Adventure Christian Teens & Young Adult

A “Lucky” Seven

A Divine Intervention

A Seismic Shift

Desperate times call for desperate measures?

Not in My Father’s house.

The placards placed carefully throughout my Father’s house as a daily reminder to us reads:

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures.

From us. Through Him. To you.

Bring it on.

Put your mettle to the pedal and see how you do. I follow a different path. I am walking with the Young People on the Move. I like their message, their messaging. To remember serving the Older People while they may be slowin’ down. A permanent state of Exodus?

Depends on you.

And me.

I prefer to pray for legit peace for you through Him.

Keep peddlin’ as you wish.

Extraordinary times require of us to step up. Step up to move. To move to a better place in heart and mind. In words, deeds, and actions. In mystery, mysterious times we celebrate this opportunity. In trust. In belief. We are able and capable to do so.

Through Him.

Walking or peddling?

I choose to walk on.

With Him

Through Him

Side by side with Him.

How?

Our voice. Our voice and many means of communication require of us to use them with due diligence AND in the best interests of others-our brothers and sisters through Him. Our familial and cultural roots teach us this indeed. (PF) Our culture, the culture we may have roots in, grown up in, forms us as a present person. A person who is present in the trials and tribulations as well as the joys of others. Of our brothers and sisters.

To be present is a present you present in the present.😀

The rituals within our families is where the gospel of our Lord tastes like home. Where the Father is ever changing and ever new.

New. Fresh. Alive.

A dogmatic way of thinking. Is really. An inclination to lay down principles as incontrovertibly true. This thinking only feeds a few. A pronouncement IS a voice, a hearing is a feast day that speaks forever. Historical liturgical documents wrote that in and around 1969 of the Liturgical year, we were all invited to join our King in reaching our personal destination to hear of our earthly pilgrimage.

Did we hear? Did we understand?

How do we/did we communicate?

Our ears. She heard. And she listened. Who did?

Mary. The Mother of all mothers. (snickering allowed as I realize some of your youngsters are not yet full developed)

Seriously though.

We remember.

Mary arose with haste. Upon learning she, as a teen, was with child. The Savior of mankind. Overwhelming for certain. Such a young person tapped to spread the word of God. Not only the word. But thoughts, deeds and actions.

My goodness.

Yes.

My goodness.

Mary arose with haste. Did not become paralyzed by or with fear. In this moment of awakening, Mary began the path of “The path of proximity and encounter”. (PF) Rose to the challenges that lied before her to live a best life through her Son. Her mission was to live a New Life within her, to give life. Some of us also bear this mission within us through baptism. (PF).

Mary had already bore the lamb that was slain. Extraordinary. Yes. A new path as an Accolite—A server, companion, follower through the Son of God. Firmly holding words, deeds and actions close to the heart while fighting doubt and despair.

Fighting the visible versus the invisible.

Extraordinary. Yes. A mystery. No doubt.

When her son was nailed to a cross, thorns on his head. Stripped of clothing, reviled by townspeople, jeered at by Soldiers, mocking him, denied food, clothing, water. “Save Yourself” was the message, the thought.

Quite the opposite within Jesus mind. He wanted to save. Because he knew he had been raised and saved by a strong person, who encompassed strong hands and very strong heart. One who proved she could “Hold it together” while “Keeping it together”.

Jesus invited his enemies to rediscover their intentions.

Extraordinary. Yes. A mystery. No doubt.

How? Did this path open up? Through Jesus and his ability to show inside out what He was “made of”. Through his mother’ richness in love and constant, unwavering courage.

His mother was that extreme. Because she believed.

In goodness.

And in The Richness of Love (PF) Avoidance of taking the path of pointing a finger at no one and opening arms to everyone. No one should ever feels stripped of their dignity. Enter the black holes of hatred and abandonment. Never. Even if and while being jeered, mocked and smeared. (PF)

Save Yourself?

Keep peddling’ Your choice.

In stalwart, steadfast and steward-like- beliefs, there are two paths.

A) The On-lookers

B) The Goodness (not to be confused with “do-gooders”)(PF)

The on- lookers stand around and watch. They do not take a step forward. Indifference causes them to be paralyzed at times. Some others, as did the Soldiers who mocked Jesus on the cross did, they stand around, want the moment “over with”, so they can go home. They figured, if you are the King, then save yourself. The townspeople mocked the pitiful nature with which Jesus was presented.

Evil is contagious (PF) The lethal infection of indifference. Good news. God never gets tired. He puts us on our feet. Our God is not an unknown God. Our God, through Mary is close tender, merciful and compassionate.

Not contagiously evil. Does not take refuge in excuses. With confidence in trust and intercession draws the Lord’s attention, and opens the gates of heaven.(PF)

You can live in paradise but you cannot drink the water, reply the naysayers. This was avoided by Mary who did arise with haste. To her calling. Avoid demonstrations of A Rosewater Christian. A superficial act of regard. A do-gooder to look good.

Look them square in the eyes. Take the risk for our own faith.

Become what you ask?

A Good Thief. A thief who robs another of their own discontent and offers a hand to walk on the path of Goodness. Doubts and all.

Trust. Blocks Indifference. Confidence. Blocks doubt. Learn to intercede. For Goodness Sake.

The rest and the rest is a part of the extraordinary mysteries that are unexplainable. What lies ahead. Who knows? The future is never written in stone. Take the goodness path.

Remember. The Good. A Good Thief. The gift that keeps on giving.
