"The Door No One Saw"

Aparna, Riju, Mohan, and Alia were four colleagues. They work in the same office. They get a vacation for a few days. So they plan to go to a wildlife area. So, the next day, they decided to visit a place that has wildlife. But suddenly their boss calls them and asks them to visit a forest for a project. All becomes angry. Aparna was a beautiful girl with a very caring nature, and she was very sweet too. Riju was a little arrogant but very soft towards her friends. Mohan was a mixture of soft and a little aggressive but protective towards Aparna, Riju, and Alia. Alia, on the other hand, was a soft-natured girl but very talkative compared to Aparna and Riju. All four gathered in the house of Mohan. Mohan was local in Pune, whereas the rest belonged to other cities. The girls come to his home for the first time. The house was small but neatly organised. It was difficult to say the house was a guy's. Mohan’s mother comes with a tray of samosas, and few snacks, and tea for the children. After completing the snacks, Mohan, along with the girls, searched for which forest they would visit for the project. Finally, they found a mysterious forest in Vietnam. So, all the friends decided that they would go to Vietnam after 5 days. Within 5 days, they informed their boss that their friends were going to a mysterious forest in Vietnam. Although at first the boss was hesitant to allow them to send them to Vietnam as it was very far, but eventually agreed. On the fifth day, all the friends go to the airport. This was their first time out of India. So, all the friends are excited, unaware of what is stored in this visit to the forest that will change their lives forever. While they were in the cab, Mohan booked a hotel. Two rooms, one for the three girls and one for himself. Then that day, they had dinner and called it a night. The next day, after they had breakfast, they went to the nearby places, and then the day came when the friends were about to visit the forest for the first time. They took a safari where all the friends sat comfortably. But while they were travelling, they got hungry, so they got out of the safari at a nearby hotel. When the friends were talking about what they would research in the forest, another customer nearby heard them and asked them about which forest they were talking about. When the friends say the forest name, it drained the color from the face of the man, and he warns them not to think about going to the place, as it was mysterious. They didn’t give heed to him, and so after completing their food, they started travelling again to the forest. After a few minutes, they reached the direction, but the signboard was not present, and out of delusion, they started to travel wherever they saw a road. Then they saw a big tree and a burnt house. The girls get scared. Suddenly, the weather changed to hot. Unfortunately, the forest eventually turns into a desert. Without having any option, they set up a tent as the night crept in. But inside the tent, they also feel very hot. The next day, shockingly, they find the place again forest. They could not understand what was happening to them. Then they saw a person passing by. He comes from a far village to fetch water. The person was shocked to see the friends with a tent set up. And horrifies that they were very fortunate that they were still all alive. He immediately asked them to evacuate the place and asked them to visit the forest only during the day. Then Mohan asked the person the reason for his request. Then he starts to tell what happened in that forest at night. The person starts the narration. Long, long ago, this place was a village with a palace. The king was very humble, and the queen was also very loving and caring. Many days passed, but they didn’t have any children. Both the king and the queen become sad, and eventually the king falls ill. But soon, one day a good news comes that the queen is pregnant with a child. This thing shocks the king, as he was ill. The people started spreading rumours that the queen was a witch. These rumours also reached the ears of the king, and he too started believing it. But unfortunately, the king dies. But in reality, the queen was having affairs with many males, and out of which she got pregnant with one of them. She was not a saint, as she showed to society. She brings the father of the baby who was in her womb. As soon as the people saw this conspiracy, they got angry. So, the next day, they call a saint and turn this village into a desert by his power. And after this, all the people in that village left the place, leaving behind the queen and her husband. But as time passes, the village turns into a desert and the queen the husband dies before the child comes to this world. It is said that after that fateful night, this forest turns into a desert at night, and the evil souls of the queen and her partner take the lives of innocent people. After listening to these, the friends note down everything for their project and swear never to visit the place at night. They come to the place during the daytime, but at night they stay in the hotel. Soon their project is completed and they move back home. Their project becomes unique when they edit the project, and instead of a forest, they mention it as a door. A movie was made on this as titled “ Behind the Door”. The film became a huge success. Interviews were taken of Mohan and Alia. The other two girls refused the interview. All the friends woke up from the dream they were seeing, then Alia noticed that there was a door in the desert. All the friends see and are shocked when Mohan dies due to overheating.. All the girls felt sad, but as Alia saw the door, all the girls went to the door with much difficulty, and they breathed in relief as they could see a forest behind the door. They crossed the door and soon reached the road. When they were going back home, they saw the same hotel. The same person was standing at the counter. He smiled when he didn’t see Mohan with the girls. The girls go back home in fear, and after the death of Mohan, the girls left the office, and no one knows where they work. Also, Alia, Riju, and Aparna never met each other after this incident occurred.
