Three princesses on a raft

'We've been stranded for a week , ' grumbled , Beauty pouting . And we still have'nt reached land . ' Cinderella nodded sullenly . 'I bargained for travelling to the human world , not this , ' she muttered .'Oh ,cheer up ! ' Snow white exclaimed . 'Ella has more experience working than me , but she's still as sullen as ever ! '. They rode up a wave and down , and then saw the most welcome sight of all - 'Land ! ' Beauty cheered . But suddenly the raft stopped moving . There was a shipwreck blocking their way ! . 'I'll have to call grandmother , ' said Cinderella . 'Think dreary , doomed thoughts ! ' . That was very hard , considering they had reached land , but they did . Cinderella thought of the time her stepmother had locked her in the basement ['Now THAT's a new concept ! ' thought Charles Perrault gleefully ] , Snow white thought of the time she was in her coffin [ 'oo tiny for a princess !',though she ] and Beauty thought of the time when she had first met the beast [ 'Hey! ' grumbled the-beast-which-is-now-a-prince] . The godmother appeared , as shiny as always in her lilac coloured dress . 'What is it now ? ' she yelled . 'Last time you called me because the apples Snow White's elves had brought her were bitten by a woodland caterpillar [ 'It was'nt an apple , ' Beauty whispered into Beauty's ears , 'I quite lost my fondness for them after the queen . ] , Then because your Cinderella shoe got wet and when Beast got stuck in the brambles ! ' . Cinderella waved her hand . 'Forget all that ! We just need to find a way to cross this shipwreck ! ' . 'Go around it , ' mumbled the godmother in a gruff voice . 'Easy! ' . 'Swells,'said Snow White . 'Oh fine .' The godmother tapped their heads with her wand . 'Now you can swim underwater . ' 'UNDERWATER?!' . 'With the sharks and fish ?!I'm not Aquaman ! 'wailed Beauty .But the godmother had disappeared . Anyhow , they HAD to get to the island . So they jumped into the water . They could breathe all right;the godmother had kept her word . But the water was deep , dark and murky . But it all payed off when they saw the sea life ! Glowing jellyfish floated in the water . Tiny and big fish swam around colourful coral . Whales chased krill , emitting their supersonic sounds . Finally Beauty placed a hand on the sandy shore . 'Land , 'she breathed . The girls climbed onto the shore . They lay down immediately [except Snow White , she had ran off to find some fallen wood and food . ] 'We should have wished that we were back in the city , ' said Cinderella , slapping her head with her palm and adjusting her soaked BADDIE t-shirt .'That was so foolish ! ' . Beauty grunted a reply , mopping her face with her handkerchief . They heard huffing and puffing , so they turned around . Snow White stood , triumphantly dragging a bundle of logs wrapped in strong vine and a bunch of fruits - bananas , oranges,apples['Not for me , apples ,' said Snow White hurriedly ] dates,grapes , kiwi and pomegranate . The other two princesses were about to attack the fruit but Snow White stopped them . 'Nuh - uh - uh ,' she said , waving her finger . First you two have to help me make a place to sleep ! ' . They made a small kind of hut with no wall on one side . 'The floor's hard ! 'complained Beauty . Cinderella had pulled out a whole stock of dry leaves,and had braided them into mats ['My time at stepmom's did teach me something ,you know ! 'she said , placing them on the floor . 'Beauty , do you still have that sack of extra clothes you were holding before we fell of that ship ?' .[ Oh , you did'nt know ! The princesses were on a summer holiday cruise but fell off the ship when it rode a huge wave - they found a piece of wood as used it as a raft ] . Beauty grinned . 'Yup ! And its dry , the cloth of the bag is THAT thick ! ' . They took turns changing in the hut [Cinderella had put up a braided curtain on the open wall ]and sat down to eat on yet ANOTHER braided mat ['Where does she get them from ?'marvelled Cinderella ] . They ate the fruits hungrily and spent the rest of the evening playing volleyball with a coconut ['One point ! 'said Beauty gleefully as her ball hit the top of a palm tree and fell back down through the leaves .Soon the stars sparkled and the girls went to sleep - the only sound was their rhythmic snoring . Cinderella woke up first . She quickly had a bath in a clear pond near the place Snow White had picked the fruits from and changed into new clothes . When she got back , the other girls were dressed and ready , and Snow White was plucking dates from a palm tree . 'Breakfast , she said , passing a bunch each to the princesses . They decided to go exploring . There was a cliff near the mini-forest , and they decided to go hiking there [they had to find something to do !] . They reached the bottom and climbed , keeping their feet on the stable crevices . They discovered a cave full off stalagmites and stalactites . They spent the rest of the day exploring , and reached their hut just as the sky turned black . They soon fell fast asleep . At around 12 : 30 or 1 , the girls heard a loud horn and woke up , sweating . 'Look ! ' Beauty exclaimed . A cruise ship was riding along the island . They needed to signal it to rescue them . 'A fire ! ' said Snow white . They quickly gathered wood , and Snow white used a bottle of campfire oil she had found floating in the sea that morning . The fire was set ablaze , and the princesses kept on stacking logs . Soon the flames reached the top of a palm tree . The ship's horn blew again , and it changed its course towards the girls . They had been spotted ! They hugged each other and danced around the fire . Soon , they we're seated in the ship's lounge , wrapped in towels and drinking hot chocolate . They had explained to the ship's captain that they had got stranded on the island , an he agreed to give them a ride back to the city . They were headed back home !
