The Day We Met

“ I wasn’t expecting that “ scrolling on Instagram and to my surprise a coworker posted a picture of him and her another coworker promoting a brand, I wasn’t following her instagram account but he was and he tagged not just one page but two pages I guess girl called them spam accounts. So me being me, I clicked on both pages. I was gonna follow the main page, after I figured out which one that was in my surprise. It was a picture of her with the a dude holding her as a profile picture my heart sunken into my ass. My eyes could not believe what I was witnessing at this moment I really thought my mind was playing tricks on me I freaking wish it was and no I’m not talking about geto boys. I jump up out my bed in full of rage refreshing the page over and over and over still seeing the same results. Unable to phantom this we only had  a little falling out but nothing major at least that was I thought. 

And this overwhelming feeling took over me. I feel sick very nauseous to the point I have to vomit but I know I didn’t . WAS THIS LOVE? WAS I FOOLISH ? WAS I JUST A SNEAKY LINK? How could she have done this to me? How could she have played me like this and so well at that? So many thoughts running through my mind. emotions on a roller coaster , not knowing how to control them. It felt like a relationship just without the title. Everyone knows once you put a title on something it goes left. Me sitting have a flashbacks to the good times we had thinking about the first time I saw her. She was walking real fast, wearing a blue jacket. Legs for days!! I was mesmerize. But I couldn’t do anything at the moment I was working actually in training when I had a chance to wander off to go find her she was gone for the day me not knowing if I’m coming back to this location anytime soon. I made a point to ask my training lead to know when we will be going back to that location. Give me a heads up a day notice when we’re going of course he had a suspicion on why I wanted to go up there. We had a good bond starting off so he asked me and I told him I said I wanna know who’s that woman was. He started laughing. He said he knew her, but he didn’t know her like that. She was still new so he didn’t really have any information on her, but if it wasn’t for him Going to her, letting her know I wanted to talk to her. This may have never happened even though he almost messed it up from what she told me but a win is a win. he knocked on the door. She opened it. I entered it. It was to the point. One day we wasn’t even expected to go up there, but corporate had different things in mind for us so we had to go to that location. I was ecstatic. Like a kid in a candy shop It was early still plenty of time before she gets off. We had to load up from one location and bring everything to the next location in the sprinter van. A mixture of items, TV, chairs, cameras, weight etc. Once we get back, he goes in to check to see where we dropping everything off at and by my surprise, blue jacket and legs walk by they did not make it easy on me by letting her know her man is here working throwing the truck thank God I look good her being so cool with it as soon as I finish unloading, I went to go wash my hands we was leaving. We wasn’t staying long just load and drop off We had to go back and finish up the other location. The bathroom area is also where the cleaning crew is actually called CA room that’s full of cleaning utensils and chemicals was right there. My surprise. Because the room is located in the men’s bathroom, weird spot specifically if you have a female CA but I didn’t care. It was better for me. No one was around we were alone. I seen an opportunity and I took it. I proceeded to ask her what’s her name, spark up a little conversation and then if it was cool if I have her number, she had the impression I was gonna come off as a jerk or nonchalant about trying to ask for her digits that’s what previous guys have done. I completely shocked her. “ I am different “ Everything started from that day on we talked day and night, night and day when we saw each other it was to the point where we were super comfortable with each other. I was the first and only guy that she has ever hug at the job our bond was growing increasingly fast me enjoying every moment of it. She told me all the time that she love cologne fragrance.

I made it my mission every day to have my cologne pack in my book bag and to spray up so I can walk past her on purpose. we talk so much, flirting on the low I asked her out on the date she said “YES”. 

Date night has arrived nervous as hell. Decided we’re gonna blaze up on our way to the beach since we both love the water. got some drinks from Fat Tuesday talk for hours, hugged up on another we even roll the ferris wheel. I even went in for a kiss The night was great and every day out there was also quite amazing. We hung out every day until one day we didn’t I wasn’t expecting that. “ People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime “
