After taking the dark fluid, he laid comfortably on a bed. A bit later, he found himself in a jerkwater town tied. “Suck it!” a deep weary voice commanded. “What!” he exclaimed. “I said, suck i-i-it!” he was more frightened. He could feebly just dance his body tied on a queer chair. The room was so hostile that he could feel its air in his blood. The little murky bats made an abstruse peculiar chirp that made it more awkward for him. He could not easily help his ears; they were wide open. In the cold night, he could only see a shadow of whoever was commanding him. He struggled naively in the whirling chair like a deck trying to break the ropes that were holding him tight. “You’ll never escape from their little boy. Make sure you do it in three or you’ll suffer forever losing your kins and friends.” He was warned of the catastrophe that would follow his stubbornness. “I won’t. Do whatever you want!” he tried to be brave in the voice. “One… two…” “I ain’t gonna play your game. Never!” he was really scared. “Am afraid you will. Zucker! Three…” the shadow started fading away. “Wait! It is okay, I will do it.” He came up. “It is too late. Four…” the whole place started quivering harshly. “Don’t touch them.” He told an empty helpless room.
“Zucker!” Neithan called while shaking him. “Zucker!” He was in a so deep sleep for him to wake in a few calls. In some more couples, he credulously floated his sunken eyes. “Hey, Zucker!” Neithan breathed relief. “I have been calling you for almost three minutes. You were like a dead person. I was worried. Anyway, we got to leave now. That creepy old devil is close, it will catch us” Neithan said as he gave him a bowl of water. “Creepy old devil!” he exclaimed. “Yeah, it is approaching so we have to move.” Neithan explained. “It had tied me up on a whirling chair in a weird room.” He was puzzled. “Tied you up!” Neithan came up. “Yeah. There were chirpy bats with sicking noises and his voice sounded deep like in an echo. It said that it is going to make my family a catastrophe. Wait! It is coming for you.” he told Neithan. “Me!” Neithan was stunned. “All of you! Neithan, am sorry I didn’t save you but I can’t let it ruin your lives now. I guess I got a second chance. I won’t let you down this time. Just run and find a way out of this hell. I know how to handle it. Trust me.” he said as he started making backsteps away from Neithan. The demon’s weird echoes veiled the whole cave-like castle. Neithan frosted; doesn’t matter the gravelly voice and the fatigued walls that engraved him. “Over here you evil!” he was freaking out. In a flicker, Neithan scurried, got hold of him and pinned him at the wall by his chest with his arm. “Shhh! Chill out. Breathe in.” Neithan instructed as he did slowly. “You’ve been asleep for almost twenty hours. Whatever you saw, it is just a dream. We have been running since we escaped the mystery circle. We promised to get ourselves hell out of here together. No one is going to be left behind. We worth the same buddy.” Neithan soothed and really brought his feelings to equipoise. “Now let’s go!” They followed a solitary gloomy path away from the shadow that was after them. The cut corners seemed to have no end. They run from an evil voice that was evenly distributed around the castle. They were awfully astonished when they found that bowl they had used to take water and their very recent foot stamps. Mysteriously, the voice was clear just right behind them. Grimly, Neithan gave his friend a chaste eye, “Escaping is a choice. A charming face.” Neithan smiled effortlessly. “Little duckling. When you meet her, tell her I had my father’s blood. Bye!” He agitated without a hitch in saving his friend. That is when he drastically got aroused and dared to face the devil. He turned like the angry flash to grab the shadow but instead, he landed on a pungent gas that slowly made him heavier. “This was all about you and not your friend. You got to complete it alone.” With a mocking tone, “Maybe you could save one on the useless soul.” It left him going dizzy on the ground.
In some clock ticks, everything was blurred in his eyes and finally passed out completely. He couldn’t even lift his hand. A couple of hours after, he was floating fancifully with rose petals on a surrounded heart pool. It was a place where some believers went to take their vows and declare unity with their chosen souls. One also takes out all his/her past flaws and hope to make a better future. He unleashed his head from the divine water. Opening his eyes, he first set his glance at a very familiar face. Looking around, he didn’t recognize any other individual. The familiar face was Sabella. She was in a white veil that perfectly fitted her. It drew her so shapely than how he ever saw her before. As everyone clapped incessantly, Sabella was welcoming him into a new life. “Jacob! Welcome to paradise. Here we are going to dwell as peaceful souls of unity, humanity and Godly. We ought to follow our vows and promises. I love you!” she smiled and approached the edge of the pool. He genuflected and stretched her hand for him to show the companion as he got out of the pool. Being abducted from the mysterious array, “Sabella! I need a mild talk privately, please. Now.” He requested. Sabella looked at the elder who in turn nodded his head showing agreement. “This is not part of our culture.” One of the men close to the elder said. “Yeah! These are two little lovely cockatiels and you don’t want to take one.” The elder replied with a smirk. Until they were in a lone place, “Why are calling me Jacob? my name is Aidan. Neither Jacob nor Zucker is my name.” he told her. “But your name is Jacob. What’s wrong?” she got astonished. “Whatever am called doesn’t matter right now. Sabella, listen. Did you see that creepy old man in the high chair? He is after us, after you. He has just trapped Neithan in an old weary castle and he had poisoned me. We have to get out of this inferno now.” He explained. “No Jacob. That is not true. We have been here in the past two nights and we have not left this fortress. We have never met anyone called Neithan. That could be some kind of an illusion or castle in the air that happens sometimes on the effect of that pool water.” They tried to get off their inferno dilemma. “I told you, this is not part of the culture process, we have to send someone after them.” The man said. “Hey! Be patient. They will not disappoint.” The elder cooled him.
Finally, when they couldn’t take anymore, they decided to send certain guards to check out for them. They were in a room that was used to prepare the pride. When the lamps were turned on, he looked around carefully, he could realize there must be a wedding. “This place shouldn’t be neat like this. It is hellhole ready to suck us.” He said as he got close to the window. As he stood at the window, Sabella lovely came and hugged him tightly from behind. “This was our nuptial. I like it though it is so scary.” She told him. He finely turned and he held her by her arms. Like he had recalled something, “I know you love me and you don’t want to let that go. We were pushed up here not for nirvana’s sake, but they just needed the pure blood of a young and true couple. I know you waited for us to be declared an item but that is a sacrifice.” He explained. She just held her feet helplessly. “Are ready for my karma?” he artlessly asked her. With a leer on her face, “Yes. Whatever you say.” She replied. Before they could make any step, the first guard was on their front. They pretend to follow his command until they got along the corridor. They got a punch on him and vanished. The guard summoned others and showed them the direction. It was like a lion on a prey chase. In moments of running, Sabella was caught up at the edge of the top of the fortress. They got tied by the thoughts between jumping and flying the height or giving their blood willingly to the thirsty demons. “We got this!” she said as they held each other’s hand. Evil’s trap wasn’t fast enough to get hold of them on time. “This world is so big for you to live together forever.” The elder said as he watched them fall. “One of them won’t get through that layer. She knows it!” he told his men. “We’ll find him or her to complete our mission.” He signalled them to go back.
“Hey, Sabella! We have been flying for almost ten minutes now. Aren’t we landing?” he started taking in the air. “Always our heart beats fast because we are nervous.” She said removing a metal bracelet from her hand. “And so, probably our heart grows thin. Maybe that is when we give them out to our loved ones. Jacob…” “Hello, sweethearts! Anything troubling you?” a voice abducted them from a distance. “Why is Ethan following us?” he asked. “I got no idea. You know him!” she asked. “You mean you don’t know him!” he was upset. “Yeah, she doesn’t know me because this isn’t our commonplace. We have never met here before.” Ethan said. “I hate him.” He told Sabella. “Be cool Jacob.” she cooled him. “What do you want?” Sabella queried Ethan. “A good question. Look down” as they both face down, “Sabella I know you understand what the upcoming ray means when we got a hit on it. I was thinking my life isn’t useless when I got no other choice than to give it out. After all, it couldn’t save me nor nothing was caught that I could dedicate my life to but I guess I was waiting for a perfect hour like this. But now I guess I’ve got some sweethearts that I can dedicate my life to and just give it willingly for them. I like your loyalty, Quin.” Ethan explained his intentions. “Wait, he just called me Quin. Doesn’t he know my name is Aidan?” he reacted to his new name. “He is Jacob and not Quin.” Sabella told Ethan. “Not Jacob, it is Aidan remember.” He told them. “That is what you call yourself, and that is what she calls you and Quin is what I call you. Bye!” Ethan said as they all went against a dark cloud with a pungent irking smell.
They got themselves in the middle of a huge pond. They swam to the bank. “I knew we’ll land in some second!” he breathed a deep sigh. “For the sake of him.” Where is he?” he asked. Solemnly, “He is not here. Nothing of him you’ll ever see again.” Sabella told him. “What happened?” he asked. “I know it is hard to explain but, did you see that ray he told us to watch before? It is like a timeline. You won’t cross alive without a life. It just makes sure you don’t land until you’ve got a blood sign. And those with the sign, go and are never seen. Ethan gave himself for us to touch the ground!” she was looking at him in the eye. Suddenly, his face showed a misfortune and so she turned away her glance. “What is that?” she asked when she saw a huge shadow approaching. “It is after you, we got to move.” He told her. Before they could make a second step, “You’ve tried to stay with her for long but you knew it could not be forever. Now she is mine. A big bat-like animal came in a flash and lifted Sabella taking her away. He was so feeble fighting back. “I told you. You would have better sucked it.” Mysteriously another creature appeared and also took him away.
After being lifted for some kilometres, the creature narrowed its distance to the ground and suddenly dropped him into an elongated hole. “Aidan!” he heard an intimate voice from a dreary cave in the hole. Whoever was calling slithered to light, “Haifa!” he was flabbergasted. “What are you doing here?” he asked. “That creepy creature just drowsed me off here.” They just hugged and soothed one another. She was so ineffectual and really looked exhausted. “But don’t worry. I have just got a way out of here. Follow me.” Haifa told him. They perfect skipped the traps until they got themselves on the last one. When he looked at the circling ray, he just sipped a breath of inferiority. He turned out of the blue and deeply kissed her. “Escaping is a choice. I love you Haifa.” He told her in an aquatic eye. He took a sharp piece of rock and made a penetrating wound in his hand. Haifa was not aware of what was going on. He then took her arm and led her through the timeline ray. Haifa who was holding him tight, she felt his hand becoming softer and softer. In seconds, she couldn’t feel the grip anymore. She was dazed and started calling, “Aidan!” Aidan slowly was fused with the layer and was being taken to his fate. In a distance, he could hear Haifa’s helpless voice calling him.
As he was being amalgamated, it became more severe and caused him to freak out more on the bed. Everyone around got pity for losing his life so they decided to rise him. They were gladdened when he finally opened his eyes. “What did you find there?” Neithan welcomed him with a question. He took a breath. “I don’t know, everyone was dying for me, everyone was calling different names except one girl whom I died for and called me by my real name!” he said. “What’s the name of the girl that you died for?” Neithan asked. He looked at him in a breath and frankly said, “I don’t know her. She didn’t tell me her name.” “No relevance. Let’s try to find the name of the girl he saved but that will be another day. We can go now.” Kiise said.
