Drama Fiction Funny

Sometimes words are too much to say, this could be case in this scenario, with two people have a basic conversation, which becomes more like an explosive argument about who knows what, unless you follow it from the beginning.

Let's listen in on their chatting between each other......

"Hey, Bert, what are you doing?"

"What do you mean, what am I doing?"

"You spying on me or something?"

"Hey Bert, are being paranoid or something?"

"I might be just wondering what you want by contacting me on my private line, that I did not want you to contact me on"

"So Oliver, what did you want, and this ungodly hour?"

Hey Bert, you just ain't acting like you usually do". "Seems like you are hiding something from me, or better you are trying to keep me out of what you are doing". Geez Bert".

"So Oliver, you are the one being paranoid here". "By the way, Oliver, I want to thank you for allowing me to "take over" in caring for your wife's needs and wow has been good to me too".

"Wait Bert". "Are you saying that you are over at my house, enjoying my wife and not the least bit feeling guilty about it". "Say Bert, some damn friend, you are".

"Speaking about that, you damn right, I am enjoying this and you better believe this, that you and I were never friends". "Not friends at all".

"You are real piece of BS". "You fooled me into thinking that we was friends, and that we were doing well with this friendship". "And yes I am imaging the worst, after what you just said".

"It was worth the effort, since your wife, is not your wife and I am not Bert, I am too busy to continue this conversation, much less this friendship". "I have nothing new to share and say with you, or to you".

A moments silence.......

"Wait what are you saying Bert?"

Still nothing, but silence........

Then without warning, there a loud noise, coming from next door, which was heard by Oliver and he was concerned.

"So you think you know what has been going on, much less what is going on now?"

"Is this Bert?" "What just happened?"

"You know nothing". "You have never knew anything". "You could very never learn anything".

"Wait, who is this?" "Is this some kind of joke?"

"Just shut up". "Your problem has been taken care of and you can stop worrying".

"This isn't funny anymore, whoever you are, put Bert back on".

You can say goodbye to your friend, your wife, and even your own life". "That's if you don't leave well enough alone".

Then the silence. The deadly silence. The moment when you realize the silence happens before the end is so close and so near.

The phone rang. The voice on the other end, possibly could be Bert's, but it was nothing but silence. Then the texting started again.

"So Oliver, did you realize what Bert was and what he did?"

"What did you do to Bert?" "How can I know that you did anything to him?"

"Why don't you come over here and find out?"

"Well I might just do that, but I am not sure if I will?"

"If you don't, you will never know, and you may regret it too".

Then the silence. The deadly silence.

Oliver decided to head over to the room next door, through the door that divided the rooms.

Oliver slowly opened the door, into the connecting room, and saw that his former friend, Bert was sitting in a chair close to the door, with two shots in the chest.

Oliver was heading towards a couch, and saw his wife there too, sitting upright with two bullets to her chest.

Oliver turned around to leave, when two shots were fired, into his chest. Oliver fell where he stood and slowly his eyes closed.

The mysterious man, Mr. Postier, bent down to check for any signs of life, and finding none, rose up and left the room hastily. He reached in his pocket, retrieved his phone. He started texting to his contact.

"Hey the job has been handled, with no witnesses". "Lets meet at the appointed location, ASAP".

Soon someone replied, "which one is closer?" "You choose in 5".

It was silence. It was deadly silence. It was then met with a loud bang, with the area filled with smoke and small fires.

Mr. Postier realized that when he mentioned no witnesses, that would include him too. He was hiding near a dumpster, to use for cover. He had to be careful to stay alive and make it to the location they had agreed on.

Mr. Postier, started running, faster and faster, until he was met with rapid gun fire and one hit him in the leg. He knew then they had spotted him and were trying to kill him on the street.

While Mr. Postier laid on the sidewalk, bleeding and making a mess, two men stood over him. They were about to finish Mr. Postier off, for good, when two shots were fired, upward, killing off the guy on the right. Then simultaneously two more shots were fired, at the guy on the left, who fell also, on top of his partner.

Then Mr. Postier, started to rise up, using the bench, to help him to be sitting upright. He was trying to light a cigarette, smoking and trying to relax.

Then, two more men, approaching, drawing guns to finish off Mr. Postier, got close enough to put three bullets in the back of Mr. Postier head, who slumped forward.

The larger guy, Mr. Joshuan, opened up his cell phone, and kept the text short and simple.

"All witnesses removed". "The "Threat" has been displaced". "No need to come down to see". "Pictures sent. see them. then destroy phone."

The silence. The deadly silence. The calm before the storm.

The last text sent. "Five seconds before this phone self destructs". "No need to keep this, for fear of being "snubbed out". "If you value your life, remove at once". "Or else".
