"I'll be right!" I shouted through the loud music. She just stared at me and shook her head.

"Ellie, I'm coming with you." She finally said. I rolled my eyes in response, being dramatic as I always was.

I sighed, wrapping my arms around hers as we went off to the bathroom. I was shocked by the line. There were too many tipsie girls for my liking.

"Whatcha looking at freak!" One of them pointed at me. I put my hands up in defense. "Sheesh," I whispered.

I immediately felt shivers on my spine as my eyes made contact with someone that I really did not want to see that night. "Lets go Belle, this line's too long," I said pulling her arms, but she did not budge. "Come on, lets go!" I was practically yelling.

"Girl if you don't chill out, I swear," She lightly chuckled. I grew angry, realizing what was about to happen. Before I could leave, a pair of hands gripped my hips. I let out a yelp and stared into Belle's eyes, begging for help. But she just stood there with wide eyes, and before I knew it, she left.

I prayed to God, to my dead goldfish, to anything that could get me out of this situation.

"Were you not going to say 'hey' before leaving. Is that what we've come to? Is that what you want our relationship to be like?" He asked in a low monotoned voice.

I shook my head lightly and bite down on my lips, so hard that I could taste blood. "What are you doing here?" I asked in a shaky voice. Finally ripping away from his grip, I was able to look at him in the eyes. He had a devilish grin but his eyes were as emotionless as a corpse.

I started getting creeped out, moving backwards slowly. He only came closer. Just then, I looked around and everyone was staring at us.

"Are you serious? You come to this party to get away from me after a very small mistake I made?" I knew he was angry, from his Italian accent being so prominent.

"Are you serious?" I mocked him. "I'm not just some stupid girl that you can control whenever you want."

"Can we go somewhere private?" He asked, finally realizing that we were not the only ones invested in our conversation.

"No! Why are you here?" I repeated. I folded my arms in from of me and stared him down like we were in a staring contest. "Come on, I didn't mean to do it." He said awkwardly as he looked around the room. "What are you? A twenty-five year old at a college party? How embarrassing is that? Can't a girl have some fun without an old man chasing her around every second?"

I smirked at the look he was giving me. It quickly turned into a frown when I realized how mad he was. All he could see at that moment was red. I didn't know what upset him so much. Wasn't he the one that came to the party? Why is he so childish? My thoughts vanished once I felt a hard grip on my hair. "Ow!" I shouted.

Skipping the large line, he shoved me into the restroom, the second the petite girl, that was taking ages, left. With a grip still on my hair, he just stood there to staring at me. No emotion. No expression. No anything.

After a while of realizing that he wasn't going to let me go, I kicked him in the back of his legs. He let out a loud groan before letting go of my hair. I quickly sprinted out of the restroom, towards the door, before I could feel hands on my wrist, preventing me from leaving.

I turned to look at who it was. "Belle, what the hell? Let me go." I looked down at my wrist, then at her. She didn't say anything, and just a moment after, Val came running. "Thanks Belle, now leave before I kill you." He said smiling widely as he continued to focus his eyes at me. I narrowed my eyes at him and then to Belle, repeating multiple times, trying to process what was going on.

Belle has never met Val? How does he know her?

"I don't know what you want from me, ok? I didn't mean to kill your cat. I'm sorry." And just like that, hearing his apologetic voice, I cried into his arms. When I finished sobbing, he looked at me without saying a word. We instantly both smiled at each other, like psychopaths.

"You're so dramatic, you know that?" He smirked as we held hands, leaving the party. I rolled my eyes in response, not felling like wasting my breath arguing with him

He opened the car door for me, and I went it. What a gentleman he was when he wasn't a weirdo. Just a few seconds later, he opened his car door, and let himself in. He sighed as he saw me staring at him. "I love you, ok? You're cat is in heaven now, probably meeting Michael Jackson or something."

I just giggled as a response. "What was that about? You and Belle know each other?" I asked, my curiosity getting the best of me. His smile dropped almost immediately.

"She works for me."

"And you tell me this now?" I got out of the car, even though he was only seconds from driving. He stopped the engine and got out as well.

"I'm sor-" He started, as a pop behind him stopped him from continuing. I felt ringing in my ears at how loud the sound was. I covered my ears and scrunched up my nose. Val stared at me wide eyed and lightly pressed down on the back of his head, before realizing that blood covered what felt like every square inch of his body.

He abruptly dropped on the floor. I couldn't process what was going. I just stood there frozen. I noticed a figure holding a gun out as though they had just shot someone. I narrowed my eyes to get a better look at who it was. I gasped and put my hands on my mouth. Belle.

The last thing I remember before fainting was his face. His lifeless stupid face, pooled in blood. 'If you crash, I crash' I thought with a grin as everything went black.
