I woke up to the sound of rain. At first, I thought it was the rain noises I had put on to help me and my husband fall asleep but when I switch the TV off there was still raining dropping. I got up and opened the curtain a little to peek out our big window in the room and the rain was coming down. I jumped back and did a happy dance. My husband and I always loved rainy days we get together drinking hot cocoa and look at old photo albums and stuff like that.
Our son came into the room and I picked him up and he licked my face. I took him and jumped on the bed and crawled up to my husband and let our son wake him up. Roul soaked his face in saliva by the time he woke.
"Good morning babe! Guess what today is!" I stood up on the bed and threw my arms in the air. "ITS RAINY DAY!" I plopped down and kissed him. "We got so much to do! We can look at our albums its been a while! Oh and we can watch Titanic or The Notebook or both!" I pulled my jeans on and my husband came up behind me and hugged me. "Babe we don't have time we have so much to do!" I smiled as I held his hand around my waist. I turn around and wrap my arms around his neck.
"Ten minutes?" He whispered in my ear.
"You might be able to convince me," I said with a smile. We began to kiss and ten minutes later I was putting my boxers back on.
"Now come one its time for rainy day! First thing first! Breakfast!" My husband groans. "Get up!"
"I'm in too much pain." Ryan whines.
"It is not my fault you decided to be bottom today." I throw a shirt on and run into the kitchen. I turn on the radio on a music station and danced my way through the cooking. I spin around with two plates and land kiss on my husband's lips and set down his plate upfront of him.
"Your favorite today! My bacon, eggs and fluffy pancakes." My husband smiles and digs into the food. I smile happily as I watched him eat his food and sneak some to Roul. I ate my food joyously.
"Let me guess next is looking through albums?" Ryan says.
"Of course we are gonna go down memory lane." I whooped for joy. I grabbed them off the shelf and sat on a plush rug in the living room and laid on my stomach. I opened my favorite one immediately.
"Aww, abe its the picture from when we first met! At the LGBTQ Pride March!" In the picture, we were standing together with pride flags painted on our cheeks. He had his arm around my shoulder and we both had wide smiles. He was gorgeously tanned and wore sunglasses that made him look incredibly sexy.
"Babe you look sexy in sunglasses."
"And you look sexy in every color of the rainbow he said pointing at my rainbow shirt. I laughed and flipped the page.
"Look that's the picture of when we first adopted Roul!" Ryan said pointing at the picture of little puppy Roul. That was the second birthday present Ryan had gotten me on my 23rd birthday. He also proposed to me. "Oh, look that is the picture when I proposed to you!" Ryan said smiling. We were on a beach and Ryan was kneeling down in white shorts and you guessed it a white shirt. Oh yeah and remember those sexy sunglasses? Oh yeah, they were there too. After we walked through that and some wedding photos we decided to watch Titanic.
"Paint me like one of your french girls Jack!" I said dramatically mimicking Rose.
"Hmm try saying it sexier and I will." Ryan was actually an artist and loved doing private sketches of me. I walked up to him and racked my hair back.
"Paint me like one of your french girls Jack!" I said in a deeper voice and Ryan bit his lip. I pulled away.
"Anyways how about some hot cocoa!? Then we can watch The Notebook!" I made the cocoa and put mini marshmallows and pounced back to Ryan and Roul. I sit beside Ryan with my feet on his lap with Roul curled up into his other side. I cradled my warm cocoa and sipped it.
"Ouch!" I yelped. Ryan was startled and pulled me by the waist towards him.
"Are you alright baby?" I smiled at how much he cared.
"I'm fine. I Love you so much, Ryan." I said with a smile. He smiled back at me warmly.
"I love you too. I mean why else would I marry you?"
"Great sex?" I chuckled.
"True." He bit his lip and looked me up and down. I smacked him on the chest laughing.
"You are so dirty."
"But you still love me."
"Dirty and all." I looked up at him and he gave me a gentle kiss. I smiled and leaned my head back down and watched the movie with my family.
"Whats next Babe?" I asked after we finished watching The Notebook.
"How about..ooo board games!"
"Perfect what one should we do!?"
"Wait I have a better idea!"
"What could be better than board games?'
"Let's go in the rain."
"Oh my gosh, are you serious? You never wanted to go in the rain before." Ryan nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me to the front door. He slips on his converse and I slip on mine. He takes my hand and pulls me into the rain. It was pouring but not downpouring. We ran in the middle of our driveway smiling and laughing. I held my arms out, faced my face upwards and spun around in the rain.
"You know I remember something from when we were 16 when we were looking through the pictures."
"What was that," I asked as I continued to spin. e grabbed my hand and spun me into him.
"You wanted a kiss in the rain. IKt was on your bucket list." I looked at him through a blurry vision not only because of the rain but also because my eyes were tearing up. He remembered that? He pulled me in closer and I leaned towards him and he kissed me in the rain like those romance movies. Like I said Rainy Days are the Best days.
