Introduction: Hello readers, Mia's here. Fasten your seat belts and allow me to take you into a new world far away from your current location.
The Big Move.
As a child growing up, I was quite fascinated with the act of magic, especially the "Rabbit Out Of The Hat Trick" So as soon as I turned sixteen, I moved in with my Aunt and her husband in Annapolis, a beautiful city in Maryland. In the words of my Aunt, ''Annapolis is a city full of, magic, unconditional love, surprises, and the kindest people'' After three weeks of being in Annapolis, my curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to feel at home, so I became exploring the city alone, and on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, I decided to grab myself an iced coffee and head over to the Northern side of town to do some shopping. I walked into one of the busiest centers in Annapolis admiring the beauty of arts, fashion, and makeup brands, as soon as I turned to my left, I saw a group of young girls and boys talking and having the best time of their lives. I was fascinated with the marbles game and tricks that they were doing, but most importantly the book that one of the young boys was reading titled:" Magic In Annapolis" The little magical book designed with shooting stars and a magic wand captured my attention, me being the curious young lady that I am, I took it upon myself to walk up to them and introduce myself and hopefully ask questions and search for answers
Quote: My curiosity makes my mind active, stronger and better.
I took four steps to get over to the young boy that captured my eyes hoping he notices me.
" Hi, I'm Mia, what an interesting book you are reading," I said.
He lifted his head and our eyes locked. I knew right away he wasn't just an ordinary boy. I needed to know more about him. He smiled at me and introduced himself as T.J.
'T.J. What a unique name, does it stand for anything? I asked
T.J. It's a secret'
'Okay, are you like some secret magician? I jokingly asked.
T.J. ...Haha. Maybe.'
'Alright, I am familiar with the name T.J. Trent Jordan, the youngest Magician in Annapolis, are you related to him by any chance?
T.J. 'Why don't we change the topic and talk about something else over a cup of iced tea, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream? '
"Yeah, of course, sounds like a good plan, I said while smiling. T.J. Stood up and picked up his black backpack and placed the book in the right pocket and zippered it up. T.J. walked into the convenience store to buy two cups of iced tea, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream. I waited outside wondering whether he was Trent Jordan, the magician.
Is He Trent Jordan or Is he not, that is the question.
After two minutes T.J. came out of the convenience store and handed me a chocolate ice cream and sugar-free lemon natural flavor iced tea, we then began walking to sit in the park that was about three minutes away from the convenience store. I wanted T.J. to know more about me, so I decided to share some details about myself. "As I mentioned earlier, my name is Mia, I am new in Annapolis. I attend Fisherstreet 323 High School. My interest and hobbies include spending time with my family, listening to music, meditation to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm, and stable mind, a love for magic, and long walks in beautiful nature. Due to technology people in our society spend most of their quality time indoors, so this makes people so disconnected from their senses, taking long walks in nature increases our well-being.
T.J.- Your life sounds well organized and amazing, Mia. You are absolutely right about technology taking over our lives.
So T.J. What are your hobbies? I am interested in knowing how you keep yourself occupied. I have always been curious about how magicians do the "Rabbit Out Of The Hat Trick. I know magic is all about misdirection, and illusions. I believe magicians manipulate and control what the audience sees. I mean...I could be wrong. What do I know about magic?"
T.J. looked at me as if he knew I was trying to get him to let out his big secret. Staring at him up close made me realize that he was Trent Jordan, the magician, and that my instinct never fails.
T.J: You are not wrong about magic being an illusion, Mia. Magic is all about misdirection and illusions and magicians do manipulate and control what the audience sees. Tell you what- I don't want you hurting your head by thinking whether I am Trent Jordan or not. I am Trent Jordan, the youngest magician in Annapolis, and I perform the Rabbit Out Of The Hat Trick during my live performances. People have always wondered how I do my tricks, but my secret has never been revealed
..... The Rabbit that I use in my show is the real star, he's the reason why I started doing magic. My grandmother and I found Boo-Boo the rabbit abandoned on the street one rainy night while driving home from a Christmas party. Granny and I took him to the Vet until he was strong enough to move around on his own. I then started watching magic performances together with Boo-Boo as a way to entertain us. After a few times of seeing different magicians do their best tricks, I registered Boo-Boo and myself to participate in the youth show, we came in 2nd place, but we kept performing in different shows and trying out new tricks. My Rabbit Out Of The Hat Trick includes Boo-Boo jumping out of the black and white hat with a small red roses bouquet with invisible ear plugs in his ears. I then instruct him to share the red roses with people in the audience, it's a simple, but loveable trick that everyone loves. Every magician is unique, and there are many great magicians out there that have left people's minds blown away with their magic tricks, we may have different tricks under our sleeves, but we all have one thing in common. Everyone tries to put on an unforgettable show for the audience once they step up on stage.'

I like your story. I actually have visited Annapolis, so I can picture what it's like for your character to walk the streets there and visit some of the shops, etc. Nice story.
