        MAYA: THE BEE   

So this story is about a bee named Maya and her family and how she would lose her family due to humans.

Maya used to live in a jungle with her family and friends and they use to collect nectar and turned it into sweet gold called honey. And they all were happy and satisfied with it. They use to wake up and start searching for flowers, when they found flowers they use to come back and tell other members about the location and they all use to collect food from them. So this was their daily routine and they all were very happy it. Maya was the queen of the hive and she use to manage the hive and all were happy with her.

One day they saw some humans in the forest, and they were quite happy to see them. Human started to live there and they use to grow different flowers, fruits and vegetation. Initially Maya and other bees were very happy as they were getting different different kind of nectar which they haven’t tasted before and who doesn’t like a different and delicious food. After sometime human start to extract honey from hives without thinking about them as honey was their food and for their offspring but still Maya and other bees weren’t concerned about it and they were able to make enough honey which was sufficient for them as well as humans. As the time passed by human become greedy and now to started to collect more and more honey from maya’s hive and finally resulted in maya’s and others to leave the hive. Later they formed another hive away from human and continued to live there and again they were happy. They were very happy with their life as they were doing some exceptional work for maintaining the healthy life of our mother earth and directly helping humans as they were playing an important role in pollinating flowers and others plants which provide oxygen to human as well as food.

After sometime human again found their hive and again started to exploit to them but this time they were more in quantity and in this process they started to hurt even kill them. THIS made Maya and others very furious and they for their defense they sting few of them. And again maya and her family left the hive behind and settled to a new place and again started the whole process. And again human invaded their areas and again they left the hive. This happened quite a few time until maya decides to build a hive on a cliff of a steep mountain which was difficult for humans to reach. And they again were happy as now no human would disturb them. This continued for a while and they were quite busy with their life. But after sometime they found it difficult to find flowers and trees. They started to travel much more to find food. And this become worse with time. The reason behind this was humans as they cut down trees in the name of development. They destroyed millions of acres of forest for industries, for food, for wood and what not and still there is no one stopping them. And at this rate of cutting down forest humans will definitely come on the verge of extinction.

This deforestation has affected Maya and her family and  millions of other Maya in such a way that they are fighting for survival. And this not only will wipe out Maya but this will wipe out the entire life on earth. ‘Doesn’t believe me , you should’ Maya said. And here a explanation to this, there is a research which says that if earth lost all its bees , humans and other species would not have enough resources to survive a couple of decades and the reason for this is maya and her families plays an important role in pollination, millions of plants pollinates because of maya and they are responsible for earth having such a rich biodiversity. Not only pollination but this little creature maya also help to keep balance in environment, climate and ecosystem. They help in pollinating those trees which helps to reduce carbon dioxide and many others harmful gases, these trees controls flood and other natural disasters and these trees holds and regulates the most essential fluid for life that’s water and for all this MAYA plays a very crucial role for free. 

“if something doesn’t have a price tag on it doesn’t mean its not valuable”

So this is the life and story of maya , being so tiny and small her efforts are simply incredible for our planet. And she does all this without asking for anything in return and all we have to do is just to let her live. Maya is considered to be one of the most hardworking creature on earth and honey which she produces is actually liquid gold, with such an amazing shell life and properties from curing cancer to detoxing body to fighting infection to glowing skin and much more all this maya gives us for free. So next time you see maya or her family member just remember to be thankful to her for all her efforts and for making our life and our earth so beautiful with so astonishing views and most importantly be thankful to her because we are here living on this planet all because of her and her family.

So this story of Maya is lesson for all of us that its time to think about earth and its creature, human might be the smartest creature of earth but all his action are destroying our habitat. In the name of development he is ruining the only known living place for humans. It’s a high time for us to stand against all this and take major steps to prevent all this because being the smartest creature it’s our duty and responsibility to save our earth from being destroyed by us only.
