A Blood Lie

Amanda and her husband, Alan had moved from Missouri to Colorado with Amanda's parents, Marie and Eugene. All four of them found themselves settling in a tiny mountain town called Craig. Amanda and Alan established work there rather quickly and before long, were moving into their own apartment. Marie and Eugene ended up finding them an apartment too.

Things were going so well for all four of them. They were all happy the way their lives had ended up. They were grateful to be in such good graces.

Amanda and Alan step into their wonderful new apartment. Amanda says to Alan, " It's just great to have a place we can call home. Don't you think so ? " And Alan replies, " Yep, a place we can grow together in and learn together in. " And they both smile.

Amanda and Alan later get Temporary çustody of Alan's son, Dallas. Which prompted Amanda to become a Stay At Home Mother. Amanda says to Dallas, " Your going to love it in Colorado. You'll be sledding and making snow men everyday. You'll be having lots of fun. " Dallas smiles and replies, " I can't wait. But I also can't wait to make some friends. " Alan Amanda and Dallas, couldn't be happier about their situation. The time in life where family is everything but so is time.

A couple of years do pass and as time goes by, Amanda could see some change in her husband's personality. He was different. Amanda just knew something wasn't right. But didn't know exactly what that was?

One very early morning, Amanda rose from bed to use the bathroom and discovered Alan's secret. In the middle of the bathroom floor lies a baggie with heroin in it and a needle. She couldn't believe what she'd found but could now make sense of Alan's actions and change. Disappointed, she stays up waiting for Alan to wake for work at 2:00 Am.

Alan wake's for work and is surprised when he sees his wife sitting awake in the living room recliner. He asks, " Hey, what you doing already awake?" Amanda replies, " No particular reason. But I do have a question, did you lose something? " He shakes his head, No. She replies, " Are you sure about that? " After Amanda says that, she points towards the shelf in the kitchen. Alan's eyes spot what Amanda was pointing at. Amanda then says, " I'd appreciate not to be lied to or kept secrets from. " Then she gets up and heads towards the bedroom. She lies down in silence, processing what had happened.

His secret was out! Alan couldn't process the fact that Amanda didn't even yell at him or seem mad. He gets ready for work and heads towards his job.

Amanda and Alan went weeks before talking about what had happened. Amanda was more hurt and disappointed in Alan, then anything. Alan and Amanda talked about getting him some rehab services for his heroin use. But Amanda later found out that it may be to late to help Alan.

Alan and Amanda's relationship, slowly began to fall apart. Due to Alan's drug use , he had lost his job, they were evicted out of their home, Alan had robbed and stole from every friend they both had. Nobody trusted Alan, so that left them both homeless and sleeping under a bridge.

Alan's son, Dallas had been sent back to live with his mother due to their living situation.

Alan had become physically and mentally abusive, lazy, and only thing he cared about was how he was going to get his next high. Amanda was no longer happy. She felt her 14 year marriage drifting away. The man she fell in Love with and married, no longer resided within her husband.

She tried getting Alan help but he didn't want the help. So after three years of trying to repair their failing marriage, she decides, enough is, enough and packs his bags and sends him on his way to deal with his problems on his own. It was a hard decision to make but it was a decision that needed to be made.

Amanda ended up having to move in with her parents, in order to get by in life. Plus she hated being alone with her thoughts.

About a month after settling in at her parents place, the worst life event takes it's place. Amanda finds her father, Eugene hanging from a tree in their backyard. He had committed suicide. Life was really dealing her a rotten hand.

Amanda and her mother, Marie, continued living together in the house. The only family Amanda had in Colorado, was her Mother. She had already lost her husband and her father. All she had left was her mom, and how grateful she was for that.

Months and months pass by and things seemed to be going okay. Then one day Amanda's mother had her friend come pick her up for a Dr. Appointment. Before Marie heads out, she tells Amanda she'd see her soon.

Five hours pass by and Amanda begins to worry because her mother hadn't returned home from her appointment. Amanda starts making phone calls, to make sure her mother was okay. She got No answers. But after an hour of waiting, she receives a call back from Nicole. She asks surprised, " Your mom didn't tell you? She had a plane ticket to leave and go back to Missouri. She couldn't live here without your dad. She got on a plane in Denver, at around 10:00 Am and is about to be landing in Missouri soon."

Amanda begins crying. She was so disappointed. Why had her mother lied to her? Why would she leave her completely alone? Amanda was surprised by the decision. Amanda's only family, the one person she always trusted, secretly left, and leaving her own daughter behind.

Amanda discovered that her mother abandoned her, lied to her and created the biggest betrayal ever!! It was the coldest blood lie ever seen amongst the family.

Amanda ended up alone, homeless and the only thing that kept her sane was turning to dope to make her forget everything. Her life is now disastrous and she still praying for her life to get back to normal. She's still praying for happiness.
