At the Cafe

It was 5:58 in the afternoon. I was walking in the cafe and was so excited to see a firefly. I was walking inside with my red hair with purple and yellow streaks. I was buying the pudding and water. I started to wait and wait for 3 minutes to get these people get my pudding done. They did. The first place I was waiting in the room, is "Amelia's Creative Cafe."

In the Streets

I finally got my pudding, and water. And then I decided to start waiting for fireflies. The creek isn't that far though. It's almost close to some other place that reports to a place where I can finally see happiness. Luckily, I tried to see what it's like to figure out what it means. It was 34 minutes late and I still didn't make it to the creek to see the fireflies. And then I tried ti make a turn to the curb and I still don't see the creek. It was hopeless. I was craving so hard to see the fireflies. The glow in the yellow, orange, and purple light. The neon looking ones. They don't hurt. But you got to be careful. You can appear in the streets running and seeing what's like. I still have to wait cause I'm almost that close to the creek. Did you see what it is? Yeah. And I will never reveal the secret of me being so impatient that the fireflies can't come. If I didn't get to the creek that fast. No matter what it is. And then I said, "Am I there yet?" Let me guess. No. I have to run fast and hard enough.

Couple Hours

There's no way I'll make it there in time. I was about to shout, scream, or say "WHERE ARE THE FIREFLIES!" I was about to shout or scream, but that'll never work. Guess I'll have to keep running, or walking. Or maybe I can dance along. Because maybe the fireflies will come and take me to a secret place. Then, a couple minutes later, I can't believe I'm going to see a firefly in secret. Because then I have to see the creek, If it's not there. Maybe instead of the creek, it just changes places. Yeah, cause I have to wait, be patient and wait till the fireflies come around to take me on a different place, I know they'll say the creek is too far. Because maybe i'll find another spot where fireflies locate at. The field, bayou, back at my school, my front yard, my backyard, my house, in my room, or maybe at my school yard outside. Or maybe inside the school in the stage. My feet was getting a little tired, I was almost there at some place to get rest. Cause my stomach was growling at the same time. Cause I was walking for too long for the fireflies to see. My weight is getting skinny, I'm getting tall a little bit, and I will stat giving my feet a rest.

Rest Is Over

It's 8:10 in the afternoon, and I was resting for so long, I got up, fix my washed my face with a wet towel, got my vision back, and then got my body ready. I was pumped up. I got back in the cafe. When I look at the window, I saw no one around, nothing but people going inside. Where I was waiting at, ah yes, inside the room where I can rest on, In the cafe where I can see people dancing, having fun, eating, and then the stage came upon in front of me. So the only thing that takes place in the waiting room, Is the "Star dance Cafe."

I got outside and see that I got time to see the fireflies now.

Going Out

I'm outside, my hair is braided in two braids, got my feet ready, my lungs, body, and health and energy. Now I'm ready to see the fireflies. I started going deeper and deeper. I will never give up. You got to be patient if you want to see the fireflies. I stopped. And I hear the music playing at the very end. And I'm so close. Luckily, I see the light flying right past me and I turned. And I will never believe my eyes when I see it. I see another light flying around me and got right in front of my face. I see it. I finally see it. Could it be, a butterfly, a moth, a bird? No, of course not. But what I did see is a firefly. Finally I see it, I see it, I see it. And the firefly was glowing in a yellow light. I can try my best to make it like me. The next firefly came into my palm and saying that I look beautiful. It stared at me in the eyes. Of course, My eyes are emerald green. But what does it mean? Of course.

Secret Talk

I have a secret So that way I can communicate to fireflies. It's the necklace I have. With this, I can really hear what they were saying to me. I used the necklace's spell. "Power Necklace, 3.2.1." Finally I can hear what the firefly is saying in it's own words.

"Greeting's I'm Violet. What's yours?"

"Cress Miners."

Violet: Nice to meet you. What's wrong?

She said, cause she never saw me crying before, a firefly never saw me crying before.

Cress: It's just that, I'm very happy to see you. "

Violet: I'm happy to see you too. Cause you know why?"

Cress: What?

Violet: Something that meaning that you were a very patient girl today.

Cress: I am?

Violet: Yeah, It's like you want to see the fireflies. We'll not just any firefly, we are the fireflies.

Cress: Really?

Violet: Yes. Your human and I'm a firefly.

Cress: What's your secret?

Violet: I'll tell you.

(after the short whisper talk)

Cress: Your human too?

Violet: Yeah.

(music playing)

Violet: You hear that?

Cress: Yes.

Violet: Come on.

The Case Is Solved

We went to the empty field. And I saw nothing around, luckily Violet has a surprise for me. It's very secretive. And I will promise not to spill it out to my friends or family. Cause something is very important. I was so excited to see the fireflies shine. Luckily, Violet came to me, see how patient I am tonight? Yeah, that's the reason.

Violet: Close your eyes.

I got them closed.

(7 minutes later)

Violet: You can open your eyes now.

Cress: Wow.

I see the other fireflies with the instruments, they were drums, piano, a guitar, and the microphones, standing right next to each other. And all I see is orange, yellow and purples everywhere, I see the curtain on the top that says "Firefly." That's really cool. Dat's the one. Yeah, ha ha. I love it. But that's not all. Cause Violet has more surprises. No matter what it is. She called them out.

Violet: Coming all fireflies, 3, 2, 1, let the concert begin, it's time for a song.

A song? I never know that fireflies and all other animals can make sounds of music and the instruments. I never know that animals can really play music. Especially Violet cause she's human on the inside cause she has secrets.

Violet: Hey, and here's one thing.

Cress: What is it?

Violet: Come here.

Cress: What?

Violet: You'll see when we get backstage.

We Got Power

Were backstage and then Violet has to tell me something, something she never said to me before. I was so excited.

Cress: What is it your trying to tell?

Violet: You ready?

Cress: Yes.

Violet: Look in the mirror.

Cress: I can see my self. I see my hair and-

Violet: I like your hair.

Cress: Thank you. I just braided it.

Violet: You don't have to right? I think it's because your hair is changing.

Cress: Changing to what?

Violet: Into colors. Look.

I see extra yellow, and purple in my hair, and I still have red hair.

Violet: And look at your body.

I see the skinny in me, because i pulled my dress behind my back and see the body shape. It's very sexy maybe. It's cute but beautiful.

Cress: I see.

Violet: And look what I got for you in the closet.

I see the yellow tank top, the purple belt with extra glitter, the orange pants, skinny old jeans, and the purple converse. It's very, what we say. Firetastic.

Violet: Come on, put it on.

Cress: Okay.

Secret Reveals

After I got in the outfit, I got out of the closet and started at the firefly.

Violet: You look so pretty.

Cress: Thank you.

Violet: And here's one more thing you never know.

Cress: What?

Violet: You ready for your last one?

Cress: Yep.

Violet: Count down to 3. Repeat after me. 3.

Cress: 3.

Violet: 2.

Cress. 2.

Violet: 1.

Cress: 1.

Violet: Your part of the group.

Cress: Who?

Violet: You.

Cress: (shocked) Really?

Violet: Yep. And here's another reason. "Human Firefly Star, 3, 2, 1."

Boom!

Cress: Your human.

Violet: Yep.

Cress: You look beautiful than before.

Violet: Thank you. And I just want to thank you for coming. Your one my best friends in the world.

Cress: Really?

Violet: Yep. We've met since 3rd grade.

Cress: Thanks Violet your the best.

Violet: Ready?
