At the time of dark trees, when ambered skies turn purple.
The Willow stands strong and tall, roots have all encircled.
The faun plays his flute with the softest of breaths.
The Sylphs and Nymphs emerge and set to the test.
Then the mares come forth pawing the ground.
Butterflies and fairies circle all around.
As night falls, She emerges, The Queen.
" Briesef of the Lotus city I be.
Look me up, I've been around since before there was land.
From the dark cold of Chaos, I was born on the windswept bands.
Stars that strike up from the spot that gets dark.
That explodes in beauteous glory out of Spark.
It was a mystical connection.
Extension of Fate's Intentions.
Doubts were thrown aside, with serious introspections.
She flicked her wings backward with deft precision.
Then lit on the ground with a nice solid thud.
With a smooth slick motion, she grasped a cow chewing her cud.
The faun drew near the Dragon Queen.
She was the most beautiful dragon he had ever seen!
She was twenty feet long, tip to tip.
The stories she told of her amazing trips.
He bowed low as she crunched through bone.
" Young one, get on with it. I will be traveling soon."
The precocious one said,
" Oh Beauteous one. With opalescent scales of white.
Will you glide on translucent wings with me tonight?"
She flicked her claw and shooed him aside.
Snagging a salmon from the stream, unable to hide.
Then she sighed and said, as she chewed upon a leg.
"Encamped along the shoals,
of the Obsidian Eastern seas.
The sands of time that are dark and glossy,
reflect visions now to me.
Blurry images, of times, gone by.
My heart breaks, and I begin to cry.
So much sadness, deep within me.
The essence of "ME", struggling to be free.
I close my eyes.
I feel the ocean spray.
I sit down on a rock.
Then close my eyes to pray.
I never care who hears me.
Just only if they'll help to guide.
The energy that I'm unable to run from,
nor would I even try.
One or all, they are always there.
Always lending a helping hand.
An answer to a prayer.
Celestial moonbeams,
Strike the earth below in silvered strands of light.
That glisten upon the ocean's waves,
A flock of birds takes to flight.
I breathe deeply, asking them all for strength.
So many times, I have stood upon the brink.
Trying to control my destiny.
Intrinsically knowing that I could.
I wish there was someone.
Someone that understood.
Torn between loyalty and Hate.
Frustrated by desire.
The ocean's wind blows out strong,
Fueling the flames of my fire.
Turbulent emotions.
They caressed away instantly.
A gift from the Gods answered from infinity.
I stand upon a razor's edge,
Praying that I don't fall short of my dreams.
I look out at the horizon,
Feeling completely loved by the Sea.
From the mist and shadows,
She emerges and reaches out to me.
Mighty Freya's hand touched my heart,
grasped my pain, and flung it to the sea.
A mother herself,
Who's known such loss and pain.
The spray from the ocean,
Feels just like rain.
I am strong, but,
This has been a heavy load to bear.
I come here in my mind,
look out at the ocean and stare.
My place of comfort.
In times of doubt.
Obsidian black cliffs, that rise through the clouds.
These my friend, are the lessons I have learned.
If you play with fire, sooner or later you'll get burned.
Never second guess yourself.
The first answer's usually right.
Reach within yourself,
Feel the power of the Night.
Find the right path.
The right one for You.
Always seek honor.
Please, strive to be true.
Love can be fleeting,
Or stay the river's flow.
It can make you yearn for things.
It can make you all aglow.
It can rip out your heart, tearing it to shreds.
And, quite frankly, love can screw with your head.
Never close yourself off, to love that could be true.
Because If you never try, the only one to blame is you.
Look for the beauty, in all that you see.
And if you find yourself a split apart,
You'll know how good love can be.
The morning sun rises in wonderous splendor.
Taking away the pain so I won't remember.
Catnip, Sage, Hyssop, and Thyme.
Something to take away the pain tonight.
All the mystical illusions,
Within the black obsidian stone.
In this place of comfort,
I am never quite alone.
The dark voices of the past,
The Images seem to flicker then fade.
I will give them no more pain,
Soon, in rejection, they retreat in vain.
My lot is not cast,
Nor is my fate set in solid stone.
I am strong as the Goddess,
The Maiden, Mother, and Crone.
I am darkness embraced.
I am a wondrous fire.
I am cunning as the fox.
The one who flees from the wolf.
I am Faith defined.
I am Beauty refined.
I am Grace entwined.
I am Fate woven true.
I am the hand of Wrath when you have sinned.
I am the strands of the divine, under my skin.
Life truly can be woven anew.
Guidance from the universe,
In abstract purple hues.
That shimmer and dance,
In the black of the stone.
I look back on my life and see how far I have come.
Out of the darkness comes light.
No more struggling through the night.
As the sun cast its rays, upon the new day,
My mind was no longer in disarray.
The sky opened before me.
A future was bright and clear.
I stood strong in my power.
With no doubt or fear.
Wolf on the Moon.
So many mystical chimes.
One that has crossed,
Through actual Space and Time.
Split aparts, drawn, forever from their core.
Each with their enchanted lore.
Like a shard of ice, that I held in my hand.
Water drips from my fingertips.
Puddling on the place where I stand.
I want a house in the hills.
With Pastures of green.
A place for my horses to run.
Spirited, wild, and free.
Seek Illumination, with all that you are.
Our future is written in the stars. "
Briesef smirked.
Her plan had worked.
They were asleep.
With looks of mirth.
With translucent stillness,
She takes to wing, she's just a dragon,
A complete ornate wonder.
Her piercing scream rends the thunder.
