Mike Learns a Hard Leason At the B and B

The room was dark and cold the shads was draw the bed was not slept in for years. No one used this room people have tried as soon as they got to the door. They had to turn and leave no one has even opened the door to this room. The guest was to afraid to open the door the owner never went near it to afraid to go near it. So the room stayed empty since the room has never been used, the inside of the room is most likely dusty.

For these reasons the Owner has removed the House for its list of bed and breakfast. Still does not stop the rumors running around as the guest that stayed gossip about the room. The stories went wild soon it got to the public where the bravest of the brave tried came stay in the guest room of bed and break fast. They tried to stay in the room but never could till one day a man from Scotland heard about it.

He decided he was going to try the room out for his followers on You Tube. He made a little video about it telling his follower that if the want him to. The they need to leave comments saying yes or no his comment section on the video it blew up with people telling him to do it. The You Tuber named Mike always did video’s about debunking the paranormal.

Mike wants to really see a ghost he wants to see if there is anything after this life. Mike calls the bed and breakfast and asks for that particular room.

Owner: ( Thank you for calling Amanda’s bed and breakfast. How may I help you today?)

Mike: ( Yes I am calling about your room to rent.)

Owner: ( Sorry sir we do not have a room.)

Mike: ( Yes you do. I am looking at your listing and you have a room. I want that room.)

Owner: ( Sir we do not rent that one out we have other rooms much better than that one. )

Mike: ( I know you do not rent it out I heard the stories I want the room.)

Owner: ( Sir if you want that room I have to think it over. Do you have a number I can call you back at.)

Mike gives her his number twenty minutes goes by then thirty after a hour. Mike starts to get mad thinking they are not going to call. After a hour and thirty minutes Mikes phone rings it is the hotel.

Owner: ( Can I speak to Mike please?)

Mike: ( This is Mike.)

Owner: ( Hello mike .)

Mike: ( Hello. Can I have that room.)

Owner: ( I thought it over. If you brave enough sure.)

Mike: ( Trust me I am.)

Owner: ( Okay then come on and get it is Haunted though.)

Mike: ( Okay. I will I heard it was haunted but I do not believe it. I debunk anything being haunted I am a You Tuber if you check me out on there you will see that.)

Owner: ( The only problem I have is I had many of people here that do what you do. Before they could not get to the room and put the key in to unlock the door they had to leave.)

Mike: ( Sorry I just do not believe it.)

Owner: ( Okay well if you would like the room come and get it.)

Mike: ( I will catch a flight and be there tomorrow.)

Owner: ( Okay I will be here waiting.)

They both hang up the phones Mike logs on to his You Tube account to let his viewers know that he will be going to the hotel. Mike also says that they will be along for the rider because it will be a live all night broad cast. He does his four minute video packs everything up all of his cameras extra batteries. Takes one last look around to make sure he has everything then gets in his car and heads to the airport.

On his way to the airport he thinks of every other place he has been to trying to remember. Every little thing they said happened so he could look at those possibilities when he got to the hotel. Mike gets to the airport buy’s a plane ticket waits for his time to board the plane. As he is waiting he looks for his note book of all the cases he has done to put in his care on.

As soon as he finds it they call for him to board Mike hands the woman his ticket. So that he can board the plane he makes his way to his seat, and waits for the plane to take off . As the plane takes off Mike looks over his paper’s after a hour in flight Mike get tired and goes to sleep. During the time that Mike is asleep he has a horrible dream about the hotel.

It is so bad that it wakes him up Mike looks out the window to take his mind off the dream. With each passing minute Mike starts to since that something is off. Mike thinks to his self (Maybe as soon as the plane lands he should turn around and go back.) Shocked that he could even think something like that he slaps his self in the face.

With the sun in the sky Mike can see when he gets to America which does not take long at all. The pilot come across the speaker saying (That they are beginning their final approach.) Then the seat belt sign comes on Mike puts his paper’s back in his bag puts his seat belt on then watches out the window. Mike always like to watch the plane land it was his favorite part about flying.

When the plane land and he finally gets out of the, air port Mike finds a taxi to take him to the hotel. On the way there Mike sits quietly in the back seat thinking the whole way there about the dream. Also about why he thought what he did about going back home. He soon forgets about it as the get to the hotel the taxi comes to a stop in front of the hotel.

Mike steps out of the taxi looks at the bed and breakfast to see a nice up to date house the place looks expensive. Mike grabs his three bags walks in to the house looks at the owner looks her in the eyes and says.

Mike: ( I am here to see your room. I am the one that called about the room you never rent out.)

Owner: ( Oh okay one moment please.)

She grabs the phone quietly talking to someone about Mike as if he can not hear her every word.

Owner: ( They will be here with the key shortly.)

Mike: ( Okay.)

Mike walks over takes a seat waiting on the key after a few minutes the owner walks over to greet Mike.

Owner: ( Hello Mike. Here are the keys to the room)

Mike: ( Oh well thank you.)

Owner: ( Are you sure you want to do this?)

Mike: ( Yes I am. )

Owner: ( I see you have some bags with you. So will you be staying the whole night? )

Mike: ( Yes.)

Owner: ( Okay. Will you be putting this on your You Tube?)

Mike: ( Yes I will. I have a paper here for you to sign that allows me to do it.)

Owner: ( Okay.)

The owner looks over the paper

Mike: ( Look at it this way. If I find something my viewers have a wide reach so if I find something they will put the word out one of two things will happen.)

Owner: ( What would those two things be?)

Mike: ( One would be draw you more customers in. Two it would make people not ask you to let them stay in that room anymore.)

Owner: ( Hmm okay I like both of those ideas.)

The owner signs the paper.

Owner: ( I will take you up to you room. I have a deal for you.)

Mike: ( Okay. What deal would that be?)

The owner chuckles as they walk to the stairs Mike still waiting to hear this deal as the manager opens the door to the stairs. Mike gives the owner a look like well you going to tell me as the door creaks open. They both walk in the owner looks at Mike as the door creaks behind them closed saying.

Owner: ( Sorry about the wait I had to make sure no other customer was listening. My deal for you is this if you last the whole night in that room your stay is free. If not you have to pay for your night in the room plus if you eat or drink anything. But if you can it is all free.)

Mike looks at the manager grins a little bit then says.

Mike: ( You got yourself a deal.)

They shake hands as they both walk up the stairs to the top all the way down to the end of the hall. Mike and the Owner stand in front of the door of the room that has never been used. The owner hands Mike the key to open the door Mike slides the key in turns the key unlocking the door. The owner looks at Mike and says.

Owner: ( Before you turn that door knob this is where I say my goodbye.)

Mike looks at the manager giving him a strange look and says.

Mike: (Okay. But do you not want to at least see the inside.)

Owner: ( No I do not. Good luck to you.)

The owner turns walking as fast as she could to get back down the stairs. Mike turns back to the door opens it up walks in to a wave of heat and darkness. Mike can see just enough to put his bags next to a table, then he walks over to open the curtains letting the sun light in. He turn around to see a little office slash living room with dust every where. Then he turns around to see a room with a hug bed that has never been slept in dust on the covers. All mike can do is shake his head at this goofiness of all this.

Mike sets up all of his cameras where he wants them then he opens his laptop logs into his You Tube account. Sets all the cameras up for live streaming then goes about his usual business gets out his note book. Going step by step checking everything that would make people think this room is haunted. Everything has check out looks at every camera as he goes through his check list telling his viewers that nothing is wrong.

Hours go by nothing is happening Mike sits on the couch watching television. Looking at his computer from time to time to ask his viewers to watch each room closely . Small things start to happen batteries drain on the cameras Mike changes them out after a couple of hours of this Mike starts to get mad. Then bigger stuff happens the bathroom door slams shut, the cover from the bed some how makes its way to the living room.

The television falls to the floor the lights turn on and off by their self Mike starts to get worried. He runs to the door to leave as he does the door knob melts to the door he try’s to find another way out but there is no other way. Mike uses the room phone to tell them he wants to leave there is no dial tone on it. He looks around to find where it is hooked in at Mike follows the cord find where the cord goes straight through the floor.

Mike sits back on the couch tell his self ( I just have to wait it out), looks at his laptop everything is still working fine looks at the time on his laptop top. Five hours has past since Mike has been in this room he can not believe it . the last time he looked at his laptop it was only a hour that he has been in the room. Mike try’s to find a answer as to how this happened with no success he knows that there will be no sleeping tonight for him.

So Mike picks up the out dated television so he could at least watch it he sits back down on the couch looks at his laptop. Another five hours have passed by just from Mike leaving the couch to pick up the television to coming back over and sitting back down. Mike seems to think he is in some sort of time manipulation paranormal area he knows that he has not been in this room for ten hours. He grabs his phone to check the alert he got when he logged into You Tube it says he has only been in this room for three hours. The more Mike stays in this room the more his energy fades he has to get out instead he fights to stay Mike keeps a eye on his phone. So that he can keep track of the right time he lays on the bed eventually falls asleep.

Jumping awake at his alarm screaming at him Mike checks the time on his phone it is almost time for check out. He jumps for joy he shuts down his You Tube grabs his other camera that recorded the whole night. He wants to see if anything else happened while he was asleep Mike watches it in fast forward to where he went to bed. As mike plays the recording from where he went to bed he gets sick to his stomach the recording shows him laying on the bed asleep. But it also shows him walking around the room at the same time also watching television looking through his notebook.

Then flipping the lights on and off taking the cover off the bed putting it in the living room. From there is shows him slamming the bathroom door all of this is going on while he is in bed sleeping Mike thinks to his self ( how is this possible.) Mike turns around to look at the bed and he is still laying there in the bed. Mike thinks back to his conversation with the manager.

Owner: ( echoing) ( People die in that room and they do not even know it happens.)

Mike sitting there in shock thinking (am I dead.) The owner comes across the speaker hooked up in the room for the brave people that stay in that room saying.

Owner: ( Mike you still here? Hit the call button on the speaker if you are still here.)

Mike looks for the speaker finds it try’s to press the call button there is no way. For him to press it he try’s three times to press it but he can not do it. Then Mike hear from the speaker laughing then the manager says.

Owner: ( Hey Mike you can not press the button because you are dead. ( Laughing.) I will be up there in a few hour I know you have questions I will answer them. I asked you if you really wanted that room now you know why you should have stayed away.)

Now Mike know why he should have picked something else to do with his life. At least he found out the answer he has always been looking for is there life after death. Mike know the answer to that but the answer h is looking for now is how he died. For that question he may never know the answer to.
