Adventure Christian Kids

Great expectations.

Not child’s play. That is a certainty worth knowing.

And.

We are all children of God. So this all applies to us. But what if we say,

”I don’t wanna”.

“I don’t feel like it.”
.”You do it. You go first”.đŸ˜Ÿ

Today on Low Sunday we have the opportunity to rise up and be our best to self and others. Sadly, and unfortunately we sometimes and oftentimes are lazy and pawn our actions off to the highest bidder just to

Look good.

But there really is meaningful meaning in service-minded individuals it is usually just

Quiet. Quietly whispering in our ears and our heads—difficult to decipher.

Guidance that is not shouting at us or to us from the roof tops, but whispering gently in our ears. We sometimes tilt our heads in an intense effort to listen carefully because we are simply weary from the loudness of our own thoughts and actions.

We sometimes cannot hear what Gods is saying. So we walk down a lonely path of trying to figure it out. Blunders and mistakes and messes are the guidance. One day realizing, there may be, there is goodness in numbers (never thought I, a non-fan of mathematics would admit that).

But, I get it.

My story is not your story is not his story is not her story.

Where you go to seek the risen one? May not be where I go to seek guidance. Rebellious natured are rooted in the rebel. Over time just got tired of watching. So, took action. Take action. Same difference. Not the same outcome however.

What I learned is He really is there to pick you up off of the ground.â˜ș

One way or another. And although we may go kicking and screaming. At least we will get there. And that is goodness in action. We must not be afraid to laugh at ourselves and still take situations and circumstances with the seriousness they require.

So the self-blunders do not pound on another. It is not so much a dance as a trial and error kind of thing with some really smart persons at the helm.

Whew.

And.

Phew.

Gives meaningful meaning to have another’s back. Even if and when yours may be aching. Like crazy.

Limitations and Failures have a beautiful way of teaching us right from wrong.

And a boat load about forgiveness. In the name of love only should we open our arms to another. And then be very very careful from then on. Don’t waste that which has been graciously and gratefully given to you.

Sometimes we just gotta see it to believe it.

And sometimes we do not.

Today we call for a recount.

Today, on this low Sunday, Jesus recounts the appearance of and with the apostles. One in particular was a doubter. That is ok. That

is also part of someone’s story. It either solidifies or sends us back to square one to find the mistake, find our error.

Thomas. Doubting Thomas struggles to believe.

It is ok to ask questions. No one but He knows all the answers and He is willing to have you touch his own doubts and wounds to show you.

That is pretty darn brave if you ask me.

Thomas is actually quite courageous—others most likely were thinking the same thing—but he opened up and asked the hard question, the hard questions. He wanted to meet the risen Lord more than the others (pf). Scarey and beautiful at the same time.

He needed to SEE Jesus’s wounds after the crucifixion. Just last week, people, many people stood by and watched Jesus hang on the cross, cry out for his father, ask “why had God abandoned him” and many simply stood and watched.

Thomas struggled with this immensely. The doubting apostle represents all of us. Deity is hard to believe sometimes(Pf) There is great disappointment is watching another person struggle. Thomas lost the opportunity to do this alone, so he returned with the others to the recounting of appearance. The beautiful appearance of Jesus wounds on his hands and feet. With others in tow and in vow to believe.

We really are, or can be the hands and feet of Jesus.Doing good works, thinking good thoughts for self and others. How? The ever open channels of His mercy.(pf) And Jesus showed this and us by showing his wounds.

Kinda beautiful.

An extraordinary sign from Jesus and His Father. Selfless really. An extraordinary sign to touch his wounds. Weep openly with the doubts and struggles. If you want to meet me, do not look far. Look into the faces of others in the community and you will see the signs of love that overcome hatred. (pf). Cling more strongly to them.

They, like you, like me have their doubts and are willing to share them. When the teacher of all teachers was put upon the cross and those who believe could not believe it, Thomas took action to lay his doubts to rest.

It is never easy to convince others of believeability. One either does or they do not. With Jesus there is no middle ground. It is a beautiful way to think about servitude.

The meet up of all meet ups—Doubt has a way of guiding our steps. He is there at the path waiting for you even if and when you trip and fall along the way. His presence is the present of all presents. You ought be present when the opportunity arises.

Extraordinarily a beautiful way to live a life.

Try it.

You”ll like it.

Operation Get to Work🙂

Open your ears and open your eyes to what is right in front of you.

A person. A being who needs your doubting self to step it up to be there for them and their doubts.

To the point.

My point was missed.

What is your point.

Some folks find lengthy sentences to be a burden of TMI. Too much information. Sententious, contention is what they hear. That is ok. That may not be you. We are born different in his eyes for a reason or a hundred reasons. Some simply prefer the condensed version🙂

Authenticity has its roots in who we are. The rest is really up to us.
