Dear future ruler of Kamo
I had recently met a necromancer who was caught by a group of adventures. I asked him several questions, like "how are you?", "what were you doing "and he kept answering "I can't say it." I was about to give up when I got the idea to turn into my dragon form. I asked the head guard if I could take the prisoner to the top of the castle or even the outskirts of it. He agreed, but only if I was "supervised" by him. So we went to the courtyard with the prisoner and I became a dragon and picked both of them and we first went behind one of the walls. Where I asked the same questions. Again the prisoner answered "I can't say it" This time instead of being calm he was fearful. He kept looking at the ground. Unlike when he was in prison where was able to look right at me. Getting frustrated, we took him to the top of the castle. Where he began holding him over the edge. Yet again we asked him the same questions and yet again he kept saying "I can't say it". Losing all hope we dropped him. His screams rang the air until I started to regret my decision and became a dragon once more and saved him. It wasn't that moment that is when he wanted to make a deal. He'd tell me everything, as long I was alone with him. I told the head guard about the deal the prisoner wanted and he accepted it very hesitantly. I will tell you what the prisoner said at a later date, now I must prepare myself for this very important meeting.
Dear future ruler of Kamo
I regret to say that the necromancer is dead. At some point before I met the man he was lying dead in his cell. I don't know all the details, there are no suspects but there was a note left behind and it said "Kamo will fall to the White Valleys." it was well-written and clear even though parts were covered in blood. On the back, it had the words "Sun Maskers" I didn't know what they were so I went to some scholars who told me that the Sun Maskers are a necromancer cult who want to rule over everything and everyone. When I was told this I thought it was nonsense then it got me thinking. Isn't there a prophecy about how a half-orc will untie the continent and all kingdoms will be one? I asked more about this supposed prophecy but all I got was the half-orc would be named Noone and that all the races would either fall or serve him. I hated this idea of a non-human controlling humans. The elves became total power-hungry savages who enslaved humans for decades before the Great Lion Gods freed us from elvish reign. I'm not about to allow Kamo to be some puppet to some half-breed human who knows nothing of our ways. I apologize for my ranting, I didn't know I had such strong feelings on the subject. Anyway, I think this cult is on to something and I'm going to find out one way or another.
Dear future ruler of Kamo
I found someone who personally knows one of the necromancers who is a Sun Masker. I then planned a meeting with the three of us. It will be at the Quest Keepers Tavern, at dusk 3 days from now. I will tell you how it goes.
Dear future ruler of Kamo
I had my meeting and I can safely say that I have been converted to their cause. The necromancer I met was a male half-elf who was rejected by both humans and elves for his power and race. He ran away from his home in one of the Golden Forest coastal cities. He made his new home in the White Valleys where he met many people like him. He was inducted into their ways of life, their attitude toward necromancy, and their views of Kamo and the world at large. His talents and power made him rise through their ranks and is two ranks from becoming viable to become a Lich. His life story showed me that the treatment and resentment Kamo has for necromancers and the White Valleys as a whole is completely unjustified. Then he told me how he is trying to prepare his people for the prophesied half-orc "Noone" since they too do not wish to be made into slaves to a green-skinned human want-be. I felt the same way, I felt the same convictions, and I felt like we both were struggling with the same thing. For the first time, in a long time, I met someone who wanted to untie Kamo and the White Valleys. However, the part I disagreed with harshly was for the White Valleys to take over. I told him the best course of action would be to make a peace treaty, and then slowly integrate and mix up Kamo and White Valley culture, customs, values, and morals so that perhaps one day they would be one. The half-elf disagreed with me very harshly, he said that in just a couple more years the White Valleys would finally have enough bodies and necromancers to invade Kamo. Then I proposed an arranged marriage so that we both got what we wanted. The half-elf argued that it wouldn't work since there is no real royal house and the the undead lords would never want to marry a Kamo princess. In the end, we agreed that together our countries would stand the best chance against Noone untied rather than divided. I left feeling like I had finally met someone who had the same desires and a similar mindset. I plan on having future meetings and seeing what we can do in our positions to make sure there is a union happens. I am doing this for you, for the country, and for all those who will be spared by Noone's conquests.
