Great blizzard of 98

Snowy christmas night with the great luminous white moon and clear sky. Nobody knew what was going to happen. A moment later, Jack came out to go to the supermarket and he saw the light of the moon was dim now and the black thundering  cloud came along with it. This is so usual in his town because the town was in the middle of the huge mountains and situated at the sloped surface. 

 He drove his bicycle and saw the black clouds escape the moon somewhere in it. He heard the thunder emphatically and white smooth snow transmuted into downpour but it was  less than a  heavy blizzard. He literally felt the snow and water droplets on his face in the whole way.  

Jack reached the supermarket. As soon he entered it, the blizzard took its wild phase.  Then he got afraid to see that and all the 5-6 customers in the supermarket. He started to gather all the things and put into his trolly, and suddenly he found a baby in aisle no 9.  The baby was in the basket and looking to the roof by his tiny-shiny eyes. A kind of ray emitted from the sky and penetrated into the baby’s left side. But, the ray was not so much visible. People only felt it  never saw it.  

Jack went near to the basket to look for the baby. Was he alright? Meanwhile, the blizzard was on peak. It started to make destruction. 

Jack called the owner, he left the counter vacant and ran towards the aisle 9.  The owner already got scared of the havoc and also had a premonition. As ever he held the basket to uplift the baby. He felt the ray and it was shown now on his shirt. But they just thought this is reflection of light and zilch. 

Then, they reached the counter. Nobody was there and the store was empty. Also,  the blizzard was looking so clear from the counter.

 Supermarket owner was in anxiety and he was blabbering “everything gonna be over”. He made Jack anxious too.      

And the next moment, a big rock struck the gate of the store and it made the gate ajar. They felt the cold and snowy air, because of the cold air the baby was crying. The owner gave him the essential food and draped him in a warm blanket. 

After an hour, the baby was asleep but the storm was continuously going on and the air struck the gate continuously which made the room cold. 

They decided to mend the gate and they  mended it. Meanwhile a tree rolled down from the mountain on the store’s roof.

Baby woke up by the sound.  They didn’t know till now who is he? Where does he belong? 

They stuck there for 4 days and then the storm was halted and a dim ray of sunlight struck  Jack's face. He woke up and a smiling face depicted the jubilant feeling of them. But they didn’t know what happened outside the store. 

As soon as they exited the store, they saw the town was destroyed. Half of the town had come down the mountain. Houses made up of woods were escaped now.  The town had only 2 men and the kid’s beam was visible now. They roamed all the town to see if someone was alive or not. And they heard a noise or voice of some people from a tunnel. But the tunnel closed from the front side and they needed a roof because they could see the next storm was on its way. 

Jack ran towards the highway because he knew the secret gate of the tunnel. As soon as they reached the tunnel but the gate was stuck by the iron rods. Meanwhile, the blizzard started again and this time a tornado came along with it. 

They constantly pushed the gate but it didn’t make a little movement. Then, the baby turned toward the right side and the rays cut down the rods into small pieces and the gate was opened automatically. They saw the baby with flabbergasted eyes. They entered into the tunnel.

The tunnel was so dark but they had only that particular area  to save themselves.  An hour ago, they heard the same  voices from the tunnel. They followed that and found no one in the room.                                                          

The gigantic tornado threw all the things and caused massive destruction in the town. Then it came on the roof of the tunnel (highway) which joined the baby’s  ray with that tornado. But it hadn't been seen yet. It was constantly moving on the same path and took a massive look now.  

Later on,a tornado drilled the road like a machine to reach a baby. Also, stormy cold air passed through all the gates of the tunnel. They all shivered as much they felt the air. But they were standing there until the tornado came in the tunnel.

Once the tornado completed their task of reaching the baby, one more ray emerged horizontally from the baby's body. Both rays made holes horizontally (left to right)  and vertically (up to down).  Rays were visible now and the air passed from that hole. As soon as the speed of air increased the baby moved upward. 

A time came when the baby was converted into a monster which was cursed by the goddess of nature. 

She said “whenever you will  bring birth again on earth, you will die atrociously and will destroy the whole town”. Because he was black magic believer in his past and used all the resources on bad rituals to control all the calamities and use them by his own way.  

Jack and the owner saw clearly when the monster reached half the way it was burst into tiny pieces. As soon as the monster bursted, a bright light of sun struck the epitome of the  mountain and all the pieces still rotated in the tornado and suddenly it went into the hole and the hole mended automatically. 

Now the blizzard was halted and the town destroyed now,  nobody was alive except two of them. This blizzard etched in their memory forever.

But among them a good thing happened that is “a soul is curse-free now”.
