Why is it always like this?
“First my popsicle melted, now I got to deal with this brat. Tch, out of all the people in this stupid mansion, why me,”?
Next to the man, was a little kid who was about 6 years old.
“Alright look kid, I’m your combat teacher. I’ll be teaching you to fight and how to kill if need be. The names five, like the number,”.
“Five, that’s a funny name,”.
“Pfft, you should have heard my original name,” I flicked my popsicle toward the floor.
“If I tell you my name, can you tell me your original name,”?
“I already know your name Zak but if you can beat me in training, then I’ll tell you my original name,”.
Zak’s eyes lit up, “REALLY,”!
“Yeah, tomorrow we start training, so be ready,”.
“Five, Mr. Vilé has called for you,”.
“Ah Serna, good timing I’m done with Zak for now, so do what you want with him,”.
“Mmmm I’m surprised Mr. Vilé lets you talk about his son that way,”.
“I’m surprised Vilé let me train his son. You know how I train people,”!
I threw my hand up and let it fall to my side, as a sort of goodbye. Though what is going through Vilé’s mind when he tells me to train Zak. He himself knows how I teach people, does he want me…
“FIVE, HELLO,”!
“Huh, oh Mrs. Tope hello,”. Mrs. Tope is a nice old lady. I wonders if she has any brownies.
“My lord, I was calling and calling you but you never answered. You were looking at your feet, I was scared you were going to run into a wall,”!
I laughed “Sorry if I worried you, just lost in thought I guess. Anyways what’s up,”?
Mrs. Tope sighed “You young people and your wandering minds. I was wondering if you could help me carry these flower arrangements to the ballroom. Tch, you would think they would put an old lady in charge of carrying these heavy things,” she shook her head.
“I was just on the way to go talk to Vilé, he wants to talk to me about something,”.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Go on ahead then, it’s best not to keep him waiting,” Mrs. Tope smiled and pushed me toward a hallway.
“Or, hear me out, I just help you and go to him when I’m done. Huh huh I like that idea,” I turned and headed for the plants.
Mrs. Tope shook her head, it’s funny how she didn’t even try to argue with me, because she knew I would help her instead. It brings me great joy when Vilé gets mad.
I took the flowers to the ballroom and she gave me brownies. GOD, I love this woman's brownies. “Can I have another one,”?
Mrs. Tope chuckled and gave me another. I gave her my goodbyes and went to Vilé. I wonder how mad Vilé will be? Meh, who cares.
I walked into Vilé’s office and oh did he look pissed. Serna was also here too. Wow, she looks pissed, but when doesn’t she.
“Serna, here so fast! Aren’t you a good celestial,” I smiled which made her even more mad.
“You know Five it’s twenty minutes since I called you. It’s not like you got lost,” Vilé said.
I walked over to the bookshelf and leaned against it “yeah, we’ll you know. A leaf was in my path so I had to find another way here,”. The room fell quiet. “What not a good enough answer. Anyway my navigation isn’t why you called me here is it,”.
“No it’s not,” Vilé slid papers across the desk towards me. “Andrew Yew is back, and the client wants him to stay in the Watile club, permanently,”.
“The papers give all the necessary information for you to do your mission. The client would prefer if you could make it as slow and painful as you could, but if need arises execute immediately,” Serna handed the papers to me.
“How powerful is he,”I asked?
“His family is the ones who own the Saitwena company,” Vilé said as he got up to pour drinks.
“Wow, the Saitwena company, they're pretty famous. Which means that the sericuity is strong. An enemy out of them would be bad,”.
Vilé handed me a drink “If we get caught, plus it would also be good for Static. True Saitwena is a well-known company, they don’t even match our numbers, but you never know,”.
“Andrew Yew is one of investors of the Saitwena company. Assuming he has yet to write a will stating all of his money will continue to go into the company, the company would have to ask other sponsors for more money, lift their prices on all their merchandise, causing people to stop buying. Making the company reach out for help,” Serna said while pouring three shots.
“Giving Static a reason to invest. Taking the company inside out. Tch you know you are scary sometimes,”.
Vilé chuckled, the three of us drank the drink then took the shot.
“I’m on in and I also wanted to talk about why I’m training Zak,”.
“We’ll talk after your mission,”
“Sigh, you're the boss,” I threw my hand up and left. First the kid, now this, why can’t I just eat a popsicle in peace. I went to my room where I read up about Andrew Yew. Two and a half hours had passed when my alarm for dinner went off.
I was heading to the kitchen when I felt like I was being watched. I obviously didn’t stop walking and whoever this was, didn't know how to hide themselves.
I was at the kitchen doors when Zak jumped out and yelled “BOO! Hahahahaha did I scare you, I bet I did,” he smiled really big.
I walked into the cafeteria and motioned him to follow me. “Zak, Zak, Zak, I knew you were following me since I left my room. It was really obvious,” I grabbed a plate.
“Well, then can you teach me,”?
“Maybe,”.
“Oh come on! You can teach me right now! Please please please please pleas…,”
“LOOK! I’m about to eat, so I’ll teach you tomorrow,”.
Zak put his head down and started fidgeting.
“God damni… Sen can you put my food to go,”.
“Yeah no problem Five,”.
Zak looked up and smiled.
“I’ll train you today but I’m going to see exactly how strong you are and from there I’ll decide what to do next, get it,”.
“Yes sir,” Zak's smile grew bigger.
