Uncontrollable Transformation

Today is a huge day. Do you know what day it is? It is the day before my wedding!!! I am getting married to Jack. He is the nicest guy, and he loves to help people. He is very hilarious, and very caring. The only downside? He is very unsanitary. He likes to pick his nose, scratch his butt, and he doesn’t wash his hands. Like ever. I have to keep reminding him and reminding him. 

I really shouldn’t be talking about him, because I also have a very bad weakness. I transform into a gorilla when I am angry. I know! Why would Jack want to marry me? Well, he doesn’t know I can turn into a gorilla, because every time I get mad, I go outside. Just so you know, Jack is a couch potato, so he rarely goes outside. I do my thing, transforming into a gorilla, and then I go back inside like nothing happened. It has worked every time, but there was one close call. One time, he came outside just seconds after my transformation. 

I also sometimes transform under a full moon, but I don’t know if I will. It is uncontrollable. Tomorrow will be a full moon, so that is why I specifically asked for the wedding to be from 11 A.M to 4 P.M. I am under a lot of stress, because after the wedding, my soon-to-be husband bought us a really expensive hotel, so I have to think of a way to not go without hurting his feelings and his wallet. Well, we’ll worry about that later. Now I need my beauty sleep so I can look pretty for Jack!

Today is the day of the wedding, and I am so nervous! I woke up at 6:30 so I could get into my dress and makeup. I can’t wait to see how handsome Jack is! I am in shock he even picked me, because he is insanely handsome, with a ripped body, perfect hair, and the whitest teeth I have ever seen. Whenever he dropped down on one knee, I almost fainted right on the spot! It was a huge boost in my confidence, because my mom is insanely pretty, and everyone said she is prettier than me.

Ok. Take a deep breath. It is an hour before the wedding. I really want to see what Jack looks like, but in my family, it is bad luck for your groom to see your dress before the wedding, so I am trying really hard to control myself. I am really, really nervous. I hope everything goes according to plan.

It is now 30 minutes before the wedding, and I am getting last minute touches, as well as a massage to keep myself fresh. Even though I am nervous, there isn’t anywhere else where I would like to be more than here.

It is only 25 minutes before my wedding, and I can’t wait anymore! I am going to go see my groom. I never believed in that kind of stuff anyways, and even if something happens, how bad can it be? As I walked down to his room, I heard a strange sound. I turned around, and I saw a Jackaw. They are a type of animal that only appears at midnight. It was discovered last year, in 2021 by a child running away from home at midnight. That is weird. They are only supposed to appear at midnight! I looked outside.

WHAT?! Sure enough, it was midnight. I looked around. Oh! It is because of the werewolves! The werewolves can choose a day each year for the whole day to be midnight. Just my luck! They choose today. I will have to control myself extra hard to keep myself from turning into a gorilla. 

I walked to Jack’s door. I hear some weird noises. Feeling curious, I opened the door. OH MY GOSH!!!! I CAN”T BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING!!! M-M-MY G-GRO-OOM IS KISSING MY MOM!! They didn’t even notice me standing there! They were so into it, french kissing each other. I started to see red. Uh oh. That means I am about to turn into a gorilla. I tried to calm myself down. I yelled, “JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He turned around, and a look of terror flashed in his eyes. I was trying really hard not to lose it, but I was already flashing between a gorilla and a human. I finally lost control, and let my animal side take over.

I faintly remember me thrashing around, splintering the room to pieces. Jack just stood there staring in horror, while my mom turned and made a run for it. I rampaged and rampaged, hurting everyone in sight, my dad came. He said, “I know you are mad, but do you realise something? My wife is kissing your groom, so we should both be mad. Why am I not mad? Because if they are kissing each other, that means I now know my wife is a lowly creature. Now, I can get a divorce!” I thought about it, and I slowly, oh ever so slowly, turned back into human form. I can’t believe what I see! Everything is in ruins, and a bunch of our guests are lying on the floor! I deeply regretted what I have done, but just like my dad said, now I know not to marry Jack. 

2 months later

Everything turned out okay after all. The first few days, I just lie on my bed, still not believing that Jack did that to me, but after thinking things through, I realized I didn’t want to get married to someone who scratches his butt after all. I started going on dates, trying to find someone who can make me forget about Jack. I am now happily engaged to Jake, who not only has all of the good qualities of Jack, but does not scratch his butt or pick his nose! And about my gorilla form, it turns out Jake can turn into a werewolf so I bet we will be fine!
