The time was about 3 o'clock and it was a hot summer afternoon. The year was 1986 and was going to be the best summer yet in Wilmington, NC! Rebekah and Amanda were going to meet Blair at her treehouse. They were going to talk about drama, makeup, and tell fun stories! Amanda was the first to arrive wearing a long purple dress with white; green feathers and a black belt. Her blonde hair fell so perfectly on her shoulders and her light blue eyes covered in purple sparkly eyeshadow. When Amanda got there she laid a pink blanket with orange stripes on the freshly just built treehouse floor. The smell of new wood lingered in the air and the treehouse was painted a cream color. With one big bay window facing the North Atlantic Ocean. When Amanda got done she sat her lipsticks down on the desk in front of the bay window. Rebekah opened the latch next and climbed in. She was an exquisite beauty with fragile dark brown eyes. Her light brown hair in a teased ponytail with side bangs. She was wearing a light green shirt and pink biker shorts. On her wrist was pink, orange, and neon green scrunchies. Rebekah had brought a journal filled with drama, and stories she wanted to share. She spent the day before writing her story she wanted to submit to the writing contest at school. The theme was the best sad story. Amanda and Rebekah sat down on pink and blue bean bag chairs. As the girls sat down they heard a knock on the latch. Amanda got up and opened it to see Blair standing on the ladder with a tray that has 3 cups of tea on it. As Blair climbs in she sits the tray with the tea on the desk. " Rebekah, will you pass the tea to everyone please and thank you.''-Blair. " I officially declare this meeting in congress."-Blair.
Blair's friends would describe her as an independent, kind-hearted volleyball player. Blair was tall, with medium length dark brown hair, which had permanent waves and she had the most extraordinary dimples. Blair was wearing a red jumpsuit with 2 black stripes on each sleeve with red eyeshadow on. As Rebekah passes the tea out she begins to say "I wrote a story for you to hear before I submit it."
"Could I tell you guys it?" Amanda and Blair look at each other and then say "Yes we would love to hear it.!" While Rebekah looks at her story the girls give her a stool and they sit back down in the pink and blue bean bags. " My story is called Uneasy ``, are you ready?" - Rebekah. " Yes, we're ready, tell it!" So Rebekah begins with...
"That night Natalia drove home, not knowing what she was going to do.
When she’s done parking and turns her car off. She sits there and begins to cry again and starts hitting her steering wheel. When she is done screaming she gets out and goes into her apartment complex. When Natalia unlocks her door. Miles is gone. There are glass shards everywhere and pictures are thrown off the wall. She goes into the son's room and lays in his bed. Falling fast asleep.
Miles is off at a bench in the middle of town drinking a bottle of Bourbon. Emotionless.
As the morning comes Natalia's mother has made funeral arrangements and the funeral is indoors at her mother’s house.
All Natalia could think is how her son felt before he got hit by the car.
She grabs a glass of brandy, from a counter in the dining room.
She was only 5’5. Her friends saw her as a panicky, agitated painter. But not even her friends could help Natalia prepare for what news Miles had today.
The thunder made it sound like there were fireworks going off on the 4th of July, making Natalia even more anxious to gaze off into the rain.
As Natalia stepped outside and Miles came closer, she could see the sturdy Natalia just looks at the bottle of Brandy in her hands and feels uneasy about it." Then Rebekah quits and says "The rest is a mystery for another day!" When she looks up at Amanda and Blair there crying and sniffling.
"That was so good you should win without a problem!"-Amanda says, tears still falling out of her light blue eyes.
"It really was good"-Blair trying to stop crying now. "Well Thank you guys, I really appreciate that!"-Rebekah.
"So my mom was telling me what colors of lips stick we could wear and eyeshadow."-Amanda.
"What colors did she suggest?" - Blair.
" She said pink, red, blue, and purple!"-Amanda.
"For both?"-Blair.
"Yes"-Amanda.
"Did you guys hear about how Mrs.C was kicked out of school!?"-Rebekah.
"Omg really?"-Blair and Amanda
"Yes, she apparently threw a bag of pennies at Josh Collins.-Rebekah.
"Well, that's unfortunate for Josh." -Blair.
"So Blair I hear you like Josh?", "Is it true?" - Rebekah.
"Maybe"-Blair said while blushing
"You do?"-Amanda
"Ya, is there something wrong?'-Blair
"Yes, there is!"-Amanda
"While what is it?!"-Blair
"I like him and I knew him longer so he's mine!"-Amanda
" Well, that's not fair!"-Blair
Both Amanda and Blair turn their backs on each other.
“Guys this fighting isn’t necessary you don’t know who he likes, it could be even me!”-Rebekah
“You don’t know that!” Amanda and Blair say in anger.
“Well, I actually do.” Rebekah
“How?” - Both girls say together again in confusion.
“Because I’m dating him!” - Rebekah
“WHAT!” - Amanda says in such fruition.
“Why didn’t you tell us!”-Blair
“I don’t know I just didn’t” -Rebekah.
“I’m leaving!” - Amanda
“Ya me too!” -Blair
Amanda grabs her blanket and lipsticks, in such fraustion. “I’m out of here you are a deceitful, ignorant, person!”
Blair begins to cry and says with her voice trembling making her be even more overdramatic “ Me too and it's My treehouse!”
“Wait come back I’m sorry!”-Rebekah
Finally, Rebekah grabbed her journal, opened the latch, and left. She was hurt by how her friends treated her over a boy. From that day and forth Rebekah promised herself to never let a boy ruin a friendship again! Rebekah, Amanda, and Blair never spoke to each other again because of that boy. Such a great friendship down the drain.

Nice story Sarah. I liked the light hearted friendship, yet the heavy realisation at the end. What I thought, may be you could tell more about the boy or their relationship, given this is actually the main event here. It's just my thought, you are the story teller here, of course.

Hi Sarah Nice story. I like some of your detailing...maybe you could extend that to the surroundings a bit more to give the reader a bigger picture. ( that’s just my preference 😁). Good job!
