A Diamond Trail

I was getting on the rusty, old train when I saw a lady who was telling her butler to take the luggage. She was wearing diamond earrings and a gold necklace. Her butler did so and took the luggage on the train. The train left the station and off we went.

Soon I heard a shriek. I was curious about what had happened. I followed a trail of diamonds into a room of darkness. Suddenly the door shut hard. It was very cold, yet I still followed the trail. It led to another door so I opened it and walked in.

The lady was there and another woman that seemed to be her friend was with her. Apparently, they had been friends for quite a while and the lady, Kiera, had fainted. I wanted to know what had happened so Keira's friend Maria explained that Kiera had lost her diamond earrings.

Maria said that she saw somebody else with diamonds a few hours ago. I went to talk to them. She described a lady with blonde hair. I thanked her and went to talk to her.

Her name was Carla and she said she found the earrings and kept them because she didn't know who's it was. I took the earrings and went to give it to Keira.

She thanked me and gave me two tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera. The train stopped and we got off. To my surprise, my friend Hannah was waiting for me. Turns out Keira is her mom!

Hannah and I went to the mall and bought black long straight dresses. I got a black hat with a rose on it. Hannah bought a rose for her hair and we got changes and left.

It was an amazing show and we loved it! I guess sometimes random things can turn into great things!!

The next day, we went to a pool and had so much fun! Keira said that I should come back another time and my mom would want me to be home by tomorrow night.

Keira was sad to say goodbye and so was Hannah. I couldn't believe Hannah wasn't coming to school this year but she said she'd visit if I promised to visit her. We said bye and I went off to the train. Let's hope this time, there won't be a diamond trail
