Kids

Growing up in a childhood home, you’ve lived there your entire life, never finding anything to weird about the house. Living in the house where your parents had you and your other 2 siblings who were very adventurous. As a child you never really seemed to curious as to finding out if there was something about your house that no one else has noticed. but as  your older you start to notice weird things about your house. Like the fact that there is a a built in laundry chute that takes you all the way down to the dark and scary basement. But you also notice that there is a door, a door that is connected to a stair case, leading up to the attic that you never see anyone go into. Out of the 16 years you’ve lived in that house, you have never really noticed that there was that door, you’ve never seen your siblings or your parents enter the door, so you were curious. So one night while your parents were fast asleep, you wake up your brother and sister to tell them that there something weird about that door, so they wake up out their sleep to go with you. You open the door slowly, you look up and you see the darks stairs. Your sister tries to back out but you convince her to come along. She agrees to keep going but you can still hear the fear in her voice, hearing it tremble as the words slowly spill from her mouth. You were also very nervous because all you could think was what if there are monsters or worse, SPIDERS! You couldn’t help but think negative. Then your brother said what if there’s treasure, but treasure in a old house? No way!! That couldn’t have been true. So you guys slowly walked up the stairs, hearing them creaking, scared that you guys were going to wake up your parents. You guys walk more up the stairs, you feel a gust of wind blow through your hair. You use your flashlight to look around. Not finding anything to harsh or scary up there. So you start to loosen up, being less worried that a zombie or a mummy is going to eat you guys. Then you guys find a necklace. Something about the necklace was sketchy. Not knowing if you removed the necklace from the post, your family will be cursed. Your brother removes the necklace and you feel the house start to tremble, what you’re thinking is an earthquake was just the curse being released upon the whole house. You guys run down the stairs scared still believing it was a earthquake to then realize nothing downstairs was shaking. You were wondering why did that happen. Why would the attic shake and not the rest of the house? You guys went back to your rooms, getting ready to go to sleep thinking your parents would wake up, then the next day came. You went up to your parents and asked them if they felt that last night. They had a puzzled on their faces, very confused so they asked what were you talking about. You told nothing and you went about your day, still wondering how they didn’t feel that last night. You were so very curious as to why they didn’t feel that last night. But what could you have done? While your mom was cooking, she some how managed to blow a fuse and burn the chicken. You and your siblings looked at each other wondering why was that happening, You just figure that she was having a hard day so you guys didn’t pay mind to it. Then later on in that day you guys decided you were going to get ice cream, and oh boy, that was a disaster. On your way over to the Ice cream shop you guys got pulled over. The officers said you were speeding so he gave you a ticket and you guys continued to drive. You guys arrived at the shop and you order your ice cream. Strawberry with sprinkles, until. You spilt it all over yourself. You were very upset, you figured it was just cause you were clumsy. As the day went on you started to notice how a lot of bad things were happening to your family. Then in the middle of the night, you notice something glowing, you go over to check and it’s the necklace. You couldn’t help but wonder if that is the reason everything is happening to your family. but you save it for the morning. When you wake up you try to get rid of the necklace, first you throw it out, it somehow reappeared back in your room. You threw it in a pond, it reappeared back in your room. You’ve tried so many times to throw out that necklace but it’s almost as if it’s stuck to you. You think to yourself that maybe getting rid of that necklace wouldn’t be as easy as you though it would be. More and more as the days go on your experiencing more bad luck. So you go one day to see a fortune teller. She starts by telling you how your life before the necklace came alone you lived a very great and adventurous life, but she believes you’ve unleashed nothing but bad luck upon your whole family. You ask her what you can do to restore your luck, she tells you a riddle. “To restore your fate, you must return what you shouldn’t take”. Then you through to yourself, what did you take. what is it that you need to do to help your family. Then you think to your self. THE NECKLES! you need to return the necklace. but how? then you remembered the attic, you need to return the necklace back to the attic. Later on in that night, you wait for your parents to go to sleep and you head to that door by your self, hoping that if you return that necklace your family will be okay. You start to head up to the attic and you find where you got the necklace from, as you put it back, the shaking starts to come back. “This must be it” as you think to yourself. Then you return back downstairs. You head to bed and wait for morning. As you are waking up you smell bacon cooking downstairs. Thinking to yourself that nothing hasn’t gone wrong. You believe the curse is gone, now you life is back to normal, who would’ve known that a little necklace can make someone’s life so hard.

Liked the story. Quite a few “you guys”. Maybe more interesting to rephrase somehow. Keep writing
