CONFRONTATION

She tells him to spend the weekend, starting from Friday evening to Sunday evening, with his son. Since she has been taking care to their son constantly, and needs to invests that time on an opportunity she found online.

After overthinking it, he accepts, signing the deal with a sentimental kiss taking place in the hallway in front of their son, the 5 year-old boy stares at them confused, while his father briefly explains that he extremely loves his mother and a “mouth kiss” is a perfect demonstration of true love. The boy nods in agreement as he thinks in someone who he could share such a feeling.

The man dresses in his usual white shirt with a black tie under a black suit accompanied by black pants with black socks and black shoes, and also dresses his son with his resemblance, the only difference being the substitution his black tie for a red one.

His fiancée leaves the house not without receiving a warm kiss from Armand Bedienstete. The man calls his son to leave for school, he is intercepted outside by a companion of five black cars stopping their motion at unison, from which their leader, a tall African American man who emerges from one of the vehicles escorted by other six armed associates, all of the men dressed in black. The tall man tells Bedienstete to enter the car with them. He refuses, as they are in violation of personal life intrusion. The tall man politely apologizes revealing his name given, Angestellter, offering transportation and housing for the undefined operation time period, adding that the incident is really important and requires careful attention. Armand Bedienstete accepts and presses a button from his cell phone to initiate a permanent lockdown into his house, expecting his Love to not arrive before he does, therefore, not having to give further explanations.

Once they arrive to Armand’s son’s school, his father tells the boy: “Daddy needs to go to work now. Make your best version every day.” He ends the statement to his son by kissing his forehead, and allowing the future man to run into the institution.

“It is a very nice school.” Comments Angestellter, referring to the contemporary structure and enforced uniform etiquette that provides the image of an elite institution of study. He interrupts asking for the details pertaining to the mission he was summoned to. The other man sighs in anguish, as he walks with him handing the files of the operation.

Once inside the car, Armand convinces Angestellter that the operation’s success relies only on the consistent resistance, asking for the complete access to the surveillance system. The tall man disagrees by moving his head from left to right, saying that no other exterior influence can gain access to their security surveillance system, its private.

Armand insists that in order for everyone to survive the brawl they trust and work together. Angestellter finally agrees to his petition, commanding his men to terminate Mr. Bedienstete if he dares to betray their confidence placed. Both share a long and an intense sight, that is disturbed by a member of security indicating his superior of their arrival to the Corporation.

He and the men unite in the meeting room for an immediate response, the Corporation’s President welcomes all of them, and briefly explains the upcoming threat, the presentation lasts less than ten minutes, making clear not to discuss the issue again, not until it is completely fulfilled.

Armand and Angestellter leave the room, and Armand invites his colleague to his house to plan a strategy, but first stop to save his son. Meanwhile, in the institution, the boy exits the main doors of the school as the audible announcement dismisses students, and sits on a seldom area of the yellow stairs that allows him to view the cars passing the street. A blonde green-eyed girl with a necklace finely decorated with a red spider walks by complementing the elegant display of the red tie of him, usually the students wear a black tie; he smiles in return to the complement.

The companion of black cars arrive raising a red flag as a symbol to reunite, the boy tells her to reveal her name, she replies with a delicate and warmly voice: Anastasia.

The boy gently greets the girl, formally, adding his name, Raghnall. Establishing a solid friendship beginning, Raghnall tells her he must leave and will see her next day, she understands, and starts walking towards the vehicles. Both share a sight before he enters the car, noticing that she starts to waive her left hand, and replicates the action following a smile. And with a happy heart enters the car greeting his father and colleague with the hand.

They decide to restrict all communication related to the operation, during the rest of the trip, due to his son’s presence.

Back in home. The man deactivates the house sealing feature installed earlier, and invites everyone inside, guiding them to the bog living room, the boy is told to be in his room. He obeys his father, and quickly, runs for completing the school requirements.

In the living room, Angestellter, makes a remark of the beauty and mystique found in the house. Bedienstete continues from where they left last time. There is a man who initiated a complaint, involving connections with chemists and scientists who develop armament to protect its country and facility, which is false. And in the beginning of the month, escalated to a formal demand, but is bound because of insufficient proofs. This person is also in the great desire to sink the Corporation forever, as he is one of the global competitors. It is believed that his next movement would be an invasion of property and seizure of data.

Armand suggests to invade first since that is the only way to avoid “all of the above mentioned,” Angestellter criticizes the idea, claiming that it could direct into a war among Corporations, because the other party is connected with other Corporations and parties that are provides a broad range of supplies, including belligerent armament.

“Well then! Let them attack first!” suggests the boy. Armand condemns his son for listening to their private conversations, during which Angestellter takes advantage to acclaim Raghnall’s idea a brilliant one. By allowing them to enter as expected, they will at the same time be providing with sufficient evidence to file a lawsuit for intrusion. Inviting Raghnall to join them, the boy becoming man as his father used to recall him, sits to the left side of his father and continue pouring more incentives as demand grows.

Raghnall tells the men that his father must have access to the security surveillance systems of the Corporation, hence, having the complete control to exercise a military operation as needed once the militia men arrive. Angestellter asks if they should send him the special human resources, Bedienstete denies as it would become a liability to lose talented people, implying that few exist in this world; Armand suggests using the Automated Annihilation Array Army (A.A.A.A.) due to the ever growing supply of androids they constantly produce. Angestellter approves the decision, and wants him to monitor closely the situation on Saturday evening.

Armand Bedienstete: “This night?!”

Angestellter: “Correct. Time is precious.”

Armand prepares himself, telling his son to refuge in the bunker with all of the life necessities. Raghnall lets him know that he already arranged everything. He then asks about his homework, and is also mentioned about its successful completion. Highlighting that he will wisely invest his time preparing for incoming assessments.

Angestellter smirks as he remembers his son who passed away due to an army mission. “He inherited his father’s great quality” Angestellter comments to Armand.

Armand Bedienstete: “Yes…, he is.”

As Armand and Raghnall say give their farewell and personal wishes. Raghnall goes locks himself inside the bunker. Armand and the men exit the house, and he reactivates the lockdown feature, hoping that Amara, his Love, and fiancée, never discovers about it.

In the Corporation he is given the complete authorization for resource usage at his sole discretion. The men leave him alone, saying that they will be close with more men, if the situation requires. He nods in agreement and locks himself in the Surveillance and Security System office, located in the tenth and last floor, awaiting for the enemy presence.

The situation remains silent until he receives a phone call alerting him that a yellow van was spotted illegally entering the Corporation’s boundaries. Bedienstete appreciates the information, activating the androids.

Through the cameras he identifies 19 mercenary men, 19 mercenary men that are about to regret this encounter.
