Fiction Adventure Friendship

Introduction

Hello, I am the sidekick of the hero, some might know, Superman. My name is mostly unknown to humans. Every time I do something, Superman has been stealing my fame and glory so much in the past couple of years that the only people who know my name is Superman and my own family. Even though I became Superman's sidekick I still couldn't gain any sort of fame. So in preparation I have been training to climb the ranks of heroes and defeat Superman in raw power, talent, and fame while still being his sidekick.

Present Time

"I have to keep trying to defeat Superman!" I once said and there I was training, training to become and defeat the best of the best, Superman. I have been trying to use my new move called Blast which fits my name, Blast. It allows me to create explosions from my feet, my palms, anywhere! I think it is fit to be my special move. At the time I had to patrol the streets for villains with Superman, which maybe I could prove myself and save someone before Superman.

Patrol

Patrolling was horrible with Superman, I failed to get glory even once. He was too fast and solved all the accidents. To the civilians I was just some nobody who just followed Superman like vermin. Tomorrow there would be another patrol, but this time I would save someone before Superman does. Today is another patrol. Things went horrible, but I managed to get a fan and save someone from a robot before Superman! The victim of the robot was a small child. He was very thankful for me saving him. He had said that he would remember me to his grave, then I told him my name, Blast. This was the start of becoming a independent hero, not a nobody, it was kindling to a bigger flame, or the start of Blast.

Training

6 months had passed.... I had trained and trained, but after countless attempts I saved someone yet again in 6 months. Not just one someone, but 3. They all turned out to be traveling down South in their car, but a tree was tilting and almost collapsed on the car if I didn't intervene. The people were a boy and a mother and father. I had also learned many moves, I also learned something I called Blitz Dash. It allows me to move very fast almost like I'm swimming in air, but I can only maintain it for 5 seconds. I also got stronger all physically and mentally.

Creation of the Hero Blast

I finally made the decision to become a independent hero better than Superman. I trained even more of the months and was able to control Blitz Dash and my new move called Blasting Bombs that set up invisible bombs that when you would touch you would explode.

Teacher

When I tried to train I wasn't getting better so I thought I needed a teacher who could teach me up to the point where I could save Superman. I found one and his name was simply Hero. He trained me so hard that in some lessons I thought I would be knocked out by his grueling training. We trained for only 1 month, but I felt immensely strong, but not strong enough to beat Superman.

Emergency

When in the middle of training I heard the siren go off in my phone that means that there is a strong villain rampaging the cities. Now is my time to prove that I am better than Superman! I used Blitz Dash to go to the emergency telling Hero that I would be back` soon. When I got to the spot there was no Superman in sight. That was unusual for him since he always was up for the job no matter the cost, but I still tried to defeat the villain, and actually defeated him. Everyone thanked me for defeating him, but I had an empty feeling of regret that Superman wasn't there.

Investigation

Something was off about Superman since he wasn't doing any hero activities and nobody had seen him in a long time. So, I decided to investigate it. I already knew where Superman's hideout was since I had been his sidekick. I went to it and found that it was very camouflaged and protected by barriers instead of the usual open hideout so other heroes could come and go inside of his hideout. I had access to his hideout since I knew the password. I went in and all the lights were off and I couldn't see a thing. I heard something inside of Superman's room. It was him muttering. I only heard bits and pieces of his muttering, but I heard Dark, or Control over.. I heard him walking towards the door when I was still listening. My heart beated 2x as fast as before, I had to get out quick, but then I remembered my new move called Camouflage, and it allowed me to go invisible. I turned invisible when Superman walked out of his door. I turned to look at him, his hair was disheveled, his eyes were red and everything was odd about him. While still being invisible I left the scene without him noticing.

The Fight

I dug deep and confronted Superman at the same day, but at night I put a note on his room door saying "I know your secret." I had reported his strange activity to the other heroes and police and they found out that it was connected to the Dark Hero, Cryptic. I had planned on fighting him and ending his ties with the Dark Hero. I knocked and he looked at me alarmed, then he regained his footing. "Hello old friend" said Superman. I grimaced and ran towards to an open area where we could fight. He followed me and then we fought. It was a hard battle, his lasers were darker and stronger than before. He had new albitites probably from the Dark Hero. I was about to be defeated when reinforcements arrived to help me. Superman was overwhelmed and was defeated. We sent him to jail and I on the other hand was praised all over the hero community.

The End

After all that I ventured out to become a great hero, not the sidekick I used to be for Superman.
