Big Screen TV On Sale!
The day before Black Friday, Thanksgiving. It's so weird that two holidays that mean the opposite meanings towards each other can be next to each other. I run down the stairs when my mom shouted: "Brooklyn, it's time for Thanksgiving dinner!". I smell the amazing aroma coming from the food, delicious! I ate my dinner with all my friends and family at the dining table. After that wonderful meal, every one of us got to say what we were thankful for. Once I got upstairs, I checked the time, it was 11:56. Oh my god, how did time fly by that quickly, I'm going to be late, late for Black Friday! Especially when Black Friday is my favorite holiday!
I changed my clothes, rushed down the stairs, opened the door, hopped into my car, and go, go, go! Then, I just remembered, I forgot my phone! I quickly hopped out of the car, opened the door, went inside, and grabbed my phone. Now I'm ready to go to the shopping center! When I arrived at the shopping center, it was so crowded when I saw a poster that showed that the big screen TV was 50% off! I had to get it before it runs out of stock. I had to get it, it was only $374.99. But as soon as I look down from the poster, I see the longest line of people I've ever seen before. It would take forever to get past this line. I grab my phone out of my pocket, it was 12:37am. I waited for what felt like forever until I finally got into the shopping center itself. It was 1:43am, I wasted more than 1 hour just to get past this line. I stood in the line until my legs and feet were sore. My poor legs and feet!
Now, I just needed to find the big screen TV. I walked here and there until I found my dream item, the big screen TV! There was one item left, I had to get it. When I walked towards it, I took it and turned around when a random lady came and snatched it from me. I started arguing with her that it was mine because I took it first. A store manager came and took the big screen TV and gave it to the lady. I told the store manager: "I put my hands on it first, it's mine! If you don't believe me, then check the security cameras!" The security cameras showed that I touched it first so it was mine. At last, I finally got it, the big screen TV! It's not for sale anymore but at least I got a box for only $374.99! It's way cheaper than the original price.
I bought it and put it in the car, and went back home. On the way back home, I was in a traffic jam. I pulled out my phone, it was 2:59am. But suddenly, I felt like I needed to go to a bathroom! I stopped by the nearest gas station and ran to one of the stores' bathrooms. When I was done, I heard my stomach growl: "grrr..." I was hungry! I walked over to the gas station's speed mart and bought a loaf of bread. I mean, we are running out of bread at home. I hopped in the car and opened the package. Such fragrant and soft bread, I ate it and checked the time, it was 3:28am. After almost 3 hours, I finally reached home. I've never been this tired before!
I opened the door and walked in, I put the remaining bread on the shelf. I shouted: "Mom, I'm back!" but there was no response, I guess she was still sleeping. I put the huge box on the floor and opened it with my handy box cutter. I knew this box cutter would be useful someday. I took out the instruction book and started setting the TV up. After I was done setting the TV up, I looked at the wires. They looked like an ocean filled with black spaghetti noodles. Finally, I took the TV remote and oned the TV. Wow, it worked perfectly! After all this time, I got my favorite item, the big screen TV! I took a shower, put on my pajamas, and checked the time, it was 6:26am. I guess just 3 hours for me to sleep. Definitely not enough beauty sleep for me today! But, I still slept even though I knew it was not enough time for actual beauty rest.
At 8am, my mom woke up and went downstairs. She gasped when she saw the limited edition big screen TV: "Oh my lord, why is the limited edition big screen TV in my house, am I dreaming?! It must be Brooklyn who bought it! It is 50% off!", she called me to come downstairs. She asked me: "Did you buy this TV? What time did you go out? What time did you come back?", I told her: "Yes, mom. I bought it. It was a limited edition and it was 50% off, I had to buy it!". I taught her how to use it. It took ages to teach her, She didn't know what controls to press or anything at all.
After a long time, she finally knew what controls to press to do this and that. My mom tested it out, it was perfect! She watched the news on the brand new TV for half an hour! Then, I watched some YouTube, it was awesome! The screen was way bigger than our old TV. Well, that's it about the story of how I got the limited edition big screen TV and how I struggled to get it I'm sure it's funny. It's me, Brooklyn who has gone through all these troubles just get the limited edition big screen TV on the morning of 2020's Black Friday.
