"THE NECKLACE"

She is wondering bizarrely about her father. She remembers the day when he left  for Korea with a sweet, warm kiss on her forehead ,which still has its essence in the   place. Now, she wonders if he is alive or…

"Ursula, come on!, I have a surprise for you!"

Ursula is a girl who lives with her father and mother in the  U.S.A , but she accounts that she astrayed her father. She is in the safe zone with her mother and all the other unknown people. 

She ponders over the call and ran out

Is that dad,mom!

Mom smiled with gloom and tears in her eyes, but  she hid   them under the mask she was supposed to wear.

" Ursula, Listen to me, Dad will be back soon "

Mom sighs and says,

 "I managed to get some chocolates , which you can enjoy"

Ursula runs away without uttering a word.

"South Korea and U.S have been declared zombie free"

"Charlie!, you have a family, take this map,  waki taki and revolver"

Charlie and John are two employers who  survived a plane crash where the pilot was a zombie.

"But, What about you, John?"

"I am a zombie…."

John shoots himself with his revolver.

Charlie fills the colt with bullets and nasteps away. He is near Korean Demilitarized Zone where he is spotted by some officers. 

Chief!, we can see a man coming near DMZ, should we kill him?

Seize him and put him in the container  to the   U.S laboratory, Over and out.! 

Charlie is on the way , and instantaneously, gas spreads over him. He is not able to see anything. He feels dizzy and falls on the ground. He manages to get out his revolver and shoots where two soldiers get injured.

"Ursula? Listen to me dear, I don't know when your dad will be back and where he is, but he will be alright"

"Mom! It has been months i have met him"

"We have to live our lives like this, now, we don't have any choice."

Ursula cries on lap of her mother and inquires

Will I meet my friends?...annemarie, kristi, and kash….

Mother sighs but manages to spare some words to provide a   satisfying response.

"I don 't know , dear…, when.., but you will find a way, Won't you?"

Charlie finds himself among a prison of unusual people who lie besides him.

Uhh….what was that!

 "Take zombie no 1 - 10 over and out"

What is this going on? ,where am I right now, he wanted the answer.

Charlie is injected with a chemical which makes him dizzy and he falls on the ground.He is in the Zombie Headquarters where all the present alive zombies are present and imprisoned, ready to be laboratory experiments.

"No one is alright for my experiment, They are all deeply infected by the virus."

"How will I complete my Hypothesis.?"

The officer near grins and says,

"Get the last one!"

Meanwhile, they march towards Charlie's prison, he starts to overcome his dizziness and gets active. 

Charlie is caught by the blue officers.

Charlie reclines on the laboratory bed where he is ready to be observed,but he stands up and tells them the story while guns are on his shoulders.

I am a human….,leave me

Dr Drufen comforts  him to relax and he orders everyone to leave, but there is a secret on his face.

Dr Drufen pleased   him that he will only perform  a simple test and then he can go.

As Dr Drufen was preparing, Charlie managed to get the necklace out of his pocket and place it on the heart but sees something which he was not supposed to see , nor Dr Drufen wanted him to see it. 

He said with heavy voice,

"Dr Drufen please leave me,"

"What! No way….you are key to my success."

"You are the one who will fulfill my incomplete dreams."

 Dr Drufen binds him with belts on the bed

Please, leave me…

Charlie lies on the bed when the necklace in the pocket tingles him. He recalled all his life from an infant to have one named Ursula. He felt the  warm forehead of his daughter on his lips. His eyes shut , his soul vibrated, he could feel it. He knew it was his astral body and he could see his body on the bed.

He moved out of the laboratory and travelled to the safe zone compartments where he could see a girl on the window making a painting. It was Ursula. He could believe. She tied a chocolate to the paper and threw it from the window to the small children who don't have any house and were living in sheds. Afterwards, she wished,

Dad,please come back, this was my last chocolate…. I donated for your revert.

Ursula couldn't imagine ,her father was watching her.

Charlie came back to the lab where he saw something which was the scariest moment in his life.

Charlie, please help the people… they need you

He saw many shiny bodies which he was sure are not from his own world, but he saw John too…

"Charlie, Dr Drufen wants the salanum virus from you and spread it in whole world so that he can earn money by giving them the only antivirus he has made.

His previous plan flopped so he is making mutations in the virus and he needs strong antibodies"

"You have save the world from the catastrophe"

Charlie didn't say anything nor did he move  his eye from John.He entered his body , but he was paralysed. He manages to overcome it. He couldn't choose what to do. He stands up opening the belts.

Dr Drufen smashes him down ,but Charlie Knocks  him down and ties him to the bed.

"Dr Drufen! You are a nemesis and world has chosen me to save the world"

Dr Drufen on the ground with fierce smile replies

"Remember,that paladins die and so will you!."

Charlie tightens the necklace around his wrist and finds his way through channels of corridors where he combats many and he continued it till he reached the compartments, but the biggest obstacle was that the medicine Dr Drufen gave him was losing its effect which Increased the effect of virus in his body.

Finally, he reached the compartments where he was shot in his leg and dragged.

Ursula..Ursula ..ur, i am back 

Ursula comes out in the center of the compartment where she saw some people gather but she was late as dad was dragged out. She assumpted them to be her hallucinations but she saw the necklace on the ground which shined bright .

STOP , he is my father, stop ….please,she says when she finds him in the corridor. 

She ran towards her father which was on the ground.

"Dad, why are you so late…"

"I was  in the  Astral Travel, you told me of once…."

They held their hands and smoothed forehead against each other.

Before, Ursula could say anything, dad said, 

"Listen Ursula.. I have to go far away..  I am lucky to have this opportunity.. So take care of your mom."

"No dad...i can't live alone.."

"You can! This necklace will give you powers"

"This is just a necklace.."

Charlie pressed his finger on her lips and said,

"This necklace is the reason i am here"

"But..when you will be back"

"You will come to meet me "

They hugged each other and he felt nauseating pain and he thrusted her back.

Ursula 's mother hugged her daughter and Charlie plodded towards the window and fell from the aperture waving bye to Ursula.

Ursula didn't say anything as the room was filled with stillness which seemed to be everlasting ,but it shuddered by an announcement,

" The war against zombies has ended. The world is zombie free and humans are ought to be set free"

Everyone started to jump and threw their masks in the air but Ursula knew it was his dad which made it possible.
