Finding the Post Treasure

On one casual Tuesday An Archaeologist named Bryan was checking the mail when he saw an envelope that looked official. He opened it and it said that he was needed in Egypt to explore a lost tomb in a pyramid . It said that he had to be there by Thursday or they  would start without him. So he packed up and he went to the airport and just as he was walking in the overhead speaker said “Now boarding the flight to Egypt”. He really had to hurry now. He ran to his flight and he boarded the plane. 

Two hours into the flight a drunk guy slams into Bryan ,and the guy says “Buy me a drink”

He asked the man who was drunk what his name was and he says “Buy me a drink”. “Wait your the professor that was mentioned in the letter,”Bryan said.” What letter? “ he asked. “The letter inviting me to come to Egypt to explore the pyramid with you”. “I didn't send you anything to your house.””Well that's weird”. “Well we should get some sleep so we can get to the pyramid by noon on Thursday.”Ok I guess you’re  right”.

Four hours later they land in Cairo, Egypt. The overhead speaker says,”We are about to land we hope you have had a delightful flight and a wonderful experience and hope you will return soon”. They get off the plane and they go to the station where the letter said to go. When they get there they are confronted by a bulky looking man in a suit. He asks,   “Why are you here,do you have an appointment”? “No we were invited here,” he said.

“Boss says no one comes in without an appointment.” the bulk guy said. “Well guess what we do have an appointment.” he lied. “Now could you lets us in please.” “I suppose I could .” The bulky guy let them in and when they walked in the doors they were amazed at how pretty it was inside considering how ragged it looked on the outside. They walked up they marble stairs to an office and there stood what looked like a homeless person. He said his name was Dave and he was the one who had invited them to explore the pyramid. “Oh well that explains a lot.Why could you not tell us more about this tomb and where it is and what lies in it.” “Well I couldn't tell you that because it is rumored that there is gold treasure in that tomb that we will be exploring.I couldn't risk anybody else knowing about this or the safety of our mission would be in peril. People from every where in egypt would come and try to steal the treasure for themselves. People here in egypt are greedy so you can trust no one.” “So when can we get  going,”says Brian. “We should get going soon” says the Pro.”Then we will go in the morning then if you want to hurry.”

In the morning they all wake up and eat breakfast and say goodmorning to each other. Then they get in the car and start to drive to the pyramid but they get stuck in a sandstorm.This lasts about 2 hours then they get back on the road towards the pyramid.  

Then after they get there, they were confronted by a security guard that stopped them and said “You need to have special permission to enter this section of the pyramid and you must have a face mask to avoid possible contamination.” ‘ Ok we’ll be back with the passes and the suits not masks because the mask feels itchy on our skin,” says the Pro.    

Four hours later they come with a warrant and some hazard suits. “May we come in now” says Brian in an agitated tone. “Yes I suppose you may come into the restricted area now,”says they security guard.

When they get inside the area they are confronted they come across another security guard. He says “You need a warrant to pass by this point”  “Oh come on they” all say in harmony. “Hey look someone without permission is walking by” the Pro lied. Then when the security guard ran away they snuck into the pyramid.After they get in they immediately start looking for the secret entrance to the tomb. They start going down a corridor and they notice that they are starting to sink into the floor. But the Pro got out somehow and started to look for a reverse button. He found a circular object that had something that looked like a beetle. When he pressed it there was a rectangle of stone coming out of the pit of quicksand and they climb out holding on the the slab of stone. “Well That was close,”said Bryan.

They walk down a corridor and the Pros foot slides down and he is sucked into a tunnel that traps him in a secret tunnel. “ Whoa” he says. 

“ Are you ok” says Brian and Dave said. “ Yes I’m ok” he says. “ Ok we will try to get you out of there as soon as possible” Dave says.

As they were talking the Pro found another button that had a beetle on it . He pressed it and the floor started moving up and a trap door opened up and he got out. “ I'm okay” says the Pro before the others could ask.

Out of nowhere there were 5 security guards come through the corridor and they say “ Stop right there” The Trio starts to run but the security guards taze them fast.

When they wake up they are in a dusty damp smelling place which reminded him of a jail cell. “ Where are we” Brian asked the security guard. “ Where do you think” said the security guard. “ In a jail cell” says Bryan

“Obviously your in a jail cell” 

“Why did you sneak in anyway” he said. “We are looking for a hidden treasure.”  Immediately he covers his mouth. “ What, treasure. Tell me where it is and I will let you go.” “ No we will not tell you ,but if you want to we can talk about you helping us find the treasure.” “ Fine you bring me and I will lego home or whatever.” As he's saying this Dave whispers to Bryan “Remember you can trust no one in Egypt.” 

The trio talked about for several hours before making a decision, but they said that he could come if he took an oath not to betray them. He took the oath and it was done .They set off towards the pyramid again but with the guards help. When they got in they made sure they did not take the corridor with the quicksand (see paragraph 6) but when they came to the corridor with the trap door they tried to get into it again but it was sealed shut the Pro found a button with another beetle on it . He presses it  and a door pops out of the wall and they walk into it.

When they come through the secret passageway through the wall they come into a room with no windows and one door immediately the stone door shuts the four defenceless people in the room and as soon as the door closes african beetles  start crawling up the walls.
