Selfless love

“You should not marry someone, if you can’t even spend 10 minutes of your day with that person” says Jennifer to her Husband Berk. This was just a part of their heated argument that occurred almost every day in the morning. Jennifer was a kind woman, who valued emotions more than money, and on the secondhand Berk was totally opposite of her. Who was just living to earn and spend money in his own way. Jennifer didn’t ask for money from him much , even if she did it was just for buying her a new recipe book. She was fond of cooking, and didn’t even allowed her husband to hire a chef in their home, even though they had servants for each work. She used to cook for her and berk daily. But Berk didn’t even had that much time to praise for her astounding cooking skills.

One day she got a call from her sister Isobel , who was coming for a visit to her home tomorrow. She felt pleased as she would be having someone to talk atleast for some days, as Berk was busy all day and night in making money.

The next morning , The door bell rang as the helper was going to open the door, Jennifer stopped him and asked him to let her open the door.

As she opened the door she cried out ‘Isoobbeell, I’m so glad to see you ‘, they hugged and welcomed her in the home.

 After eating the meals cooked by Jennifer , she suggested her to open a restaurant , as she had amazing cooking cooks and enough of free time with her. Jennifer didn’t consider much of her idea. After two days when Isobel has left and had come to her solitary life back, she considered that  idea and thought of starting a restaurant.

As berk came home that night, she asked him 14,000 USD for starting her own restaurant. Berk gave her the same amount the next morning without taking much interest.

After 1 month :

 Jennifer put her hard work into standing her business and which was running very well. Her restaurant was cheap which provided splendid meals.

She stayed from 9 a.m to 3 p.m and went to have a check from 8:30 to 9:30 every night.

On a Saturday night , like usual days she came to have a check , she saw a (almost 9 month) pregnant lady sitting and eating her meal with a depressed mood. She felt hesitated on asking her, and while respecting her privacy Jennifer went to home.

On the next day, the same lady was having her meal, Jennifer held her curiosity as why she coming and eating here in such pregnancy days. It’s seemed so unnatural. This happened for next 3 days straight. Jennifer couldn’t resist her and asked her out of sympathy.

 Jennifer introduced herself as the owner of this restaurant , while the lady replied back while smiling “ I’m mary ‘. Jennifer asked as to why she was coming here in such days. Mary Feeling  a little uncomfortable while replying to her question said that “ her husband has disowned her just few days ago and was living here in a small home nearby. As She can’t cook for herself every meal in such serious days , so she comes here.” After listening to what she said, Jennifer asked the manager of her restaurant to provide her all 3 meals for fifteen days to her home without charging. Mary felt so overwhelmed and thanked her for her act.

AFTER 15 days when Mary gets discharged from the hospital , she comes in the restaurant to thank Jennifer and says “ Maybe this baby girl wouldn’t have existed or born healthy if you had not helped me.. I have no words to thankyou. I want to repay you for what you’ve done to me by working in your restaurant and you can pay me half wages. “

Jennifer agrees but at the same time asks where will you leave your baby while working? .. she replies that she will leave her baby in the neighborhood home ..

Jennifer suggests to keep her baby while she will be working ,as it isn’t safe to leave her baby away from her eyes.

Next morning while Mary works in the restaurant , Jennifer takes care of her baby. She looked after the baby as if it was her own. After the work, maya and Jennifer had great times .. they spent considerable time together , and also decided the baby girl’s name as Olivia.

Even After 10 to 11 months :

Mary continued to work in her restaurant and Jennifer still looked for her baby.

One evening, Jennifer comes to Mary and says “ I have news “, Mary replies “ say what?” Jennifer whispers I’m pregnant. Mary expresses her joy with her mouth open and says “congratulations , that’s a good news,, soo yayay , Aren’t you happy?”. Jennifer replies “ no,no I’m happy, I just don’t know how to react. Mary comforts her by saying “ it always happens when it’s the first , chill “. They both smiled and Jennifer went forward to tell Berk.

They had grown real close friends. Jennifer who didn’t have anyone around her to talk to for years got someone who can be happy with her, and can go sad with her. On the other hand , maya whose own husband disowned her while being family got someone who can own her as a family even if they were not.

Olivia has started to walk and here Jennifer was pregnant. Good things were happening around their air.

One evening , Jennifer was playing with Olivia and Mary was in the restaurant dealing with customers, even Berk was out of town for a business meeting. Then she heard something, as if someone was entering. But she didn’t bother , if someone was coming , guard  would be handling it. She started playing with Olivia again, but she felt something strange and called one of her servants to check on the door. But no one replied , she called their names again while standing in the lobby. Still she couldn’t hear anyone. She went into the kitchen and everyone was lying on the floor. She got so scared , she held Olivia’s hand tightly , and tried to contact the police . As she was certain someone was there in the home who has done this. Before she can contact the police, someone came from behind snatched her phone and hit a bat on her head. She felt dizziness for few seconds and then felt normal. As she saw right and left Olivia was not there. She turned and there was a man holding Olivia with hard hands and asked in a threatening voice to Jennifer , if you don’t let us rob within this house, we will cut Olivia’s heads in pieces. Jennifer didn’t even a say a word and stood there. She was so terrified , but she can’t let her home get robbed in front of her eyes. She tried some cunning tricks and reached near the landline to call the police. Only the first bell rang on the phone and one of them shot their gun on the ceiling. She became even more alert , and leaved on the phone. As Mary was coming from the restaurant , she noticed in the entry that the guard was faint , and felt every suspicious about that. She entered in and opened the door. The men saw Mary and thought  Jennifer had contacted her to rescue them , but actually that wasn’t the case. Mary understood what was going on and rushed to contact the police. She ran, and one of them started running towards her .As soon as the men thought the situation was going out of their control one of them put his gun on Olivia’s head , Jennifer ran towards Olivia and snatched her.. man shot the gun to her and right after that Jennifer came in front of Olivia to save her. She faced a gun shot in her stomach. Right after that Police arrived that Mary rushed to call.. Mary found Jennifer lying on the floor and Called the ambulance.

Jennifer was taken to the hospital and the men were prisoned for their crime act.

Jennifer had to undergo a surgery immediately as she has lost a considerable amount of blood, but they were out of blood. Luckily, Mary and Jennifer blood groups matched and Mary asked to donate her blood to her.

After an hour..

Doctors came out of the surgery room and made it clear that the unborn baby inside her died  but Jennifer survived luckily. Mary hugged Olivia and starting crying out loud. If she had come a minute early , this wouldn’t have been the case. She could not face her , she wanted to meet her but she couldn’t , she didn’t know what to say.

A nurse came out of the room and asked Mary and Jennifer was asking about her. She held inside the room and hugged Jennifer and started crying, “I’m really sorry , I can’t repay this to you what you have done, Saved Olivia’s life and risked yours. This is all my fault”.

Jennifer wiped Mary’s tears and hugged her and said “ When we are family , we make sacrifices for one another, we may not have same DNA but our hearts our connected”.

MARY CAME AS A CUSTOMER IN JENNIFER’S LIFE AND THEN AS A WORKER AND AFTER THAT AS A FRIEND AND AFTER SO SHE BECAME FAMILY. CHEERS TO THEIR SELFLESS LOVE .
