Adventure Romance

I am Harper Rose, I am 17 and I am queen Alexandra's daughter. All my life, my mother would always make decisions on my behalf. She nor father would let me make my own choice. They would always choose everything, like what i'm going to eat, or wear or who I will marry in the future. You see, to me marrying someone must be out of love, and I would love to choose who I marry and not. But every time I tell mother she would always scoff, and say that I must be prim and proper. I must act like a lady and dress like one. She keeps telling me, that her and father will find the right suitor for me. But I just don't want to marry someone that I cannot choose. "Harper Mary Rose!" my mother screeched, "How dare you disobey father's and I's order. You must marry this suitor, and if you must not than father will make you marry your cousin." I scrunch my face at the thought of marrying my cousin. I would rather be homeless than marry that creature they so call my cousin. "But mother I don't want to marry one with no love. If I had a choice in the matter, I would choose someone who loved me!" I cry, "Nonsense dear child, when the time comes for you to marry, you can make the choice of where it would be held." and that was that. Knowing mother, she wouldn't hear of it. I get up and leave, I run to the royal garden, where my best friend Oliver, works. Oliver always had my back and i'm not going to lie, I actually have some feelings for him. Oh but heaven forbid if mother and father found out, they surely would kick him out of his job and make me stay in my room till my supposedly wedding. I sigh, "M'lady," Oliver says from behind me and bows. I scoff, "Oliver Jacobson, if I ever see or hear you don that again than I will surely stop talking to you." When I look at him he is trying to hold back a laugh. Oh how his laughs always make my heart flutter with joy. We link arms and begin to walk through the garden. I put my head on his shoulder "Mother and father found me a suitor, and said that if I didn't then they would force me to marry my cousin." I say trying to hide the tears that are about to spill. He looks at me, "what if you marry someone else?" Oliver asks, I look at him, "what do you mean by that?" than all of a sudden, Oliver stops and turns to face me. He looks me in the eyes and gets on one knee. "Harper Rose, I have loved you since the first day we met, and I will always love you, now would you make your first choice by making me the happiest man alive and do the honors of being my wife?" oh. my. god. my best friend is asking me to marry him. I could feel the tears run down my cheeks but not out of sadness but out of happiness. "Oliver Jacobson, as my first ever choice in my life, I will grant it to you, by doing the honors of being your wife. I say grinning ear to ear, and with that said he picks me up and spins we around. As the sun sets, we kiss. I take in every moment, "I love you Oliver" I whisper in his ear. "I love you too, Mrs. Jacobson." he says while kissing my cheeks. I loved how he said the "Mrs. Jacobson" it sounds cute. It was nearing dark and I had to leave before mother and father grew suspicious, "I must hurry, before they find us." I say while hugging my husband to be. "nonsense, you are my wife to be, you can stay with me. I have a cabin where we will be staying at." I love how Oliver says the last part, I can't wait to spend my life with the one I truly love. I can't believe I had made my very first choice.

As for years to come, Harper would make many choices for herself, first being marred to her loving husband. Than many years later she will be blessed with a baby boy. Who she and Oliver will call Blue. After she will have a little girl, named Ollie. for many years Harper will live the life she always wanted with her family. Her mother and father on the other hand, was not very happy with her choice and became quite angry. They had wish to never see nor speak to her again, and with that she was banished from the kingdom. But as years pass by she helps build a new home for her family and now provides by working at a bakery. At the age of 47 she dies from a flu, but her children still carry on and marry for love and have children of there own. Oliver decides to work as a black smith after his loving wife passes on. He will too join her at the age of 63, where they both meet up in a place called heaven where they sit hand in hand and watch there two grandchildren, Grace, Lila, and a new baby boy who is yet to come. After the little boy is born, they come back down to visit there children, and grandchildren. Oliver and Harper would always be together, even in the afterlife. Because that is true love. And love is so much more powerful than being a king or queen. Love is love and no one can change that. But love can fool and trick a person, but for Harper and Oliver there was no such thing. All there was, was pure love and nothing more or less. Oliver and Harper will always love each other no matter what.
