Martin with a trembling body, with blood red eyes, with sorrow and excitement, he said “I accept the dare!”. Martin Jackson, from Brooklyn was an orphan who lived a harsh life, withstanding all hardships, sufferings and hunger. He worked in a construction site and earned very little but he was determined to be rich. In his expedition of making money, he met a man who fell deeply ill; he grew weak and had a frail body. The man had it all; tons and tons of mesmerizing wealth but he failed in attaining something simple, happiness. After witnessing his life Martin understood that wealth wasn’t the solution. Martin raised a child and named him Bill Jackson. Their life was simple but joyful. Bill at a very young age understood Martin’s financial issues, he behaved maturely and was never stubborn. Bill was Martin’s key to paradise but as time passed Martin’s key started to rust. It was a humble Christmas morning and all Martin could afford was a bowl of dry cherries. Bill was 8 years old and he wanted to gift Martin with anything that was special. He went alone in the streets and begged for a dime. It was a rainy night and the young ambitious boy didn’t return. Martin searched the whole town and returned empty handed. He filed a report and the missing case of Bill Jackson spread throughout the States. The cops arrived and the nation froze as failure passed in. There weren’t any who witnessed the boy. As Martin was an orphan, there weren’t any to support him, there weren’t any to help him. He hoped that Bill would return once and that was the sole reason why he lived. This hope helped him to move on but without Bill he didn’t have any purpose to be alive. He was a great believer of god and on a sunny Friday morning, he met a mysterious man near the church dressed in black. He said “O Creature! What do you seek?” Martin replied in a stern voice “What I seek is something you don’t have!” The man giggled and said “I know what you seek and it can be claimed, through me!” The mysterious man held Martin’s arms firmly and Martin fell unconscious. He took him to a dark cottage where he dwelled in. When Martin opened his eyes, he saw several men dressed in black surrounding him mystically, chanting verses. One of them brought in a child and asked “O creature! Isn’t him who you seek?” Martin gazed at the boy and screamed “Bill!” He felt so astonished. And the man continued “In order to receive what you seek you must accept our humble dare. You must erase thirty-three lives in three days. You must do this alone, if you want the boy so bad”. Everyone joined “A deed for a deed”. Martin with a trembling body, with blood red eyes, with sorrow and excitement, he said “I accept the dare!” Martin wiped his father’s old rifle continuously for three hours until he stopped crying. He was confident about all the things that he had done before in his life but not this one. He went at the construction site and slammed a man with his axe and kept shooting at him until his very last breath. Right at the construction site he slowly dug and buried the body. He sat right there staring at it until dawn. He then realized that hours had swept away. At this very moment, time was more important to him rather than anything. He dressed up as quickly as possible and he entered a nearby clinic. He introduced himself as a doctor from the Northern Prairies. There were five men and women laying at the ventilator in a highly critical condition and the chief doctor requested Martin to provide them more oxygen. Martin agreed happily and plugged the oxygen out of all patients. All five innocents people experienced a slow, painful death. The very moment the local cops arrived furiously and imprisoned him. At the prison he was in charge of the food served to the inmates and he took the responsibility very seriously. He made strong relationships with many murderers and later, everyone was intrigued seeing his extreme cooking and plating skills. He served the food and as time passed everyone fell extremely ill, from pick pocketers to serial killers. Martin Jackson had poisoned the food causing the death of fifteen inmates. He escaped the prison for more murders so that he could have one moment with his beloved son Bill. He said to himself “Twenty-one erased easily, now twelve more to go.” Now, he had to rest as he was turning frail and pale. He laid down with fatigue and dreamt of another day with Bill. His selfishness had consumed him and he was prepared to live a life with Bill and regain an element, joy. The next day; the last day, he woke up late and rushed to an orphanage. He set a fire on it and closed his eyes. He could hear little saplings cry, patients scream, prisoners choke and his heartbeat shamelessly. It was night and five minutes for twelve. The news spreads that eleven little children were burned alive. He said “What? Only Eleven? What about the thirty third person? No!” The man grabbed his knife and was so impatient. Five minutes or no more Bill. He rushed around but saw none and he told himself “I cannot fail. I need Bill! How? How?” He looked at a mirror and asked himself “What do I see?” and he replied “A shameless selfish creature who loves his child.” He sat down for a minute and an idea sparked, Martin smiled and said “Let him live. Live peacefully. A deed for a deed.” He stared at himself for a moment, washed his hands and sharpened his knife. He laughed and pointed the knife towards him. One minute to go and Martin Jackson, one of the most cold-blooded, savage and brutal man in the history of United States stabbed himself, happily for his son, Bill. But Martin’s happiness did not last long as Bill appeared slowly with a cunning, wide smile witnessing his father's painful death.
