An Act of God.
For certain.
It’s all about the weather.
Not so certain.
Parry Seight flies around. Has for quite awhile now. Freely. Flies freely as of now, but for how much longer?
Only God knows.
Really?
Yes. Really.
Parry Seight has been perusing the shelves of our existence and emptying them at an alarming rate. Before we even knew what was happening, Parry Seight was plotting to settle the score, even the score. And keep the narratively buggy-ness going, on and on and on. Exhaustingly even.
Playing God is just that. Concocting potions, lotions and notions to keep us healthy. Playing. Playing with the lives of others.
A parasite. Itchy, scratchy, sometimes infectious. Whether it be created or organic. Parry Seight should not have been allowed to roam around the common or marital roses with destruction rubbing on its beady little wings. While spending zero time putting in the effort in the trenches.
Not fair. Yet Parry Seight is out there.
Still.
The Bible is the truest medicinal dictionary around. The best book of the day. Time to plant your garden? Of what, though….. carrots, raspberries, tomatoes? Hmmmm.
Parry Seight flies around…waiting for your decision. Ready to pounce, like a cat, onto the leaves of your lives. Parry does not respect the institution. So, why is Parry Seight even here?
Parry likes to hop around the dating scene to see what is most tasty. Always in pursuit, dive bombing, and no where near in defense of marriage. Too inconvenient. Never committing. Behaving, acting like a Parry-like bug—infesting, intruding into sacred Unions of other’s lives. Yep. Just to mess with the, mess them up. And Parry Seight is relentless.
But so are you.
Because doing one’s own homework is beneficial. Knowing your leaves is now “a necessary” in life and life’s existence. Free is not always free and not always free. Parry Seight likes to think flying free is the only way to hover, and learn.
But Parry is incorrect.
Fyi.
The fresh leaf is a symbol of prosperity. Yes. Prosperity. In Psalms 1:3; Jeremiah 17:8; Ezekiel 47:12); the faded, of decay (Job 14:25; Isaiah 1:30; 64.6; Jeremiah 8:13). Leaf of door (1 Kings 6:34), the value of a folding door. Leaf of a book (Jeremiah 36:23), perhaps a fold of a roll. (Wk)
Parry Seight has messed this up. So Parry Seight is on its own. Until and if it comes looking for you…….Be alert.
Ezekiel 47:12 (CSB) All kinds of trees providing food will grow along both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear fresh fruit because the water [comes] from the sanctuary. The fruit will be used for food and their leaves for medicine.
God gives us the use of plants and herbs for curative care, both physical and emotional.
The psalm of the Scriptures is the “date palm”. Dates have always been an important food and the date palm is referred to many times in the Bible.
Huh?😳
In olden times (sorry kiddos, here I go again) To share a meal with someone was sometimes referred as a “date”. Like, in, “you wanna go on a date?” To eat a date?…. I am confused. About the many meanings of the word date……todays date is….December….2022 AD?….
Are we eating leaves for dinner? Salad?🥬🥬A dinner salad? On this date.😳
How does God know what is better, what is healthier for me?
Dr. God knows all. It is safe to say, that although God creates and loves all creatures. Even cat-like Parry Seight ones, God has a partiality to
Dogs.
🐶
Why? And.
How come?
A legend.
A tree.
The Legend of the Dogwood Tree.
One of the most unique of the old legends handed down in the South is the story of the Dogwood Tree. The Dogwood Tree is a beautiful little tree that explodes in white blossoms each spring. it grows across the South and is popular as a yard tree, but is also grows wild in the woods across the region.(Wk)
How cool is that. Both prim and proper and a wild child!
The legend holds that the tree was once very large, like a Great Oak tree, and because its wood was strong and sturdy, provided material for a variety of purposes. According to the story, it was the dogwood tree that provided the wood used to build the cross on which Jesus was crucified.
God is Dog spelled backwards.
The two have always had a relationship.
They challenged one another. To get and stay real.
The kind of loyalty one doesn’t find just
Anywhere, anytime, with anyone.
Surely not with any Parry-like-Seight.
Even if and when the other thought the other was “backwards”.
Because of its role in the crucifixion, it is said that God both cursed and blessed the tree. It was cursed to forever be small, so that it would never grow large enough again for its wood to be used as a cross for a crucifixion. Its branches would be narrow and crooked—not good for building at all.(Wk)
At the same time, however, the tree was blessed so that it would produces beautiful flowers each spring, just in time for
Easter. The time of the rise.
To remember God’s promise to the tree it is said he gave it a few traits so that whoever looks upon it will never forget.
How cool is that?
The petals of the dogwood actually form the shape of a cross. Upon close examination, it can be seen that the blooms of the tree always have four petals.
The middle of the Dogwood flower has a tight grouping of resembling a “crown of thorns”. And the tips of each of the petals are indented, as if they bear a nail dent. there are even colors in the petals that bring to mind the drops of blood that spilled during the crucifixion. (wk)
Hallelujah.
How cool is this?
Wait a second. Did I say Yes? Did I say No? To the date. The date palm. To the date of leaf eating with you? What does this mean? So, To be on the safe side…..the date now turns from leaves to lattes…….Just to be on the safe side?
As in:
”Wouldya like to Latte Later?
Huh?😵💫
With me?
What does that even mean?
Eat a coffee bean together?
A cocoa leaf,
A tea leaf,
I never said I was gonna marry—You.
Because respect for marriage is sacred, in God’s house, in God’s eyes. May not be in your neck of the woods Parry Seight. No matter how much you fly me around. Freely, Fly around yourself with your infectious guilt-ridden objections to marriages that you find offensive—-to you. A sneaky way to embed yourself into the existence of others?
Ugh.
No way Parry Seight. It is time for me to go. To bed. Mine. Not yours. Best wishes on your next hover. Your next “setting your sights, setting your seights” on another someone, somewhere.
I am tired of you now. So, to you Parry Seight I say,
good night, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite🐝🦟🐜🪰🪰🦎
