the reunion

Every person that lived in the eerie,black house on maple street has died.The current resident called Chester   and I, when we arrived,¨Wait,I recognize this house.¨   I said as she answered the door. ¨Mom?¨ I said cause I haven't seen her since I moved out .¨Hey sweetie,¨ she said ¨oh come in.¨ ¨Mom,Chester  and I are paranormal investigators,which means we use special equipment like this,¨ I pulled out an EMF sensor ¨this will tell us if  there is a ghost here.¨ The EMF sensor immediately spiked up to red,¨Woah,Soren we have an issue,look at the EMF sensor.¨ Chester said.I looked at the sensor, it spiked back up to red.¨Alright, mom Chesterś going to go grab something called a spirit box,it allows us to talk to the ghost,ok?¨.” Ok,but you´ll stay,right?¨  ¨Si mama.¨ I said,using spanish to calm her down.

After Chester came back with the spirit box, my mom was singing in spanish to calm down while we set the spirit box up. “Ok mom we got the spirit box setup,is there anything you want to ask the spirit?”. “Y-yes,what is your name?”she asked.”A- Amethyst.”. ‘Ok  Amethyst what kind of spirit are you?” Chester asked. “H-Half demon half angel.” “ Wait, you said your name was Amethyst? Who's your mom and dad?”I asked,remembering I had a little girl named Amethyst when I was 16  who was kidnapped.̈Mi papi murió después de mi y tu mi mama.¨ ¨Your daddy died after you and … are you Amethyst Macaya?¨ 

“Yes mama.”.Amethyst chimed.”Soren is there something we need to know?”Chester asked. “Yes when I was 16 I had Amethyst and when her and my boyfriend went on their regular walk they both were kidnapped.3 years later,when the police caught the guy who kidnapped them he told them that my family were dead at a little hut on Carlson road when the police got there they found the dead bodies of my family my boyfriend,Phillip ,and and my baby girl,Amethyst,Phillip was 18,and Amethyst was 5.”Oh my,Im sorry carino .”my mom cried hugging me.”Its ok mama.” “Wait Amethyst why are you killing the people who live here?” “They were planning on hurting Abuela and you,mama so I’m just protecting y'all.”  “Thank you carino.” “Can you tell me where the bodies are?” “The bodies are in the basement mama. “¨no voy a decirle a la policía de acuerdo solo  nec necesitaba saberlo para poder enterrarlos de acuerdo.¨

   ¨I know a spell that can bring you back to life but where's Phillip  carino?(static from the spirit box)¨ï-i'm here pajaro  bebe.¨I blushed profusely and let out a sigh of relief.¨I'm glad.Follow me outside.¨I started  doing a spell my grandma had taught me when i was younger,I was actually surprised it worked.I finally saw my family again.Amethyst’s beautiful black and red   hair  that went down to the middle of her back was in knots, and her clothes were ripped to tatters.Phillips  beautiful red hair was knotted and down to his shoulders ,and his   clothes were also in tatters,but he still wore his engagement ring from when I proposed.I burst into tears¨ What's wrong?¨ Phillip exclaimed.¨These are happy tears mi amor,happy tears.¨After that I buried the bodies in the churchyard near my house,then I brought  my family home. I showed Amethyst her room,which was the exact same before she died. The only thing I changed was her bed. Phillip  and I went to our room and I showed him his  collection of rings I had kept.The next day,We went to the store and bought clothes ,food,and toys.When we got home we all went to mine and Phillipś bedroom ¨Mama what happened to you when we died?¨Amethyst asked,spotting the piles of  bloody bandages and gauze.¨Well mama got into multiple different fights cause people thought I was hallucinating whenever I said I was dating daddy  and had you.”I said as I booped her nose.She giggled.I have  hallucinations often so this was normal for us to talk about.¨¨Are you sure you´re ok?¨Phillip asked.¨Im fine,baby boo.¨I said  as I kissed him. The next day I went out with some friends because Phillip suggested it.While driving home an hour later,I had gotten into a car crash.I awoke in the hospital,hooked up to all kinds of wires and tubes.Phillip was asleep in the chair next to me and Amethyst  was on his lap,also sleeping.I pressed the call button and asked for some pain meds because it hurt to breath.”You were in a coma.”.”I was in a coma?”.”Yes, due to so much stress we had to put you into a  medically induced-coma.”. Just then I realized that I couldn't feel my legs. ”I can't feel my legs...why can't I feel my legs?”I said, starting to panic.”The crash you were in has left you paralyzed for life.I’m sorry.”.Phillip woke up and noticed that i was about to have a panic attack.”Hey,hey it's ok,you’re gonna be ok.”.He said as he moved Amethyst to the chair next to him so he could get up to assure me that i was gonna be ok.The doctor had to sedate me because i was having a panic attack and grabbing at the  tubes inside my chest.Five hours later,”What happened?”I asked Phillip groggily.”You had a panic attack and ripped out one of the tubes inside your chest.”he told me.I now realized that i was restrained to my bed.”Why am i restrained?”I asked.”Since you’re awake I’ll get a doctor to take those off.They’re giving you some anxiety medication through the  iv in your right arm and pain meds through the one in your left hand.”he said.”I’ll be right back,ok?”.”Alright.”I said.When the doctor came in and took the restraints off he said “You’ll be able to leave in one month ok?So just stay calm.Are you hungry?”he asked.”Yes actually.”I said.He handed Phillip the remote to the tv.”Can you help her order her dinner?”.”Yeah sure.What do you want babe?”he asked”your on a liquid diet by the way.”.”Can I have soup and jello please?”.”Sure.”When my food came Phillip had to help me eat.”Papi?”Amethyst asked.”Yes, carino?” Phillip asked.”Is mama gonna be ok?”I had fallen asleep so I didn't hear her.”Yes she is.Now how about we go to the cafe and get us some dinner?”Phillip asked.”Yes please.”When they got back,a nurse had come in to check my vital signs and give me my nighttime medication.I had started to feel cold to the touch so the nurse who had  unfolded a couch  for Amethyst and Phillip to lay on went to fetch some blankets.When the nurse came back Amethyst was eating her food (she had gotten pizza with a chocolate milk)and Phillip was fixing the pillows on the couch.”Here's some blankets for yall.”the nurse said as she set down the blankets on the counter.When they finished their food,Phillip gathered up my tray and set it on the counter while Amethyst threw their trash away.Phillip picked up Amethyst and laid her down on the couch and then laid down next to her.In the morning,Phillip woke Amethyst up and got her ready to go to my moms so he could stay with me.When he got back,I had woken up and my doctor had told me where he went.”Heya chucho,how are you?”he asked as he walked in.”The pain went down but it's still there,The doctor said that physical therapy won't  help me so there's nothing we can do.”I said.”Alright.”
