Adventure Coming of Age Crime

Rock the Boat.

Sink the Ship.

All sides being equal.

It.

Seldom works.

Hurts even.

When and How.

Forced.

Coercion

Forced relays and delays

A square peg in a round hole.

Looking to find their place in a world that has gone mad.

A world that has gone mad.

Sydney Smith in “On the Conduct of the Understanding” opined:

”If you choose to represent the various parts in life by holes upon a table, of different shapes,—some circular, some triangular, some square, some oblong,—and the person acting these parts by bits of wood of similar shapes, we generally find that the triangular person has got into the square hole, the oblong into the triangular, and a square person has squeezed himself into the round hole. The officer and the office, the doer and the thing done, seldom fit so exactly, that we can say they were almost made for each other”.

Good Boss.

Bad Boss.

You are the boss of you and always will be. Remember that either group you choose to joint—in a group or going solo.

You are the boss of you.

Bullies. Idiots. Back-stabbers. Back-scratchers. First Cousins. Seconds Cousins. Third Cousins. So-called “Distant “ Cousins.

Sometimes insidious attempts are used to forced the square peg in and make it stick.

And. Many times. Not.

Cautious optimism.

Open-minded skepticism.

Both used in the impractical and potential practiced workability of disease.

And it is a disease.

An insidious disease.

Looks like.

Like looks

Looks good.

Good looks.

Insidious.

Thinking of going to live in a pineapple under the sea. Real soon.

Rock the Boat. sink the ship.

Yep. Nope.

Will not give any more hints to give you the opportunity to force me to go down. And you to go up.

Sejong the Great of Korea commented, in 1443, that using Chinese characters for Korean was “like trying to fit a square handle into a round hole.” So much so, Sejong created a new Korean alphabet, known as Hangul. it is the modern official writing system for the Korean language.

IE. : Looks like.

Like looks.

Looks good.

Good looks.

You can run but you cannot hide.

The truth eeekes out. in a quiet whisper. Or a fit of rage.

Literal literacy is important.

Morally Philosophizing the ins and outs.

For example:

Dutch Settlers in northeastern North Americansometimes actually pounded square-cut legs into round holes when building in the 1800s.(wk)

Ouch.

Perhaps they failed to mention this in the Real Estate transactional inspection🤨

A common method of securing the steel rail of railway track into timber sleepers is to drive a square-cut dogspike into. Pre-drilled round hole.

Sounds rather complicated.

Another literal expresssion of squeeze is during the Apollo 13 space mission, an oxygen tank explosion left the Command Module Odyssey uninhabitable.

Uninhabitable. Another epic failure of that forced real estate inspection.

Firther with the explosion of the oxygen tank, Ground Control put together a team with the objective to find a way to use only items available to make the situation eventually useable.

Sounds insidiously dishonest.

You do whatcha gotta do.

You are always the boss of you. Really.

You can run, but you cannot hide.

Be in it for the long haul or do not be in it at all.

There is right.

There is wrong.

Stubbornness eeks its way into the equation from time to time.

Stand your ground.

Good and evil exist.

They do exist.

Right and wrong.

Virtue and Vice

Justice and crime

It is what you value and lest you look the other way too quickly.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself. (AWA). Because life can get difficult. very difficult. Sometime the best one can do is just try and make it through the day, the month, the summer.

If you value the persons in your life.

This simply does not work.

Ethics are that which lie under the surface. Of all individuals.

Good persons.

Evil persons.

Character is the ability to carry out a good resolution long after the excitement of the moment has passed.

A lie has speed, but truth has endurance.

With or without eye contact and a so called friendly “hello”.

Per Cambridge, the word “ethics” is commonly used interchangeably with “amorality”…sometimes it is used to mean the moral principles of a particular tradition, group,,or individual.

IE: You are the boss of you. Always. Everywhere. Everyday.

This does not mean you will not blow a stack, possibly sink a ship in the process. It will wholeheartedly depend on who is in your corner of the four squares. Of what you hold near and dear. Largely depend on who is in your corner of the four squares really.

Bugs insidiously dive bond from all the corners anyway. Best be prepared. Keep your wits. Keep your own wits. No one else will.

The values and morals of other are theirs and theirs alone and they do what they do because they do what they do. Getting into a row with them may leave you paddling desperately. Alone.

Which remember is not a bad thing. Evil lies in the most beautiful of beings. Or so called beautiful of beings.

Looks like.

Likes look.

Good looks.

Looks Good.

May get you in the door…….Psychological egoism has a way of heightening the motivations and self interests, the selfishness in us all.

Resist. You are the boss of you. We all espouse to seek pleasure and avoid pain. immediate gratification can be sacrificed.,For a greater, future pleasure.(wk)

Or so one may think.

Theories exist. You must decide. Some explain behavior motivated by self-interest without using pleasure and pain as the final causes of behavior.

Ouch.

And.

Ouch.

Again.

”This is most obvious in the animals other than man: they make things neither by art nor after inquiry or deliberation. That is why people wonder whether it is by intelligence or by some other faculty that these creatures work,—spiders, ants, and the like…..It is absurd to suppose that purpose is not present because we do not observe the agent deliberating. Art does not deliberate. If the ship building art were in the wood, it would produce the same results by nature. If, therefore purpose is present in the art, it is also present in nature.” Aristotle.

Ouch! of and to the human condition.

Thank you wholeheartedly good dog.
