Drama Fantasy Fiction

"Nerds and Governments around the world scramble as they are looking for special dice sets that supposedly allow a user to become a magical being. How these dice are made, why they exist, and why only now we're made aware of these are questions that still need to be answered." said the news reporter. "I still can't believe that God allowed for their existence to be known," said Nick. "Well it was only a matter of time, however, it does seem early to me." replied the angel. "Well, at least the atheists have no excuse now. This is the proof that they can't deny," said Jack with a smug look on his face. "No, they'll just find another excuse or they'll change their tune on some of their beliefs." said the angel. "So are we just going to keep doing what we normally do or what?" asked Arron. "Keep doing what we're doing. Jesus has yet to return, which means there is still a lot of work to be done." answered the angel. The group was sitting in front of a TV at white gaming tables. After some time Nick looked at his phone and began to pack up. "Crap, I got swim practice see you guys later." He was showered with goodbyes as he left. Shortly after Arron's Dad came to pick up Arron. "Hello everyone." hellos echo back. "Arron, your mother is picking up Sis and Mia from chorus practice and will meet at home, are you ready?" he asked. "Yes," responded Arron. "Goodbye, guys," said Arron. "Goodbye," said Jack and the angel as Arron left.

For days the news was filled with reports and stories of people getting dice sets and becoming magical beings. Some used them to commit crimes and evils while others used them for good and bring justice. The Dice Changers had been one such group. Yet this did not stop anti-dice sentiment as people freaked out about how to control or stop people from using the dice sets. One preacher began to get famous for condemning anyone who used the dice. He called them the "The Devil's minions" he would gather crowds of the fearful and televised demonstrations of him "purifying" people who used the dice sets. He began to tour around the country spreading false accusations. Then he came within driving distance of the Dice Changers who showed up causing even more chaos.

As the preacher was making up lies and executing his demonstrations. Jack yelled "Liar! Do you really think these dice sets are evil? How do you know so much about them, if you dare not touch them? Have spoken to someone who has tried the make the world a better place because of these gifts." Nick and Arron tried their best to stop Jack but couldn't. "You see people, This youth has been corrupted by the dice sets and is attacking a Lord's servant." cried the preacher. "Are you an idiot? I worship the same God you do, I just have different gifts than you, a different way of worshipping, a different kind of calling," said Jack, he then turned into Kamoss "See the corruption has made him think that he's doing the Lord's work when in reality he is doing Satan's work." cried the preacher. "Let me show you all the power of God's grace and mercy." the preacher started to walk down the aisle. Kamoss marched forward to meet him. "In the name of Jesus Christ, I send you to Hell, you fowl creature!" yelled the preacher, but nothing happened. "See, why would God curse me, if I am doing his work. Doesn't make sense does it?' asked Kamoss. The preacher repeated his statement over and over again, but nothing happened. He even poured holy water on Kamoss and still nothing happened. "Are you done yet, because you have tried to curse me, humiliate me, and slander me but is that not what our King went through? Is that not what the Pharisees did to him? You are either a fool and a liar, or a wolf in sheep's clothing, but I'll your audience decide that." Kamoss then walked back to his seat and turned back into Jack.

The preacher's whole platform crumbled after that. Similar instances happened throughout the nation. In one incident a preacher was preaching only to be punched in the face by a magical being who was an elfish wizard. Other religious nuts experienced other circumstances like death threats, beatings, and magical beings showing off their power. The Dice Changers fought both sides. People called them traitors, and others thought they were playing both sides, however this did not affect them. They kept doing what they've been doing.

Scientists were constantly discovering things about the dice and publishing paper after paper. Debates online and offline were being held as people on both sides yelled at each other. They were arguing over the studies and whether or not the results were genuine or not. The Dice Changers offered clarity and understanding whenever needed. Only again to be labeled as traitors and idiots. The news covered each of these stories as much as they could. For every story they covered five more showed up. The Dice Changers also tried to follow as many stories as possible but even for them, they were overwhelmed.

Meanwhile, the Dice Changers continued their mission to help people and bring justice. They took down more cults and more preachers like before. People were coming all over to get advice and train under the Dice Changers. Even at school people would secretly meet with them at lunch, or make sly comments during class. The world fell into chaos once again but it was the Dice Changers who became the light in the darkness. Many groups similar to them began popping up and doing good, freeing people, and fighting cults. Several of them made national news for certain events involving drug busts, exposing criminals, and freeing people from corrupt officials. The dice sets didn't change the world, they just changed how people saw Christians, and how they viewed the world. That would change as a series of events would once again spark outcry and make things worse as a result.
