“The trouble with your world,” he began, “Is that everyone has been driven to be selfish. If you have the money and resources, get it. If you have the power, do it. There is no need to self-restraint; self-check in your world.”

I stopped and paused for a bit. I wanted to find a rebuttal, but I couldn’t. He was right.

“Well… there’s still some good in this world, isn’t it?” It was the only thing I could come up with to say. I needed to find a way to defend my home.

“Indeed there is, but that also comes at a price. Doing good risks getting taken advantage of, restricted, and even abused.”

“I mean, like trees and nature and stuff.”

“Yes, but humans didn’t invent that.”

“Right… but that’s still good.”

“And even so, how much has nature been destroyed by humans?”

I didn’t want to answer that one. We both knew the answer, and I didn’t need to say it out loud.

He continued. “I’ve never met such a species that claims such high intelligence, but yet rewards destructive behavior and punishes positive behavior. It’s almost like someone, or something, is trying to sabotage your species.”

“What do you mean?”

“If you look at an ant colony, being as big as you are, the power and destructiveness you bring, just by your presence, you feel as if you do anything to the ants, they cannot stop. And since destruction yields more ‘dopamine’ response, it is more tempting to do something to destroy the ants, or even the colony. Could be as simple as stepping on them or finding a more ‘interesting’ way to kill them, experimenting on them and see how they react to an unnecessary life and death situation, or even taking them away from their home and forcing them to adapt to a new environment that is not natural to them.”

“What are you saying? That we’re doing that to each other?”

“No. In fact, it seems like someone is doing that to you. It could be one of your own, or it could be an outside force, but I’m not sure what that could be. But it is clear to me, based on my observation, that you all are being experimented on in a way that another is finding ‘entertaining’. Humans were never meant to live like this. Unfortunately, whoever might be behind this, it is too easy for them to erase any history of your origin.”

He looked around, suspiciously, like he felt like something was watching us.

“So what do you think we can do about it?” I pondered.

“I fear there isn’t much that can be done. Even the most savant ant is powerless to the lest intelligent human.”

“There’s gotta be help somewhere… right?”

“It has to be from someone, or something, as powerful if not more powerful. All of the human race would have to be unified, but based on your history, that is very likely to happen. There has been human division as far back as your history goes.”

“Is there such thing?”

“Yes, but they would have to be called upon, and they would have to be numerous, because I fear whoever is doing this may be nearly indestructible.”

“What would that be?”

“Angels.”

“Angels?”

“The only beings that I know that can traverse between worlds quickly, have pure spirits so as to not become corrupt, and that have the ability to defend against whatever forces are controlling the human race. The miriads’, powerful and pure, haven’t mastered far space travel yet. Yukos’ can travel and are powerful, but would remain indifferent to human suffering. Sirimons’ are getting there, but still would lack the ability to defend properly. Just as well though; I know angels have been associated with the human race for a long time now.”

I found that curious. “If they’ve been here to help us all this time, why haven’t they?”

“Because of their pure spirits, they require invite. They are not to enter into a persons’ life or help them in any way without proper invitation. It would be a violation of their nature. It’d be the same as a human cannot fly on its own without assistance, an angel cannot help without permission.”

“I’ve heard a lot of people talk about angels, but many doubt their existence. Are you saying they do exist?”

“Yes, they exist, but because they are the main beings that can help the human race, there is the perpetual misinformation on angels to the point where many are convinced they are not true or have a misunderstanding about them.”

“What do you know about them?”

“I have not had the pleasure of meeting one, but from what I have learned is that they are pure spirits who travel with ease between space and time with absolutely no desire or drive or motivation other than to do what is asked.”

“Are they servants then?”

“Not necessarily. They do what is asked only within their nature. They cannot go against their nature, and in some cases, many ask them to do things that go against their nature. When that happens, an angel may leave the person that they are trying to help. A lot of that is based on the spiritual disposition of the person asking: If it was asked out of a simple mistake, the angel sees that and will stay and remain to help. If there is any sort of malice or destructive nature in the request, the angel will quickly leave. Many find themselves alone without angels, because many have asked requests that go against the angel’s nature. That’s another reason why many don’t believe, even though they are the ones that made the angel leave.”

“Is there a way for someone to receive an angel back after an angel leaves?”

“It all depends on the person’s heart. If their heart becomes pure again, the angel might see that and come back to help. But calling out for an angel after one leaves may take some time.”

“Why is that?”

“Because angels live in a different dimension. They are not limited by space and time. They may travel to a different point in time, or travel to a different place in time, but they cannot be in the same place and time at the same time. They cannot violate Markishaw’s law.”

That was a new one on me. “What is Markishaw’s Law?”

“Oh, right. I forgot you all haven’t advanced that far in time travel. It was a Law discovered in time travel: You cannot travel to a time and area that you already have been to. For example: If you were to travel back to ancient Rome and visit the Colosseum as it was first built, you cannot go back again. Consequently, you also cannot travel back to Earth during that time period, since your essence already exists in Rome during that certain period of time. However, since each planet and system has their own sequence of time, due to time dilation across the universe, it is possible to travel to another planet or system “technically” during the time you were on Earth, because… well, there is no universal way of knowing if it was the same time or not.”

“That… is mind blowing.”

“Really? I’d think with the advancement of your race, this would be universally known when it came to time and dimensional travel. I mean, you all seem to understand the universal law of relativity. Einstein, I believe?”

“Yes, but this is a little bit more complicated. I guess you’re saying we can only be somewhere once, and that’s it?”

“Yes. So let me be a little bit more specific: If you were to time travel through your essence, you would not be able to travel back to this moment, because your essence already exists in this plane of time and space. You might be able to remember everything specific, but memories aren’t exactly time travel in the sense that I’m talking about. Memory is more of a ‘recording’ and replaying a certain event. I’m talking about traveling back and forward in time where your essence hasn’t existed yet.”

“I think I get it. Like watching a movie you’ve never seen versus a movie you have seen before and watching for the second time… or something like that. Right?”

“Yes! Exactly. Time travel is like watching a movie you’ve never seen before versus memory is just replaying the movie. So you understand, then?”

“Kind of. I’m still lost on how that works for time travelling in the future?”

“Traveling to the future is only possible if you travel to a different dimension or system. As I said before, you’re not necessarily limited to time when you travel to different systems, but once you are on that system, then you are restricted by the time that exists in that dimension.”

“But I can go back to that system in a different time?”

“In theory, yes. To use the previous example: It is possible for you to travel back to ancient Rome, and lets say you stay there for 100 years. During that 100 years, you are not allowed to go back to any point during those 100 years. Only when your essence is no longer there the first time are you allowed to go back a second time. And even then, there is a slight time delay in which you are allowed to go back. Meaning, you cannot go back the second your essence leaves the first time. You may need to wait some period of time, because people’s essence may linger for some time.”

“How long does it usually stay for?”

“It’s difficult to tell. Sometimes it’s a day in that dimension, sometimes longer. Either way, it makes it impossible to return if your essence remains there. But the thing about time travel is that there never is a conflict. That is why it is called a Law, because it can never be violated. It prevents any conflict in that regard, so there is never a need to worry about it.”

“This is beyond anything I’ve ever heard, but it makes total sense.”

“Doesn’t surprise me, as suppressed your race is.”

“Suppressed?”

“Yes. Many intelligent species who are as advanced as you usually have twice as much technology as you all have. Even the most advanced cultures here live very primitive compared to what I have seen. All the more reason for me to believe that someone, or something, is suppressing your technology advancement. It’s filtering out certain technology and only allowing technology that makes it easier to control and make humans more dependent on. Just even in the simple fact that gravity or sunlight is not used as an abundant resource is evidence to me that humans are not using the resources around them well.”

“How would you use gravity as a resource?”

“Wind is a force, correct?”

“Yes.”

“And I see you have what you call ‘wind turbines’?”

“Yes.”

“How do those work?”

“Well, when the wind blows, it makes the turbines move, and that movement generates power.”

“Gravity moves objects, don’t they?”

“Yes.”

“Same concept. Gravity moves objects, creating energy. The closest I’ve seen this concept work is with I believe are called ‘dams’, but for some reason, humans have decided to only limit this to water. There are so many objects that can be used for this.”

“Such as?”

“Anything, really. But I suppose the economy is preventing the abundance of gravity converters.”

“I’ve never heard of gravity converters.”

“Really? Almost every advanced civilization has at least some. The heavier the object, the more energy, but in essence it converts the pressure of this object on the surface of the gravity converter and turns it into energy. It doesn’t convert much due to the law of energy transference, but it’s still a limitless energy source provided by nature itself. At least 100 gravity converters, depending on how much they’re generating, can power an entire household endlessly.”

“Did you say 100?”

“Yes. I know that sounds like a lot, but some civilizations have them installed everywhere. Just like how you have tables and chairs holding lamps and the such? All of their surface, including the floor itself, has been engineered to be a gravity converter, so anytime they are walking on the floor, or have a lamp on a table, or even sit in a chair, they are creating energy for the house. Most houses become so self-sufficient that they never run out of energy, nor ever experience a power-outage, unless there becomes a problem with the wiring, which rarely happens.”

“Wow. That really sounds nice.”

“All the more reason why I think the human race is being suppressed. This technology, once harness and mastered, becomes the easiest way to have unlimited energy, since gravity is constant. It’s almost like humans have gone out of their way to NOT invent gravity converters.”

“Probably because the electric companies would go out of business if they did.”

“Exactly the point. Almost every human is reliant on some sort of company or business to keep their life going. And while it is good to have the community support each other and even become dependent of the resources gathered by the community, it was never meant to be a ‘you need to give me this for me to provide your basic needs’. Needing to pay any amount of currency for basic living needs is the most nonsensical and inhumane aspect of the human race. This leads me to believe that whoever, or whatever, is in control, has it set up for people to die. Like giving an ant a rock that might be too heavy to lift; If it lifts it, it escapes death, but if it doesn’t, it gets killed by the rock. But my question is… what is the point of putting that rock on that ant other than the ‘entertainment’ to see if it survives or not? Nature itself gives us many challenges of life or death. But putting unnecessary burden on people, outside of the element of nature, does not make any sense. It is completely unnecessary, and it does not advance the human race at all. Nature gives us plenty of opportunities for us to invent new tools and technology. There is not a reason to test an ant on its strength if nature is going to do that anyways. It creates unnecessary death and destruction. And that’s why whoever this is, whatever this is, must be stopped, and the only beings that can help stop it are angels, which human beings are reluctant to ask them for help in the first place.”

He stared out into space for a while. His face looked sad, almost like he knew something bad was going to happen.

“I fear that if the human race does not change or does not seek the right help, they will be destroyed… just like the race before them.”
