It’s o.k.

To admit when we don’t get it.

Otherwise.

We may, indeed get it.

And. Then some.😔

Understandably understandable.

Huh.

Yeah. I thought so. That you may agree with me, even if just a little bit.

Seeking the truth and dodging it can or may come at great experiential expense. Mostly emotionally, a little bit mental, and a lot a bit crazed. Time passes.Energy wanes. Life happens.

In between when we are not really noticing life biting us at the ankles. In the meantime, lies take on a life of their very own, waiting in the wings to grab you, tackle you, pounce on you, eat you alive.

Worst of all.

Pile on💩

You🫵🏻.

It stinks.

Literally.

Figuratively.

Any which way, but

Loose.😳

Until then. We attempt to plod along with a facade of a joiner mentality. When the wonderful experience of being looked right through sinks in, it simply stinks.

Stinks to high heavens even

Thank God and thank thank goodness.

That IS where the stink does indeed,

STOP.

Until then.

Keep leaping ‘bove the piles and smile on.

Good to knkw: Who has your back, your important backs.

It is good to know where we came from.

More important—To never forget.

What may happen in the interim can chart the course of life for the rest of it—leaving others in the dust of the dustings.

At the hands of opportunity meant and left for

Someone else.

Destiny is a fickle beast.

Tall tales are an invitation ask questions. Lotsa them. Annoying them. The answer givers. Get the answers however possible. But in the end.

Get it. The answers. Before long, life has passed by. So quickly. Life goes faster the older we get—this is a mathematical equation worth keeping in the back of the mind.

Sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck.

Really.

Don’t just take it from me.

Ask questions. Lotsa them. Annoying them. The answer givers. Get your answers however possible. But in the end.

Don’t be mean. Mean what you say.

There is no such thing as a small act of kindness.

Driving someone to the brink and then taking their cookies is mean.

Telling a lie and then passing it off as truth is mean.

Makes no difference if the cookies make it past the lips, once they land in the stomach, they will just churn away and burn away at all happiness.

And.

Leave behind a gaping hole.

Of sadness.

Dissatisfaction.

Emptiness.

Filling it up.

How will I know?

If he really loves me?

He does🙏🏻

Not everyone will, though.

Find us everything they hoped for.

Non truths we hear, over hear, and strain to hear, mayb all fall into the mean camp. Keeping the mouth shut? Cuts off the air supply. The spinning caves in the gut. Shouting louder hurts the ear drums.

Machines break.

Hearts break too.

Wrong tools may wrench and screw.

Kick backs hurt in the keester.

Sharpen the tools needed. And all will be ok. In the long run. The long haul.

Honesty may be the best policy.

Even if and especially with 24/7 surveillance of all we do, day in and day out.

Wishing we made friends with someone before does not make the after any easier.

The difference. The differences?

To be honest is to be real, genuine, authentic, and bona fide.

To be dishonest is to be partly feigned, forged fake, or fictitious.

Honesty expresses both self-respect AND respect for others with openness, reliability, candor as the sharpened tools.

It expresses a disposition to live the light (wjb)

Good to know: Every social activity, every human enterprise requiring people to act in concert, is impeded when people aren’t honest with one another. (wjb)

Kinda like an honest days work for an honest day’s pay. Adults were young once. Search and seek for the best of the best tool keepers. Look closely at the surroundings.

“Search its squares and see if you can find one person who acts justly and seeks truth.” (wjb) Honesty is best cultivated and best developed and exercised, the more it becomes a settled disposition. Otherwise, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

How?

The real question is How best?

To make it or break it—honesty.

TAKE IT SERIOUSLY.

Repeat.

TAKE IT SERIOUSLY.

Take it, not as the best policy. Take it seriously in and of itself.

Take it from a dog.😃 They do not know how to lie. Just dig, squat and bury😏.

What’s the difference?

Per Immanuel Kant, there is all the moral difference in the world between taking the condition of one’s self seriously and taking pains not to get caught.

Catch me if you can?

No.

Nope.

No way.

Focus on what really matters: The kind of person one is. Seek them out. Grab a hold (not literally physically, but metaphysically)🙂

Embrace their mind, their actions, in your mind. If you hear and do not understand. Ask a hundred questions, a thousand even. Do not walk away until satisfied the needs of another have been met. In the best of the best possible and honest way.

If you KNOW in your heart of hearts you did all you could to seek, hear and say the truth, the facts will not be tipping point of a foundation of growth. An honest heart will always find friends. (Once again, ask the dog😊)

Facts. Instead of driving the apple cart, can merely come along for the ride—fitting in with the imperfections, blushed cheeks and embarrassment of the human framework. Of a life well lived.. They, facts, will only be a part of the picture. It is honest to admit, we could all improve somehow, somewhere, with someone— cheering us along.

Even the Father of the USA, George Washington, learned the truth about truth telling. He then grew up to became a Father of a country, a founding father of one of the greatest countries ever.

USA.

Persons do unimaginable things to come to the USA, even more unimaginable to stay on and lives in its greatness.

George Washington almost did not learn the lesson. Of honesty. As. A boy, he had a cutting tool alright. A hatchet. As a little boy, he wanted to try it out for size. He hacked away (kinda clipping away like that of a bad haircut)😣

While hacking away, George cut into pieces a cherry tree that his father had just received as a gift from across the ocean. A fruit tree. With hopes of connections and light.

When George’s father discovered the tree in pieces, he asked George if he cut the tree. George’s head was bent and his cheeks were red from shame.

To his Father, he uttered THREE important, ownership words: “I am sorry.”

Mr. Washington put his hand on the boy’s shoulder. “Look at me he said, “I am sorry to have lost my cherry tree, but I am glad you were brave enough to tell me the truth.” I would rather have you truthful and brave than to have a whole orchard full of the finest cherry trees.

Honesty must be caught and handed onward by the wise.
