It Came At Night!

It was a normal Saturday when boyhood friends Noah Bill And Skylar were hanging out 

At their typical spot by the creek on the other side of town they always heard of the urban 

Legend of the creek monster from the other bigger kids across the town and bullies at their 

Local middle school they say that if you stay at the creek long enough at night they say 

A monster comes out of the pitch dark and eats you, Noah believes it, bill and Skylar 

Don't with noah saying you guys dont think the urban legend is true guys? 

Of course it not bill and skylar both tell him reassuring him its only the 

Big kids try to scare you Noah and god knows you scare easy Noah no i dont 

Noah says Defensely shhh Bill says you guys hear that, Noah says stop it bill 

Its not going to work bill says iam not messing with you i promise you Noah 

Skylar says guys whats that as he point deep into the forest some distance away 

From them. Bill and Noah both say, we don’t see anything Skylar what is it? 

They ask Skylar says it looked like someone deep in the weeds over there 

Just staring at us, we dont see anyone, this place is giving me the creeps 

Now guys Noah says, lets get out of her the sun is starting to go down now 

Anyway, they start walking the quarter mile thru the forest to their 

Bikes they eventually make small talk, on the way back but Noah isn't 

Paying any attention he keeps looking back totally believing Skylar 

Saw what he said he saw a few minutes later they get on their bikes say 

Goodbye to each other and go home, its the next morning, bill shows at 

Noahs house and ask him if had any plans and if you he wanted to hang out 

Noah says he doesn't have any plans and says whats up? Bill says he wants to go 

Back to the creek and find out who was watching them, Noah says why? You 

Didnt even see anyone skylar did, Noah ask where's Skylar anyway bill says 

He went by his house earlier but no answer, iam sure hes out with his parents 

Bills says, bill then says if you want lets hangout at local arcade, noah says iam down 

And they go down to their local arcade Bill playing mortal Kombat and Noah playing 

Pac man right next to him, they spends some time there maybe a few hours at best 

Eventually Skylar comes by, Noah asks bill said you wern’t home earlier Skylar says yeah 

My parents wanted to go out to breakfast this morning and i was hungry so i went. 

Skylar knew the guys were here because they spend almost most weekends here if 

Not at the creek, they eventually eat some pizza play some games, and bill tells  

Skylar that he wants to go back to the creek to see who was staring at them 

Skylar says who ever that was really creeped them out and he tried to 

Forget about what he saw but can’t Noah asks you think anybody else 

Has seen who or what that was staring at them the guys say i don’t know,  

We are the only ones that i know of that go to the creek every wonder why 

Bill says, not until you just said that Noah says, lets go back tonight bill says 

Why tonight? The guys ask, because bills says it will be pitch dark, he cant 

See us and we wont see him that makes no sense bill Skylar says. I know iam 

Not making any sense bill says, i just want to know what the that guy or thing 

Wants bill says, Noah says we show up a night then what is you're big plan bill 

I dont know my dad has a gun maybe we can scare the guy away, what's his 

Deal anyway? Just to creep people out in the woods for no reason?  

The guys shrug their shoulders and both say we don’t know Noah says maybe 

Hes the monster in the urban legend Noah says, bill says dont be ridiculous 

The urban legend isnt true, if it was true more people would talk about it 

Not just the school kids were perrs too, i guess you have a point bill Skylar 

Says, were all going to that creek tonight bill says .What time Noah asks 

Whatever time our parents go to bed we will sneak out and meet at the creek 

Okay guys?  Noah and Skylar say echoing back fast forward to midnight when 

All the boys meet at the creek, bill is the only one that brought a flashlight it didn't even cross Skylar and Noah minds to bring one, bill says its okay just stay near me and we will 

Be alright, Noah asks did you bring you're dads gun i case we may have to use it of course 

Bill says i don't want to kill someone or something but its either them or us guys 

Just then they hear some noise bill says it just the wind dudes relax and Skylar 

Now says shhhh you guys hear that hear what? Noah and bill ask back. 

Just then the noises get louder and louder it sounds like someone walking in 

Their direction Noah takes the flashlight, and points it in that noisy direction, 

But they dont see anything now they hear something running towards Sklyar and 

Noah start screaming and saying shoot it bill shoot it just then we hear a shot, 

Nobody in this small town knows what happened that night in those woods 

And creek, the parents reported their children missing but to no avail 

The police found nothing at the woods or the creek, it was like they were never 

Ever there, Bill dad did report his gun stolen as far as the police is concern this 

Is still an open investigation, and the boys are still classified as missing 

Maybe one day we will find out what happened that night in those woods 

That night, there were also No witness reports no sightings who or what that was that Skylar saw that day
