Yes, the change from the old to the new came suddenly. It was a loss for some and a gain for many who knew and just let it happen.
It was seen as a time for the more modern and better, but they were not fooled until later. The ones who were aware of such a change that they thought it would be the best thing to happen in one's lifetime.
With each generation the changes take place, and the present group of people scoff at the old timers. The present generation is not aware of the changes, removing all the memories of the past to make room for the changes.
Then the changes start to turn a short-lived joy into a living nightmare. It brings about the obsolete to become relic and outdated.
This happened with the silent movies becoming talkies. The 8-track was converted into cassettes, then the cassettes removed to make way for the CDs.
The TV silenced the radio, then the video made the radio almost outdated. The LP/record became CDs and then cable, and the internet went from three basic channels to millions of channels that allowed you to watch shows and movies from all over the world, along with the internet beginning with dial-up to Wi-Fi and ethernet that took the world by storm.
The changing of the guard caused many nations that once respected us to become less dependent on us. The former Third World countries and ones with no knowledge of technology are beginning to lead us in all areas of society.
The powers in place that once held a light for those lost were replaced with robots, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and more voices than once thought could fit inside a paranoid drug addict's mind.
The very idea of using a rotary phone gave way to the push button phone which made way for the cell phone. It was the first mobile phone in one's car, then it was handheld devices, then it was beepers, then it was large bills and few minutes.
Speaking about cars, there was a CB radio that allowed you to contact anyone if they had one too. The walkie talkie was only for short distances, along with the idea of making it easier to communicate, and to stay connected.
The internet has made it easier for many to chat and spend time with family and friends, but this allows other unsavory people to find ways to misuse the internet, for who knows what and to try to make others' lives unsafe and more miserable.
Movies have become less than heartfelt works of art. They are made with only the dollar sign in mind and have become one- sided. Big companies that once focused on only one thing have merged to give us multiple useless droll movies that make no sense and are always anime or worse mindless creations that draw us into the idiot boxes visions.
First there was buy on credit, then there was put on layaway, then there was buy now pay later. "How deep in debt does one have to go before they are willing to sell their souls for that new flat screen TV?"
The church which once was small and useful has given away to the megachurch, where the pastor stands in front of many members and has no idea who any of them are. The televangelist on TV has taken place the actual attending church, where the in-person event is more about who gives the most money so they can be recognized as one of the chosen few.
The organizations that once made sure you were taken care of are replaced by the dial up and talk to the doctor on Televideo, instead of in person where they can see your problem and diagnose it properly.
Mental Health has taken a licking and keeping on getting you to share your thoughts, hopes and dreams, while you talk and share your inner deepest darkest secrets to a total stranger.
Lawmakers who make up their own laws, squander and steal your money, are elected or buy their way into politics and then expect you to donate to them even though you do not have money and have no job, no house, and no hope for the future.
The cell phone allows unwanted spam, scam, fraud and ram down your throat about calls from auto insurance (even though you do not own a vehicle) to the millions of either you won a million dollars or the help me with a bus ticket so I can come to you and rob you blind literally.
The fraud on seniors is astronomical and frightening. The fraud by those overseas is horrific in all forms and fashions. And bitcon (I mean bitcoin) really now, fake currency that cannot be traced and leaves no paper trail, unlike the dollar bill, which can be easily counterfeited on many levels and in any denomination, hint no more 1,000-dollar bill and no more 500-dollar bills either.
It takes more 100s to make up what was easier with the five hundred and the 1,000-dollar bills, but no one cares about whose pockets will be lined up with the various amounts that make holding the bag heavier.
And finally, last but not least, the deficit of this country. How many times can we be indebted to those countries that hate us and never gave a shit about us in the first place. We keep asking them to send us more materials to make cars go and to build us crap and more junk items that we feel we really need.
"How stupid can anyone believe that we are in need of more than one car or one pair of headphones or anything that we need just because it is on sale or is just so cute in the color that we see in one store?"
The media is as biased, and ass ended for sure. They want you to buy more and want you to need to buy more all the time, even if you do not actually need it or want to buy it.
The media has changed as well. It is more one-sided and fuller of bullshit with no heart and no soul to allow it to have a conscience, to tell it when to shut up and stop talking.
The media along with all the other forms of conversation and communication are owned by the ones who want to dull your senses and remove your will to fight the good fight.
The big bobble head desk jockeys are in charge, and they dare you to stand up to them against their 3,000 dollar an hour lawyers who want to pay you off to keep you quiet.
Sad but true, this has become the goal to obtain. Pride, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Lust, Wrath. They are the ones who make us quit and be content with the Tame Master guiding you as you fall further from grace and common sense.
