’ve been in touch with Jasmine and Aladdin over transport. Jasmine is busy setting up the nursery at the moment, she and Aladdin are over the moon that they’re expecting twins. She’s the first of us to get pregnant, it’s so exciting. Anyway, back to the matter at hand she’s willing to provide all the magic carpets necessary for transportation needs, the night of the ball.Since they married their kingdom has been inundated with requests for flying carpets of all types and sizes. Their factory churns them out night and day now. Half of Agrabah works in the factory, it’s provided jobs and security for their kingdom. Carriages will soon be an old-fashioned way to travel flying carpets are the trendy way to travel these days.”

Rapunzel: “Your rat horsemen aren’t going to be too happy Cinders if everyone starts to ride by carpet they’ll be out of a job.”

Cinderella: “I think with the amount of journeys Florian, and I have had them take us on they will be glad of a bit of time off, to be honest.”

Ariel: “Oh it’s so exciting were all going to be honorary aunties to each other’s children. I can’t wait to see the twins when they're born. Is Jasmine coming to the ball?”

Aurora: “Yes, she is she’ll be five months by then, hopefully well over the morning sickness stage. She’s already getting cabin fever as Aladdin’s hovering over her like a mother hen.”

Snow White: “He’s just excited about being a first-time dad.”

Aurora: “Oh well girls are we all set for my ball then? Are there any other issues we need to talk about?If not, I’ll sign off and go and carry on my preparation for the big night.”

Snow White: “No all-good Aurora and thanks so much for hosting the ball it’ll be a night to remember. Bye everyone see you at the party!”
