"Deep in the woods that lie beyond the city, over hills and mountains, there is a community of people that do not worship the normal gods that you would see in mythos or other religions. Instead, they worship one of the Earth. She accepts all ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations without blinking an eye. She is graceful and elegant while being forever wild. She has the skin of peaches, hair as soft as the moss that covers the rocks in the river, a voice that sounds like the water as it runs over that moss, and eyes that can pierce souls. She is the Earth itself, as calm as a gentle breeze and as kind as the warm sun on a cold day. She is the Earth itself, as harsh as the jagged rocks of a cliff and as wild as a strong breeze that threaten to blow away everything you know exists. She is the light and the darkness, the fire and the water, the yin and the yang. She sits on a throne of thorns and flowers in the community, a picture of violent and murderous grace and mercy. The community is split into peoples who have the same personality as her. There are violent ones who answer to no one and break the rules of the community frequently, there are the kind ones who help everyone they meet and are sure to give a warm smile to those who need it, there are the wild ones who go wherever they want and don't care at all about what others think of them, and the graceful ones. The graceful ones are the group that I am in. We are quiet and anti-social. We never stray too far from Mother Earth, who is the one who sits upon the throne of thorns and flowers. We are the inventors, the imaginers, the artists and scholars. We are the advisors and warriors that stand by her side and fight for her. We are the mountains she can break, the worlds she can bring crumbling to their knees, we are the children, we are the adults. We are her yin and yang, we are neutral, chaotic, and good. We are the protection and the vulnerability that she represents. We are the fierce and timid. We are many. We keep quiet so we do not stand out and we stand out through our accomplishments. We are the women, the men, the nonbinary, the transgender, the straight, the gay, the bisexual, the pansexual, the asexual. We are everything as we are nothing. We are beautiful and we are ugly. We have scars and we are strong. However, our community is falling apart. There is nothing we can do about it. Mother Earth is dying. So we have come to the outside world for help. The pollution that those from the outside world are forcing upon her is killing her. To stop her from dying forever, we must do what we can to minimize global warming and climate change. Otherwise, we will lose our ruler and we will go to war. This is not a declaration of war. Not yet. We will wait and we will watch for the world to speak up and realize what is wrong with it. We will actively encourage others to commit to the necessary change. We will continue to fight for our lady, and ourselves."
"Recently I have noticed that no one has accepted the fact that we need a change. Our lady is dying and no one is doing anything about it. She is real, and she is here. On her throne of thorns and flowers, she continues to slowly die because of this worlds' pollution tendencies. For progress to happen, people need to commit to the necessary changes and actions needed for it to change. We will not tolerate the disrespect you have given to our lady. I will remind everyone that this is not a declaration of war. However, if something does not change, we will use the power that Mother Earth has given us to start the world anew. We will leave behind those who wish her harm and start a new society in which she will be well cared for. This is merely a warning. Do not abuse Her Grace. She has been merciful so far, but she tires of the constant abuse that is caused by pollution that you are creating. She tires of this constant battle against the world. I beg of you, -we beg of you- to please change your habits so they benefit her and do not harm her more. We do not want a full out war. But we are prepared to fight one for our lady."
"I would like to thank all who have gathered here. We would like to report that our lady is only doing slightly better. However, we are not out of the woods yet. We need the continued support to end pollution entirely to save our lady. We are still willing to fight an all-out war if things get worse. Please, I beg of you, end pollution and help us save Mother Earth."
After this last speech, the community had to go underground and eventually die out. The Mother Earth they mention appears to have succumbed to the disease that they claimed was because of pollution. Too many people did not pay attention to this group's warning and, after 30 years of the last speech being given, the world finally ended in famine, disease, and bloodshed. The apocalypse that occurred 20 years after this speech killed 24% of the world's population with famine, 39% of the world's population with homicide, 36.9999999999% of the world's population with disease. The last person to be left alive shot themselves because of depression. Before the apocalypse started there were reportedly almost exactly 9 billion people alive, around 8.5 billion of which had been contributing to pollution and global warming at the time. Only 100 million of these people were advocating for the end of pollution. A century after the apocalypse, the community returned, and as promised, started anew.
