Scary Summer Road Trip

In 1990, My mom and my dad got married, and when I was 3 years old. We decided to go on summer vacation since it is hot outside. We go and go all the way to the beautiful lake, rising next to the sun. We set there and camp. But little did I know, this is actually kinda weird. Because after I set the camp, it started raining. It was heavily raining that all of us has to go to the tent. But the tent didn't work out because we haven't finished it. Even using an umbrella, dad and mom still get wet. After that, it stopped. We peek out and mom and dad were relaxing even it was noon. " Dad, this is not the beach, now get up and cook for us." My brother commit. Finally, they have finished a delicious dinner ' eggs, sausage, and pudding' for me and my brother. 'eggs, fish, and broccoli for my mom and my dad. I got to the tent and read my favorite books about fairy and elves. And I watch ' Holly and Ben' on my mom's phone. 'Holly and Ben' is a great video for kids to watch, if they are learning English. There are more great videos too. And another channel like Peppa Pig, or PJ Mask, is great for your learnings. Starting tomorrow is different. Mom and Dad wake up so early and leave us there at 7:00. When we wake up, mom and dad weren't there. We find it everywhere. I was about to cry when I heard an unfamiliar voice behind the tent. We peek. Mom and Dad's friends are there. " Hello," I said nervously. " Hello, children. Your mom and dad got an interview they miss yesterday just because they took care of you too much. It would take a couple more minutes to finish, so, take care and wait. They didn't bring their phone because that's the rule. So, you can see it." "Okay." It was really scary. Then, when they came back, they took it their phone and go. We look at their leg, strange. I told them this is not real, so we wait until it was gone. And we peek for their path. They are smashing and smashing their phone. We ran to another to see mom and dad! They are tied up without breath. We tied and we both do the right way. They have breath and jump up for asking phone. I told them to smash it. Now, when they quit, we all have no money. I was really lost and really want to help. One day, a mail came to me using a computer. I open to see a contest, 50$! Oh my! I enter their contest and started writing. It's about the scary thing. I type the whole story and wait. And that started! They came and I was the first! They send 50$ on Paypal. Mom was able to have food again! I started to see more Reedsy competition and enter to win. When I got to make money, my brother also copies by entering a game jam. Mom and dad were still busying finding a job, but they will find a big surprise. I won 1000,000$ dollar for a big competition where I found, and my brother wins 100,000$ for being the top. When they finished cooking, they open Paypal and see the top! They go and be an engineer. They work hard while they hired a nanny to take care of us. We make money and sometimes even help nanny. Now I know, Reedsy competition is the best way, and this is the worst summer vacation I had in my life! The next time, we went to the same spot. We are rich now. When the boss came again, they told for interview. " I don't work for you, I am having a new job." They felt terrible. Mom now cooks fish and rice for dinner and pudding for dessert. Or, Jelly. And my dad buys an expensive car tent. The tent we could drive. And even sleep. So, we are having fun when a knock on the door. It's the boss again. He is homeless. He is fired from the client for the robot. But we are not paying for that! He is going to learn a big lesson for that. We leave him there. We look and see more tied-up people are there. Some people fall asleep for a potion. " I call 911 in my room because my brother said so. An hour pass, shiny light went by. The police arrest the boss. " That should learn your lesson, dummy!" When it was okay, I go out and make a potion in the tent. There is a lab room. Everyone wake up and thank us. One person said " Wait, are you Huyen? You are the number one best writer in Reedsy!" " Yeah! I couldn't believe it! We are sorry for your story, it was emotional that I cry" A man said. Now, everyone started taking pictures. " Wait, and are you Phuc?" A girl said. " I love all your game! I couldn't believe it!" " Oh, Thank you." We wake up, it was normal. Everything was fine. When I got back to school, I told everything. " Does that mean, you have a million dollars?" Hannah ask. " Yeah!" I said. The presentation about summer camp came. I started talking about it to the whole class and the class even covered their mouth. But the best is being at school is the safest way. Then, I will ask who would like to protect me from danger. Everyone raises their hand, even the teacher. I would be happy to this! My parent was also doing this presentation and become the boss, with employee helping and protecting. It was the best time I had in my life! And let's remind this, never took someone for granted and always help them no matter who he is, the better it was, the best it could be
