The Bakery Battle

After a long day at work Ms. Gingy was locking up her bakery. Ms. G's Bakery is the best in town. The reason she is the best of the best is because of her secret ingredient. The secret ingredient is... Well I can't tell you yet. Anyway that night Ms. Gingy got a notification on her phone that her bakery was robbed! She drove to her Bakery right away. In the morning she hired the best detective in town, Mr. Jawdaw  and his sidekick Mrs. Lupar. They solve over 200 cases a year.  “Hello I am Ms. Gingy owner of Ms. G´s Bakery. last night my bakery was robbed. The robber stole my secret ingredient!” “What did the secret ingredient look like ma'am?” Mr. Jawdaw said “Well it was in a very little purple mason jar. It was on a golden necklace chain. Actually it looks like the chain on your car keys!” Ms. Gingy exclaimed.      “Do you know anyone that would want to steal your secret ingredient?”  Mrs. Lupar asked. “ Well JDL, Pona,  Lisa, and Judy. But JDL closed her shop a week ago.” Ms. Gingy exclaimed. “ Okay we will interview all the suspects.”  Mr. Jawdaw said quickly.  As Mr. Jawdaw  and Mrs. Lupar walked away to talk to Pona, Mr. Jawdaw said “  I think I am sick.” “ Go home and get better Mr. Jawdaw” Mrs .Lupar said. Mr. Jawdaw left Mrs. Lupar.

Mrs. Lupar arrived at Pona's house. She asked Pona where she was last night, what she was doing, and if she had any witnesses. Pona was at her house playing Clue with her two daughters, Lucy and Jenna. She looked at Pona’s clue sheets. They played Clue. Mrs. Lupar  checked security footage and asked Lucy and Jenna if they played  Clue last night. Pona is not guilty. 

The next day Mrs. Lupar went to Lisa's house. Mrs. Lupar asked Lisa where she was last night, what she was doing, and if she had any witnesses. Lisa was in her room cleaning and she had no witnesses. But she did have a security camera. Her room was clean and her camera showed her cleaning at night.

There is only one person left, Judy. Now all Mrs. Lupar  needs is evidence.  She is halfway to Judy's house when she gets a notification on her phone. She looked at her phone and saw a notification that Mr. Jawdaw’s  YouTube channel was live. She decided to listen to it while she was on her way to Judy's house. “ Okay everyone I left my sidekick to do all the work so I can show you how to make Ms. Gingy’s  pastries. I stole her secret ingredient. The bad thing is that I have to solve her case. I am going to blame it on a girl named Judy though.” Mr. Jawdaw  said. “ Holy crap!” Mrs. Lupar  yelled. she felt so bad for suspecting Judy. She quickly ran over to Ms. Gingy’s house and said “ I found the person who stole your secret ingredient!” “ Who?” Ms. Gingy  asked. “ It  was…” “  Judy” Mr. Jawdaw said. “ Incorrect sick person. Mr. Jawdaw  Did it!  He owns an online baking channel and wants more viewers. On my way to Judy's house I got a notification on my phone that his channel was live. He said on his livestream that he stole your secret ingredient and will blame it on Judy!” Mrs. Lupar said. “ Prove it!” Mr. Jawdaw  yelled. “Gladly” Mrs. Lupar pulled up his livestream on her phone and played the part where Mr. Jawdaw confessed. “Oh my goodness gracious!” Ms. Gingy  exclaimed. “ Let me explain please” Mr. Jawdaw  said. “ Well, okay.” Ms. Gingy said. “I love baking. Your bakery is my favorite place to go. When I found out that you had a secret ingredient I knew I needed it to get all of my online viewers back. So a few nights ago I stole it. When you called me to solve your case I could not confess. You were so upset, Mrs. Lupar was ready to solve this case, and I was scared. I did not want any of you to find out, so I faked being sick.  I figured being sick would let me do my channel and look less suspicious. Little did I know that Mrs. Lupar put all notifications on my channel. I knew I should not have confessed on my channel!” “ Well you did. A. You are going to jail for a long time mister. B. I am not proud to be your younger sister. I always saw you as the greatest person ever, now I know that you are selfish, greedy, a robber, and a bad  big brother. Oh and just a heads up you are going to jail for 30 years. During my research I figured out this isn't the first time  you have stolen something valuable.  I am taking Ms. Gingy’s  secret ingredient back  and everything else you’ve stolen.” Mrs. Lupar said very sadly. “ You two are brother and sister? Oh my gosh you do not look anything alike or act alike!” Ms. Gingy exclaimed. “ Ms. Gingy  I know it is hard to believe that we are siblings because I don't lie to my siblings or steal from people. Also I got the looks of the family. Anyway cops take him away! Remember to lock him away for a long time.” Mrs. Lupar said. “  Thank you so much Detective Lupar  for solving my case. to show my gratitude to you, you can have free coffee and breakfast this morning at my bakery.” Ms. Gingy said. Mrs. Lupar thought  “Detective Lupar has a nice ring to it.”  Detective Lupar sat down inside of Ms. G’s bakery  after her brother was taken away to jail. She returned the secret ingredient to Ms. Gingy  and sat down for breakfast and coffee.  she was very happy and relaxed until… *  ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring* “  Detective Lupar  how may I help you?” “  My bakery has been robbed! Everything is gone!  Please help!” “  Who are you and where is your bakery?”  Detective Lupar  asked. “ Pona, Pona Loncor!  My bakery is on 123 Pineapple Drive.” “Okay ma'am I'll be right there.” There goes free breakfast and coffee Detective Lupar thought. “ Well at least I found Ms. Gingy’s ground spinach…  Oh I mean secret ingredient.”  Detective Lupar  grabbed her coffee and donuts, then went off to her next case.
