Window of Vulnerability

Window of Vulnerability is not a Window of Opportunity.

There are no short cuts.

No one loves to clean up the mess.

Glasses get stomped on, glasses get broken

Haste makes waste

And so do lies.

Waste not want not.

And so do lies.

Just show up? Not exactly.

Making false “nicey nice” is stupid.

Make little difference.

No matter who you are.

What color you “love” or identify with.

Skim or Whole.

Simply saying “hello” is nothing more than saying “hello.”

Spend more than a minute in the trenches with another.

And then come talk to me.

It is the way it should be.

Although money talks while a person stalks.

On line or in line. Makes no difference.

Begin to originate. Build up your streetwise street cred.

And not necessarily your “brand”

Credibility. The defender of defense. The defender of vulnerability.

Opportunity without the other is just that, an opportunity. The hard work comes next.

The offense of not making sense.

Multi-faceted.

Multi-storied.

Until then, tossing money at something is just that.

Tossing it.

Believe in someone or something greater than yourself.

Due process is a “thing”. Not dealing with it when it happens.

Heart breaking.

Walking through life in a fog of deceipt is not the receipt you may think gets you what you want.

The coupon you want to redeem. Does the trick in short cut the short run.

Some people really, really do not want to take advantage of another. Really. Truly. Madly. Honestly.

A friend is a present you may bestow upon yourself.

A real friend, a good friend has your back, heart and well being in a place in their heart.

Nice!

A nice place to exist, live and just “be”.

At certain times, we are all vulnerable. To particulars. Defensive measures are diminished, compromised, or lacking. Either physically or emotionally. (Wk) We are all there at some point in our existences.

Best to know who is driving the vehicle. Analysis of risks of the various social and environmental vulnerabilities involves all groups of persons, old, young, middle.Vulnerability links. Vulnerability links the relationship that people have with their environment to social forces.(Wk)

Dear God. Help us all. Whether or not we kneel and fold our hands at the end of the day or not ask yourself:

Are you an involute or a convolute. Are you, have you become so convoluted you have absolutely no idea. No ideals? Reach into your pockets, deep or not, and just toss whatever, where-ever. I think we are unfortunately, there.

In a place of hazard. Moral hazard. The decay of all decay. Socially vulnerable persons respond to multiple stressors and shocks, including abuse, exclusion and natural hazards IE/ “Acts of God”

Acts of God CAN be a good thing ya know. Acts of kindness, acts of honesty, acts of contrition. As in “I am sorry”. For me. For You. For Us.

Erroneously believing another will take care of it is an error. A bias, a heuristic of the worst order. Thinking vulnerability is in place before the symptoms of disorders start to appear—high neuroticism to name one.

Not to be confused with drama. Drama is acting. Drama is fake, Right? Mental illness is not. Fake. There is no magical pill. Anxiety is not associated with selective orientation.

Adaptive ly-focused to stay on the straight and narrow, but destined to repeat patterns of non sensical actions, words, deeds.

Climate change is not really a thing, but a thing. It is defined as the propensity or predisposition to be adversely affected. Human and ecosystem vulnerability is interdependent.

You can still maintain your independence. Not stay on empty. On an empty-promise-kind-of-path.

Uncertainty, risk and emotional exposure can de-rail even the strongest of individuals.

Vulnerability is our most accurate measure of courage.(bb) No one has to fear punishment in order to behave (ct). It may be a place to start a conversation, but a horrendous way to end one. It is the way things fall apart.

Regulation. Accountability. In the olden days, we used to learn these lessons in the home, from our parents.

Where in heck are they being learned and taught today? My fear is on the streets.

Vulnerability in the military is a subset of survivability. The others being susceptibility and recoverability.

Recoverability.

Ponder. Think. Focus. Let that stew or marinate in the corners of your mind. Reminder: There are no short cuts. Like adding a pound of salt to soup to make it tasty. Only raises blood pressure, clogs this or that and dogs and fogs the mind.

Invulnerability exists only in the cave of the superhero’s who choose to fight it head on. Choosing to. It hide in the cave, but to come out of it and duke it out until the bitter end.

There is only one God-mode. And it is not present on or in the spiffy-est of video games. This I know for sure. No real “power ups” cheats can be accomplished on or in a fantasy mode either.

Risk taking is risk taking. Young minds may think they must test the limits, prove their infallibility. But a reasonable adult must reign in their thoughts, words and actions. The stakes are becoming dire for our youth.

Once and if we sell the order of our court and legal and due process process, we are all doomed. In real life. In real time. Really. This is not fake. At all. There are a few good men out there.

Men.

With priorities, vulnerabilities, opportunities. And through it all they behave as men. Who will fight the good fight even if and when we are our most fearful. Help built up the resilience in our core to share with more.

Adversity + Positive Adaptation = Resilience.

Avoid the risk taking simply because of the consequences. There may not be enough opportunity to enforce the accountability of the moment because we all forget where we were going, supposed to be and/ or headed in the first place.

Vulnerability is a window we look out of to test the waters of life, but quickly put ourselves back behind, sometimes stay behind because we feel more “safe”. We do not want to be “attacked” by the next person who decides to say,

”Hello”.
