You are the Stars

"Hey Sweetheart!" said Ridhima.

"Oh, hey! " I said.

"Do you know what is so special about Milky Way and its stars? " She said, dragging me to the balcony.

"Ah! Well I don't even care, they are just beautiful to feel. " I said.

" The Milky Way contains over 200 billion stars, and enough dust and gas to make billions more. The Solar System lies about 30,000 light years from the Galatic Center and about 20-light years above the plane of the galaxy. More than half of the stars found in the Milky Way are older than the 4.5 billion year old Sun. " She said while looking at the stars in the sky.

I felt really happy.

"You want to see the Milky Way? " I asked her.

"Yes! One day I will. " She answered.

"Please come to Japan!" I pleaded.

"You are going to Japan! " She asked with astonishment.

"Yes, you are taking me there. "

"Are you sure you want to go? " Jae-suk asked.

"Yes, these are just stars I want to see the Milky Way. " Woo-jin replied.

"Just because you think your celebrity crush is going to Tokyo for seeing Milky Way and for his personal reasons he is sad, you think he will share his problems with you and you will be able to make hum happy? And yeah, I'd you want to attend the concert, do you even have any money?" Ridhima said while scolding me.

" I just want to do this whether it works or not. " I replied.

So here I am sitting in my VietJetAir seat. It wasn't an easy journey to make it this seat. It took one week of quarreling with Ridhima to convince. It was like everyday I had to give her reasons to say "yes". But at the end she only said " Yes" Because she got pissed off. No offence, she blocked me twice. Then it took three weeks to convince my parents. I told them that it was a trip by coaching Institute as a volunteering field trip to Japan where we will experience and see how the doctors work there with the latest technology. I lied to them that this volunteering picnic was a big point in my college application. Ridhima helped me a lot in getting permission. My parents hardly allowed me for school picnics. I had to use emotional sentences like I was bored with studies, and that dad always loved Japan. I even had a small argument but with God's grace, the permitted me. I had to break my money box to take out the money I had saved since 1st grade. Unwillingly, my parents paid. Yet to reduce their pain, I had to ask Ridhima for financial support because she could afford more than me.

I reached Tokyo at night. We rushed to concert with our big backpack and saw them leaving. We followed them till their hotel but before they could leave their hotel some people came an brought their luggage and they left to catch a ferry. I had seen Woo-jin in an interview where he told that he would like to visit Yaeyama Islands to see Milky Way and I just thought it was just the Tokyo's sky. I went ans told Ridhima that we had to go to Yaeyama Isands.

"Do you have money to go there and come back and then go back to India? " She said worriedly.

This hustle had a lot with the matter if money. I had no choice other than selling my gold earrings and while doing that we both stayed quiet and ashamed of our actions. I could remember how dad paid the fee with difficulties. We got the money and took ferry to Yaeyama Islands. We were almost in sleep when we reached.

Ridhima asked as if what was the plan. I told her that we will take rest at a local hotel and then hunt over ways to meet Woo-jin.

"I hope this unbelievable trip becomes worthy. " She said sympathetically.

I became sentimental when Ridhima said this to me because we had already lied to families and anything could happen to us.

We searched all the famous hotels as if they had the Unbreakable Stars' members. There were not many hotels. We found out that they were staying at Hoshinoya Taketomi Island which was the third one we checked. It was already evening and was about to get dark. We had our flight in early morning and our time was passing hurriedly. We were in the hotel and were searching Woo-jin but weren't able to find him. It finally became dark. I couldn't find Woo-jin anywhere and I thought they might have been out the whole day. So me and Ridhima were upset and then were going to the seashore.

We were just far behind the trees when a person all alone on the shore caught my gaze. I stopped Ridhima and asked her to stay.

"Maybe he is Woo-jin, it's my gut feeling. " I said.

"What will you say to him? " Ridhima stopped me by holding my wrist.

"I don't know. " I replied looking down, sadly.

I walked to Woo-jin, a handsome guy with a t-shirt, trousers and slippers, still looking attractive, was standing and letting the sea water touch his feet. I ran to him.

"Woo-jin! " I said with fast breathes.

He rolled his beautiful eyes towards me and before I could look at him, a crab climbed my fibula skin covered with jeans and I began to shout. He suddenly leaped and hold the crab tightly, pulled it and then threw it in the sea.

"Are you okay? " He asked gently.

"Your hand is bleeding? " I said.

I hurriedly took out an antiseptic and cotton pad and gave it to him. Well I am a medical student I have strange essentials. He couldn't clean his hand so I asked if I could and he let me.

"Excuse me! " Jae-suk said tickling the shoulder of Ridhima.

Ridhima turned back, "yes! Who are you? " Ridhima asked with no knowledge of the Unbreakable Stars.

"I am Lee Jae-suk and what are you looking at? " He answered.

"I am looking at my best friend she has gone to talk to that guy. " Ridhima answered while pointing to us.

Jae-suk became so terrified.

" Fans are not allowed to meet idols personally! " Jae-suk said while leaving.

But then suddenly Ridhima stopped her by holding his wrist, " She won't harm him she knows the rules. We have really suffered just to reach here. " She said.

"But why did she personally went and moreover was able to able to recognise him? " Jae-suk asked while taking his steps back.

"She is his true fan and he was sad and quiet since an year. She wanted to make him happy. " Ridhima told.

"I am his best friend, he never expressed to me. " Jae-suk said while sighing. "Sometimes we need strangers to listen us. " Ridhima replied.

"You know fans are not allowed to meet idols personally. " Woo-jin told me.

"I know but I will not take nay picture or autograph. "

Before he could say anything in return, I began my jokes that I had prepared to make him laugh. I prepared them in plane. He became confused in the beginning but then burst out laughing. I told him many funny anecdotes and talked continuously for a lot of time and made him laugh a lot.

"I feel so happy seeing Woo-jin happy. " Jae-suk said to Ridhima, while both were sitting on the beach sand near the palm trees.

" That means when we look in the stars, we look into our past", Jae-suk and Ridhima said it together while looking into each others eyes. And they kept looking for a while.

"Why are you making me laugh? It's been a lot of time. Who's re you? Where are you from? " Woo-jin asked.

"I am just an ordinary fan of yours among the billion people who want to see you smile again. "

Woo-jin's face changes and he laid his head on the sand looking up on the sky. "I feel empty and exhausted. I feel tired. I feel bored. I feel that I have lost myself. When I try to find me, I end up being same. I want to live a happy life like an ordinary guy. But at the end I love my work. " Woo-jin confessed.

I laid my head on the sand after him, too.

"You motivate me when I don't want to study. The books look boring to me but you made me to restart and you make me happy while studying. If you are bored than do something creative. Just run away from your house at night. Go to a park, sit and feel the nature and relax. Our happiness lies in us. Our own behavior makes us happy. You should restart and go into other things this time. The stars in the sky are so beautiful to stare at. The make me happy." I said to him.

He took out something from his pocket and gave me, "keep this as a gift from my side. I bought it to give it to the person who will be first change me. Thank you for making me happy. " He said.

Those were the earrings I had sold and maybe he ordered them online or maybe had a similar pair already.

"The stars are here for me, you are beside me, you are the stars! " I said to him. Then it was a deep silence and we were looking in the sky. I turned my face to check Ridhima and she was already trying to call me. She was waving and showing her watch. I checked my phone and I was late for the flight. I didn't have time. So I got up and walked. I turned back and saw he was still lost in the sky but was a happy. I whispered to myself, "Thank you for making it worthy. " I left.

Woo-jin said while looking into the stars, "The stars are here for me, you are beside me, you are the stars. "
