Once again the battle began between the parents and their only child with the flow of dissenting opinions of the 17 year old child who felt that her words, her feelings were repeatedly being buried underneath. "You are the reason for my dreadful condition, for who I am today. Everyday I grew up seeing you two, every bad quality I have, you are the reason for it." Her rage outshines her teary eyes with her cheeks puffed up. Furious, she takes the bedsheet and with all her energy, begins to tear it apart. Mom and dad stand in awe questioning their upbringing. Indeed they had flaws, they thought to themselves. The child in her futile attempt to tear the bedsheet outbursts and all her actions reflect through her parents' eyes. The worst child ever, she thought to herself. As her rage calms down she contemplates and cries. For each word in her defense was an attack on her parents. Helpless, she cried and cried, then found herself on the bed with a blanket. She knew that she indeed was the worst, but was lucky enough to get two loving parents. Had she not been in this situation today, she wouldn't have realized who she truly was, who her parents were for her. She dearly loved them but didn't utter a word, not even a sorry, her self-importance, ego flew higher than her guilt. Then and the she decided to never behave the same way she did that day. Little did she know, her life was full of conflicts with her parents. Days went by. The family began to forget all the bad memories of their fight. Dad bought the kid a new headset. The kid was happy and promised to herself to keep her parents happy, forever. Then again one day, it began. They fought over even the minutest possible thing the could. Maybe they easily became upset with sheer situations. Maybe they needed some fresh air. Some time alone, apart from each other. So they did. The kid went to a picnic with her friends and dad went to the banks of the river to calm himself. Mom had her best time alone in the house. After getting some fresh air, away from each other for a few moments, they were better. Maybe we should afterall give ourselves some privacy to make things work once again as they used to. Yet, fights had no end, but the familywas used to it. Sometimes fights between the parents created a disturbing atmosphere for the girl. Seeing her parents struggle to keep things together broke her inside. Then again the same cycle continues-patch up, conflicts. They still loved each other but couldn't find a solution to this cycle. They had to deal with it. Humans make mistakes. The family had each each other to point them out. Turns out, they each had thus nitpicking and pedantic nature and each would say something to in their defense. Again days, weeks, went by. Mom had slight pain in her throat which grew harsher daily. They were worried. Dad took Mom to the hospital daily fir tests. During this time they realized they need each other. Love cannot be expressed with just words, sone minor gestures are enough to melt our hearts. During these days the child did all the chores of the house without uttering a single word out of irritation. Reports came out, everything was fine. The mother had some minor gastric issues. They took the breath of relief. This was their life, they were not really happy to fight every now and then but could adjust with each other. But after each quarrel, their bonds grew stronger, they were like friends who questioned each others mistakes and flaws. Maybe this is how their relationship was meant to be. Not so sweet, but full of love which was not expressed, but felt through their actions. When her mother had a terrible headache, by-default her hand went to massage her mom's head, just to make her feel better. When her dad had teeth problems, she cooked soft and liquid foods. Just actions were enough to ensure that they had love for each other in their hearts. This is not the ideal relationship a book would show or a movie would film, but this is what she was happy with. Her parents were everything for the child and she was everything for her parents. Every child feels they are not understood by their parents and they are right. On the other hand, parents always feel they are right. But there should be a level of understanding between the two generations. Each member is a part of the family and what makes them a family us their bond. Bond between the child and parents are created ever since parents know of the presence of a new life in their lives. They give everything, sacrificing every wish for their child, but the other side, the child also does her best when it comes to make her parents happy, after acquiring the basic senses one should to gain the knowledge of the world and the surroundings. This bond is a beautifully heavenly bond which no one should ever think about ruining. A parent is born on the same day as that of the child. Each of them grow in their own roles be it a parent or a child, so does their love with each moment together or not. The filial bond is the purest bond anyone can imagine, filled with innocence, annoyance for one another in a graceful way and care. But tgen comes a day, when every part falls into place in their relationship, but a new spark of love enters the childs heart. Parents realize their child is no more a child, not a kid anymore. Their eyes moist and their hearts pounding in happiness for their kids life, her happiness and sorrow for they are no longer going to spend their lives together, with each other. Memories begin to float in front of their eyes, reminiscence of each moment together. But they have to let go of their only princess, their sweetheart, their world. Every word is less to descrive tgeir love for their child. The child feels the same way. She recollects how she used to promise herself that she would never get married and stay with her parents forever, and ever and ever. But things don't go the same way as planned, do they? Bidding their farewells to each other, the parents and the child or the grown up lady went to begin her new life. Teary eyes, smile on her face she hugged her parents. Parents embracing their child, wiping the tears off her face. Their relation with each other grew stronger. They knew, those daily quarrels were no more going to invade the silent atmosphere. No more, were there going to be annoying fights, getting irritated at each other, no more thoughts of getting some time alone. Yearning for each other. Their lives took a turn. The only thing which remained consistent and will forever remain consistent is their love.
