Darkness' Queen

"She was once in the light side, how would she turn into the darkness' Queen?" The mother asked.

Naya and Kina were twins ever since they turned in their teenage years they became the best twin duo at their world. Often label as the light and the darkness because of the way they dress.

Naya, as label and called the dark twin, never take it seriously and think never think of it. While on the other hand, Kina, label as the light twin don't like when other call her sister as dark.

Their mother was once the darkness heir but everything changes when she decided to ran away and met the light in her dark life. They got married and gave birth to the twin.

"Your eyes are as beautiful as our mom's eyes." Kina said to her twin sister while fixing her hair.

"So that's why they call me dark twin?" Naya asked to her sister.

Kina stopped brushing her hair and looked at her sister. As she saw a pain in her sister's eyes.

"No. You're not dark twin. We're both the light twins and we gave light to each other's life like how dad did when he met mom." Kina said and smiled at her sister.

"Promise me that no matter what happened to me, good or bad you'll stay at my side." Naya said as she lifted her pinky finger.

"I promised." Kina replied and locked her pinky finger to Naya's pinky finger.

Their mother overheard the conversation and she knew that one day, one of the twins will have to be the spare for her. And their promise will never happen forever.

"Let me pick your outfit." Kina said to Naya as she grabbed the black dress.

As both of them walked to school with their friends, little did they know they were being watched by an old lady.

"My dear granddaughters." The old lady said.

"Granddaughters? I'm sorry, I think I heard it wrong." Kina said squeezing Naya's hand to calm her down.

"You two are my granddaughter. One of you belongs to the dark world not in the light." The old lady said pulling Kina from Naya.

Naya was still holding er sister's hand not letting Kina be taken by the old lady. Her hands are getting kinda sweaty but she's still holding onto her sister's hand.

"Let go of her. Let go of my sister's hand." Naya said as she tried to pull her sister on her side.

"Why would you think I'll do that." The old lady said and glared at Naya.

"I SAID LET GO OF HER!!" As Naya yelled an echo was formed and she floated at the air. Even Kina flew away a little bit.

After that, Naya fell to try ground unconscious. A boy near them saw what happened and offered to help.

The boy carried Naya on the way to their home while Kina is leading the way. Both of them are quiet while walking home. Not until Kina broke the silence.

"Thank you for helping me." Kina said and smiled at the boy.

"Don't mention it. By the way I'm Hulo. And you are?" The boy introduced himself.

"I'm Kina and the girl you're carrying is Naya, my twin sister." Kina replied and walked beside him.

"You two don't look like twins." He said.

They stopped talking when they reached the entrance. A guard let them in and they rushed to tell an adult what happened.

"Darling? Is that you?" The twin's mom said.

"Mom! Help us!" Kina shouted from far still running.

When they reached to Kina's mom,  Kina breakdown.

"Naya! What happened?!" The mom said while tears are running in her cheeks seeing her daughter unconscious.

"An old lady came trying to get me. N-naya, Naya saved my life." Kina said as she looked at her sister.

"Don't tell me that she did th-"

"Yeah mom she did! She used the echo power of her." Kina said.

"You promised me that you'll never let this happen!!!" The mom said.

As they were crying, Naya woke up on Hulo's arm.

"W-who are you?" Naya asked.

"It doesn't matter. Go after them, hug them." Hulo replied and putting Naya down.

Their mom and Kina ran to get her. Hulo standing their awkwardly as she saw how the twin's mom suddenly bring Naya away from Kina.

"Mom what are you doing?" Kina asked.

"You're the one who supposed to be the exchange for me in the darkness." The mom said.

Naya is behind of their mother but she saw how her mother's eyes being super worried.

"Kina!!!!" Naya shouted and ran to her sister not thinking what her mother said.

Kina also ran to her and when they reached each other, they hugged like it was their first meet.

"You're not from the darkness, right? It is impossible." Naya said as she cries to her sister's shoulder.

"No. I'm not. So now let's go to our room, shall we?" Kina said as they walked inside.

They remembered the boy that helped them. And Naya turn around and ran to the boy. She also hugged the boy.

"Thank you, Hulo." Naya said and gave the sweetest smile that has never saw from her.

"You're welcome." Hulo said and was shocked about Naya's softness.

"You can stay here if you want." Kina said and walked over to Hulo.

"I can't stay here longer." Hulo said and waved his goodbye.

The twins watched the boy disappeared before walking inside of their house. Kina was worried for Naya more than to herself knowing that she might be the true exchange for her mother's disappearance.

"Sleep well, Naya." She said as she put the blanket to her sister. She looked at her sister and tears started to fall down from her eyes.

"Even without me." She added and after that the old lady appeared from the window.

Kina let her in and let her sit to one the chair.

"I am the exchange right? Then take me! Just don't hurt my sister." Kina said and was about to leave but she need to make sure she left the letter in a visible place.

As they fly away from the house, she glanced at her sister for the last time. Before whispering "good bye."

She saw how people in the darkness was leaving a miserable life, and don't want to be at that world.

The old lady call everybody's attention and as everybody saw her, they started gossiping.

"The crown ceremony begins." The old lady said.

"At this very moment?!" Kina asked in shocked.

"The crown of the darkness is now passing to the next queen. May the darkness fill your heart and make everyone suffer as I did." The old lady said and just like that the music started to play and the crown brought by a servant.

"The new queen of the darkness has been found." The old lady said and put the crown to Kina and just as that. Kina is the new queen.

After that day, Kina has never returned to the light and made everyone suffer just as her grandma did.
