Man likes to dominate.
The General-King put man over the beautiful territory. A green stretch of lowlands and highlands, waterfalls and valleys. Forests covered by the rivers of Pishon and Gihon, Hiddekel and Euphrates. The ocean meeting a stretch of blue at where- the human eyes can’t see.
The General-King called man ‘Governor’, in other words ‘you and I are equal’. Making the Governor in His own image, calling him ‘one with us’. The Governor was being educated about the kingdom/ territory- overlooking the beauty and thanking his now-father for putting him in charge for what reason; oh yeah, he looked like Him in the mirror.
The Governor waited for a day he would have a companion. The Gospel of the Kingdom can’t be overemphasized. He didn’t know how to tap into the inner him. Submitting to the General-King, a strong being was photocopied from him. Looking at her he saw him. Just a more pretty and intelligent one. A raceless beauty but still very beautiful, nonetheless. He saw himself and herself. He saw two in one. She saw a weirdo who drooled over her.
The first Governor- put over by the General-King, the King of Tyre, former earth, was extremely handsome and extremely spiteful. Looking at the new Governor’s obedience or the General-King’s son’s groveling as he sneers, bile rose in his throat not out of jealousy but of disgust. At least that’s what he says. Oh the King of Tyre, you don’t know him? He was the first Governor appointed. He was a creation not an image. He lacked the uniqueness of man- the God-factor put in him. He boasted in hoarding wealth, trading slaves and bronze, fine linen, rubies and embroidered cloth. He was a dark being who cheered over butchered villages and plundered cities. He reveled in the cries of the innocent and the blood trails of infants were his joy. He looted wine and wool from the Danites and Greeks- in fact he caused the whole world grief.
God, the General-King, utterly annoyed, said “Your heart is proud, going around saying, “I’m a god. I sit on God’s divine throne, ruling the sea”. You, a mere mortal trying to be a god.” Ouch. Thus, God, the Master, the General-King, said “Because you’re acting like a god, pretending to be what you’re not, I throw you out, disgraced, off the mountain of God. No longer do you have dominion over what I have, what I gave you. I’m against you, so everything I have is against you. Telikós”.
So why did the God-factor in man/ Original Governor/ image-of-God, subject himself to listening to an ejected voice. A disgraced being. A wandering spirit. When he was supposed to listen to the General-King, God only.
“I am naked” Governor said.
“Who told you” Father asked. Because Governor should listen to me. The serpent was singled out. He thought himself smarter than all the animals. Animal! You’re to listen to man only.
God is a Judge. He has to give a judgement. “Cursed are you among all the wild animals. Lose the legs you walked on to deceive the woman. Slink on your belly and eat dirt all your life. Disgrace”.
Man, no longer king of many territories, out of free will- given by God, listened to the external voice and gave absolute dominion over to it. Now, God has to go start ‘Kingdom restoration’ or ‘damage control’.
“Bruh, why won’t God just snap His finger and shout “Free from Sin!””
General-King said in His word “Only blood can redeem”. Heck, God cannot go against His word. Okay, okay, that’s easy.
Goats, sheep, cattle were slaughtered. The hind of a deer, accepted.
The fourth limb of the dog denied.
The residual blood of the goat not accepted.
“Bruh, how’s the Old testament going?” also known as the blood sacrifices. Just peachy. Something is not right. There’s so much the blood of an animal can redeem.
“Ooh. I now know why Jesus Christ/ Kingmaker had to die”.
“How?”
Only His blood can redeem.
No shit! “How?”
Made by a Holy spérma with a willing maiden- yeah, God understands consent too- an ultimate sacrifice was born. The Unconditional Love and Faithful Works of the General-King, His very Word, became flesh. Only man can save man. You didn’t know? That’s why the angels were condemned after sin, they’re not a race hence they can’t reproduce to be saved. But that’s a story for another day.
Moving into the neighborhoods, cities and towns, He made the General-King known to everyone. Not the one preached by the old book- the vengeful and dissatisfied One, but the loving and accepting one. The price was paid. A lamb was slain. Blood enough to redeem sins of the past, present and future.
Man regained dominion again. This is what many still don’t know. The Gospel of the Kingdom cannot be overemphasized. Dominion is seized everywhere. Man seeks to dominate everything. They do not know they seek something they lost. They seek something they’ve been given once more. The former, some know. Both are known by a particular sect. Both unknown by another particular sect. Both should be known by all.
Men seek to dominate other countries, enslaving them, creating colonies. Unknowingly trying to imitate the General-King, but doing so not in love and peace but dark desire.
Brands seek to dominate wardrobes, rooms, people’s mental faculty. Ads stick in the mind, catchy songs playing over and over and over again- seeking to dominate something. Food joints, phone brands, cars, the land you bought yesterday. Dominion, dominate, dominant. Man, I love these things as well. But it all boils down to man seeks to dominate. Who knew domineering had such an in-depth past? A culture forgotten by many. Dominion. What are we trying to dominate? Get hip! Dominion has been given. God/ my General-King dominating to give dominion back to man. The Devil dominating to take dominion from man. Man, what are you dominating?
The God thing or the wrong thing.
