"Okay, I'll do it." The words kept replaying in her. Her, stupid, stupid words.

All It did was remind her why she was about to let some random woman she barely knew poke a needle in her ear. Because of a dare, of course. One she was already regretting saying yes to. Not only had she been convinced to do not one but four piercings, but she also couldn't have her friends in here since they were also getting piercings. To say the least, she was freaking out.

Okay, so, how had she gotten here?

Well, that was a story, but oh well what's there to lose? She's already doing something she's clearly going to regret. Plus, maybe it would help get her mind off the needle coming inevitably closer to her ear by the minute.

Okay then, here's what happened.

3 hours earlier....

"C'mon Ari! It's not that bad! Ask Ara, she likes it!" Ari looked over to where Ara was standing in her signature white blouse with a corset and jean short mashup, though unlike normal her black hair was in an half up half down style, she didn't really look interested.

"I don't know...It's not really my thing." Ari answered, wishing she was the orange tabby cat in her lap instead of a person having to decide whether or not to go to a party.

"And I get that, I really do, but could you do it for us! Just this once we won't ask again!" Okay, so Aell is getting desperate. Why do they want her to go to this slumber party so bad? Aell had been pestering her about this for almost 30 minutes now. 30 minutes.

"Look, Ari, what Aell is trying to say, is that it'll be fun, nothing bad will happen!" Ara assured walking over to the bed and putting out her hand to the cat. She smiled down at the cat as it came closer to her so she could pet it.

"But something could..." Yeah, well it could. She wasn't wrong,

"But it won't! Please say yes I don't want you to miss out again!" Ara reassured, pausing petting the cat to pull on her desperately.

"You have the others, it won't be that bad without me." She was right Ara did have them, so did Aell. It still confused her why the two liked her so much.

"But I won't have you. Plus, don't you understand how unbearable they can be!?!" Ara was really reaching now. Sure, she had met some of her friends before, but they seemed pretty chill. She was about to say no again when she saw the puppy dog eyes Ara was giving her.

She sighed, "Fine, but only this once!" She insisted glaring softly down at her, only to get her point across though. Though it didn't seem to phase her.

"Yes!" The small girl tackled her into a hug, scaring the cat off the bed, not out of the bag, don't get those confused.

"I'm still here!" Apparently, Aell wasn't happy about what Ara was insinuating about them.

"Shut up!" She was not ruining this weird moment. It barely did anything as Aell just stopped talking and making exaggerated motions with their hands.

Ara untangled herself from the girl and sat up smiling at her, "Oh my gosh! We have to get you an outfit! Aell play the music!" Aell grabbed their phone and looked up with a sarcastic questioning look.

"Which one? The montage one or the 'they wouldn't be able to make this a montage if we're in a show' music?" Aell asked raising a brow in her direction.

'Excuse me, what? I feel like I heard that wrong.'

"The second one!" Ara answered rolling her eyes and sticking out her tongue at them. Okay, so she didn't hear it wrong, lucky her.

Just as she finished the thought she was pulled off her bed and over to her closet by Ara. Ara opened the closet and quickly filed through the clothes, "Okay we can work with this."

After about another half hour, and like a million outfits, they decided on her wearing a black t-shirt, white jean shorts and a flannel around her waist. It went pretty well with her bronze complexion, if she did say so herself, which she did. She was also convinced to wear a black choker with a crescent moon pendant on it. Her hair hung in the natural bark waves it normally did.

"Okay, so, now that that's done, we have to leave soon, so let's go!"

"Can't we stay for a few more minutes, Ae!" Aell looks at Ara and sighs grabbing their small backpack from the seat they placed it on in the beginning of this whole thing. She turned and smirked slightly at Ara.

"Not unless you want to be late." Then they turned to leave closing the door behind them.

After a few moments, she caved, "Fine." She groaned pulling Ari to the door. The two girls grabbed their bags and walked towards Ari's door. The girl looked over to the cat cuddling up to the pillows, mind already filling with doubts.

The two tagged slightly behind Aell and talked, catching up on the latest events. Nothing interesting really happened until they reached the door which Ara promptly ran into it. She looked up confused, a slight pink tint growing on her cheeks as she realized what just happened. Ari just laughed held out a hand for Ara to get up with, which she took laughing as well, causing Ari to fall as well. This might take awhile.

"Shotgun!" Ara called, just as Ara and her headed towards the car. The same car Aell was currently leaning against, waiting for them.

"No." Was Aell's only response before heading towards the driver's side.

"Why?" Ara complained, as Ara stood there kinda awkwardly watching.

"Cause you're acting like a child." Aell answered, motioning Ari to the passengers seat.

"Hpmh, you don't normally care." Ara pouted, walking toward the back of the car, opening the door, and stepping inside the car.

"Neither do you." The remark was kind of puzzling to Ari, but she decided against asking about it, instead opting to settle into the front seat more.

It took about 15 minutes for them to get to the house. Ari got out of the car only to be pulled into the somewhat large house a few seconds later by Aell.

"Okay so, Ara just went to bring our stuff upstairs, so want a drink or something?" She asked, walking Ari towards the kitchen.

"Is the drink alcohol or something?" Aell's head snapped in her direction so fast Ari felt like there had to be some form of whiplash, eyes wide.

"Or something!? I mean, if you want some I could get you some, but that's not what I was exactly suggesting." They looked slightly panicked, probably nowhere near as panicked as Ari felt but still.

"No! Nope! I'm good! What were those other drinks?" She answered immediately flusteredly waving her hands around, sure her face was bright red.

"Probably some water and energy drinks, Liza's parents are pretty laid back, but they hate alcohol." Aell laughed off nervously.

"Okay, that's good." Ari replied in a slight daze from the last few moments.

"You good?" Aell asked filling a glass with water and sliding it to where she had situated herself on the counter.

"Yeah, just my introvert coming out." Ari joked before taking a sip of her water as she saw Aell take out two cans of Monster energy drinks.

"Well, just tell us if you need anything." Aell stated grabbing her hand and pulling her over to the stairs. Ari smiled as she was dragged up the stairs.

"Okay," Was her answer to the request, as they

2 hours later.....

She had been here a solid 1 hour and 45 minutes and was overall enjoying it. The only people Ari had met from the two's friend until tonight were some of the boys and one girl, but so far everyone was getting along great.

"Wait! Guys, y'know what we should play?" Eliza, the host person, asked, clapping her hands excitedly.

"What?" Maya asked, throwing a make-up brush at the girl.

"Truth or dare!"The two made eye contact before squealing and giggling together.

"I'll go first! Ara truth or dare?" Maya volunteered, turning toward where Ara was laying with a crooked smile.

"Truth." Ara answered, not even opening her eyes in relaxation.

"Is it true you kissed Thomas last week?" Maya's eyes sparked with curiosity for the answer. This time the girl opened her eyes to give Maya a deadpan look.

"No. Why would I?" She answered, sitting up the rest of the way to look incredulously at Maya.

"I don't know, people have just been saying you did." Maya raised her hands in defense, resulting in obvious confusion in Ara.

"Okay? My turn I guess, Ari truth or dare?" Oh come on! Ara, really?

"Dare." She wasn't that scared of what she would say, or that's what she told herself at least.

"I dare you to get your ears pierced with us when we go tonight." Oh. Oh no. Was now a bad time to mention she had a tiny winy fear of needles or....

"Okay, I'll do it." The famed words, or stupid ones that got her here.

Anala looked up at the girls, twirling her keys on her fingers, "You know what we might as well go now, given it's art of a dare now. "

"I call shotgun!" When was Ara gonna learn that that just wasn't happening tonight.

"NO!" Was the overwhelming rely making Ara pout again.

"Oh come on!" She whined, walking to the back of the car.

Present

Ok, one in, three to go. This would be easy, right? Probably not, but oh well, at least she had some fun tonight.
