Preposterous Preponderance

Life can really suck the life outta a person.

Sometimes slow burn-ly.

Sometimes quick, in an instant. Blink of an eye.

Either way it can “Ouch”.

A lot.

And sometimes. People just don’t care.

Not the bright and sunny positivity way or point of a supposed good day, the day.

Sorry.

Hear say is called hear say, not heard say. Or Her say.

But it is a good idea to have your say. At some point in time. Otherwise fictionally fictional fiction can take over the thoughts for the day.😞

Not since Rome in its glory days had a nation enjoyed such overwhelming military preponderance. But that is a thought for another time and another place. And another space. Tomorrow, I reckon.

Too crowded. Too crowded. Too old. Too young. Too useless. Too youthless.

The largest part or greatest amount. The squeaky wheel gets the oil?

B-E-A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E.

We each make hundreds of choices and decisions from the moment we open our eyes in the morning to when we close them again in the evening.

Choices.

Decisions.

Tenacious.

Lackadasical.

Sometimes they are difficult.

Sometimes they are a slam dunk.

What to do?

Take your time.

Where to spend our time.

Where to spend our money.

How to spend our time.

How to spend our money.

Spend your time.

Contrary to reason or common sense; utterly absurd at times too.

It can be nowhere.

It can be gosh darn everywhere.

The tricky part is knowing the best way to dump and run.

Or. Not. Where to dump and run. My apologies for the crassness. Of a thought.

The big ways.

The small ways.

Exaggerated ways. Small-minded ways. Small ball ways.

Stinginess—or the willingness to go to extreme lengths to save or gain something. Whew.

Can I please have a piece of cheese🧀please🙂

Or maybe not.

Cheese sharing or cheeseparing. Sharing or sparing.

A scrap pared from the rind of cheese—something that is useless or barely edible. Economizing of the highest order🤔.Ugh.

Evolution has a way of bringing the dog into the equation😳Uh oh.

Historically, the cats could not handle things, so they called upon the good ole dog. The loyal dog.

The good and loyal dog.

Expressive ways evolved and caused the dogs to unwittingly and unwillingly participate. Perhaps no one had the dog’s back, really had the dog’s back, or they preferred another dog to the dog. Back to back. To include the dog is a lesson in humility. Except maybe the most hardened. Who don’t mind killing the dog. Language and history evolved that desperately caused the dog to die a heartless death.

Lack of protection.

History teaches us of a preponderance of evidence. Historically existed to some as a-ok. To kill the dog. And different ways too. “there are more ways to kill a Dog then hanging of him”.

Ouch.

What did the good and honorable dog ever do to deserve THAT?. To continue: “There are more ways of killing a dog than choking him with butter.” “ There are more ways than one to kill a dog”

Then the cats crept in. Not surprising. They have the capability to behave rather quiet and creepily.

Being a “dog person” versus a “cat person” is complicated. Just like life. Why does it have to be so complicated?

It is good to feel good. About nothing. About everything. Looking good looks good. Looking good may to some feel good too. Either way. Deep down inside is a good place to start. To be good. As much as humanly possible.

Take the complications as they come. And they will come. Fast and furious, or slow burn-ly.

Take your time.

Take another breath.

Most persons are simply trying to survive.

If it stinks, smells bad. Doesn’t pass the “smell test”, it usually will never pass the smell test. Stinky paws and all.

Caution and Fact: Dogs bite. They just do. If they feel they have to defend their precious turf, they will bite. The big lies. The little lies. All bite.

White lies are designed to protect. Like a good ole dog’s bite. Protection of the highest order.

Ouch.

Decisions.

Trivial or Presposterous Preponderance? Fib, Fake, or Deception.

There are more than one way to skin a cat. Kill a dog. Etcetera. Etcetera. Pity the human who fails at protecting the dog.

Spare the cheese. Spare the feelings. To maintain the social order or collective well being. Gotta be on your toes at all times. Lest you blow your top. Innocuous really. Beneficial for some, maybe not so for others. No malice.

Small and unimportant. Or large and gargantuan. Time will tell. It usually does. Feeding someone a line can be just that.

Feeding someone a line. A cakeism. Having your cake and eating it too. Yummy for some. Not so for others.🤨

Whoppers or weasal words. Avoidance or Annoyance. Lying under oath or plain old lying is the same difference. Black is white. Or. Black and White.

It helps to have a friend on your side to help you with the lumps. The hypocrisy, the forky tongue of it all. We cannot know everything and we do not know what we do not know.

Misconstrued. Misinformation. Misrepresent. In can be a pretty lonely world out there. Porky even. Beloved dogs remind us of this—remind us when we get out of line. That it bites to bite the hand that feeds them.

Full figures. Full figured. Dumpy. Frumpy or Stumpy. Dogs through it all will not bite the hand that feeds them.

Would you?

Life is complicated at best. Life is complicated at worst. When someone is trying to help you, even if and when you may not agree, it is best to shower them with the respects of and honorable dog-like presence and regard. Regard and presence.

Not a “thanks but no thanks” motion of emptiness uselessness. A thankful and great full heart of overwhelming regard. And then step aside. Step back. Step up.
